균형충전을 위한 HR3P 금형 구조에서의 공정의 최적화 (Optimization of Processing on Filling Balance of the HR3P Mold Structure)

  • Almost all injection molds have multi-cavity runner system for mass production, which are designed with geometrically balanced runner system in order to accomplish filling balance between cavity to cavity during processing. However, even though geometrically balanced runner is used, filling imbalance has been observed. Filling imbalance could be decreased by modifying processing conditions such as injections rate, mold temperature, injection pressure, melt temperature that are related to shear, viscosity. In this study, a series of experiment was conducted to investigate filling imbalance variation when modifying runner layout and polymer and to determine which processing condition influences as the primary cause of filling imbalance in geometrically balanced runner system. The filling imbalance was decreased up to result range of $3{\leq}DFI{\leq}8(%)$ by using a new runner system for balanced filling.

Optimization of Processing Conditions of Chinese Smoke-cured Bacon (Larou) with a New Natural Coating Solution during Storage Period

  • The study aims to determine the optimum sterilization rate and water activity of Chinese traditional smoke-cured bacon product (Larou) in the preservation with natural coating solution. With the response surface methodology (RSM), we analyzed 3 factors of processing conditions (the concentration of lysozyme, concentration of sodium alginate, and concentration of chitosan) and 2 response factors (sterilization rate and water activity). Sterilization rate and water activity of Larou were largely affected by the concentration of lysozyme, concentration of sodium alginate, and concentration of chitosan. The final optimum concentrations of lysozyme, sodium alginate, and chitosan were 0.09, 1.40, and 1.60% and realized the high sterilization rate. Water activity of sliced Larou was significantly correlated with the sterilization rate. Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance analysis verified the optimum processing conditions. The coating resulted in 99.69% rate of reducing bacteria after 30-day storage. The data of the total number of colony, peroxidation value, moisture content, pH, and sensory evaluation provided the theoretical basis for extending the shelf life of Chinese traditional smoke-cured bacon product (Larou) with natural coating solution.

  • This study is to analyse marketing and industrial structure of meat processing industry and to examine it's current situation related to agriculture. For this purpose 1. This paper surveys the history of meat processing industry, and analyses current situation of meat processing industry, based upon economic statistic data. 2. For the research of marketing structure of meat processing products, this paper not only ciassifies into three catagories; the supply of raw meat, main marketing organization, and path, but measures magnitude of Marketing Bill and Farmer's Share practically through statistic data and an on-the-spot survey. 3. This study also attempt to explain the relation of meat processing industry and the other industry and role of meat processing industry is Korean economy by the use of input-output table. The results of the study are as follows; 1. The meat processing industry in Korea produces low quality, and expensive raw meat with limited quality, inefficiency of marketing structure, and unrelated livestock and meat processing industry. 2. Korea market structure of meat processing products has been changed into oligopoly from monopoly by a new corporation entered into monopoly and the size of meat processing market firms has been normalized. 3. Meat processing industry is very important considering with its high back-linkage-effect. In order to develop meat processing industry and marketing, it is essential that operation of intergrated meat market center, meat market center should be efficiently operated. The efficient utilization of domestic resource for raw meat and development of processing technique have to be required, by means of the governmental support.

자폐스펙트럼장애 아동에서 대소변 가림 여부에 따른 사회지수 및 감각처리기능 비교 (Comparison of Social Quotient and Sensory Processing According to the Toileting Ability in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in social quotient and sensory processing function between completed-toileting and incomplete-toileting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We aims to provide a basis for the training of children with autism spectrum disorders. Methods : The subjects of this research were children with ASD, aged from 4 to 7, receiving sensory integration therapy at the H-Child Development Research Center in Busan, South Korea. After recruiting 30 parents who had children with ASD, we interviewed them and we divided their children into completed-toileting group and incomplete-toileting group based on the past researches. We assessed them using the Social Maturity Scale and Sensory Profile. Spearman correlation was used to analyze between the sensory processing score and social quotient. Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the Sensory Profile scores of the two groups. Results : The social quotient was correlated with the sensory processing score in the most of component as for auditory processing, vestibular processing, touch processing, multisensory processing, orosensory processing, except for visual processing. The groups of completed-toileting and incomplete-toileting group showed statistically significant intergroup difference in sensory seeking, emotional reactive, oral-sensory sensitivity, and inattention/distractibility in the sensory factor region. No statistically significant difference from intergroup was observed in any modulation areas, nor in behavioral & emotional response domains. Conclusion : A significant intergroup difference was observed in the most of sensory processing areas, except for modulation areas and behavioral & emotional response domains. The result revealed that toileting is significantly correlated with sensory processing. Therefore, this study suggests that the sensory processing function should be considered in the toilet training of children with ASD.

Managing and Modeling Strategy of Geo-features in Web-based 3D GIS

  • Geo-features play a key role in object-oriented or feature-based geo-processing system. So the strategy for how-to-model and how-to-manage the geo-features builds the main architecture of the entire system and also supports the efficiency and functionality of the system. Unlike the conventional 2D geo-processing system, geo-features in 3B GIS have lots to be considered to model regarding the efficient manipulation and analysis and visualization. When the system is running on the Web, it should also be considered that how to leverage the level of detail and the level of automation of modeling in addition to the support for client side data interoperability. We built a set of 3D geo-features, and each geo-feature contains a set of aspatial data and 3D geo-primitives. The 3D geo-primitives contain the fundamental modeling data such as the height of building and the burial depth of gas pipeline. We separated the additional modeling data on the geometry and appearance of the model from the fundamental modeling data to make the table in database more concise and to allow the users more freedom to represent the geo-object. To get the users to build and exchange their own data, we devised a file format called VGFF 2.0 which stands for Virtual GIS File Format. It is to describe the three dimensional geo-information in XML(eXtensible Markup Language). The DTD(Document Type Definition) of VGFF 2.0 is parsed using the DOM(Document Object Model). We also developed the authoring tools for. users can make their own 3D geo-features and model and save the data to VGFF 2.0 format. We are now expecting the VGFF 2.0 evolve to the 3D version of SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) especially for 3D GIS on the Web.

실시간 3차원 레이저 레이더 영상 생성을 위한 CUDA 기반 병렬처리 소프트웨어 설계 (The Design of Parallel Processing S/W Using CUDA for Realtime 3D Laser Ladar Imaging System)

  • 본 논문은3차원레이저레이더(LADAR, Laser Ladar) 영상 생성 시스템 개발을 수행함에 있어, 요구되는 실시간 처리를 구현하기 위해 CPU(Central Processing Unit) 및 GPU(Graphic Processing Unit)의 병렬처리 구조를 설계하는 CUDA(Common Unified Device Architecture) 기반 소프트웨어(SW, Software) 구현 기법에 대하여 설명한다. LADAR 시스템은 레이저 거리정보를 기반으로 3차원 영상을 생성하는 복잡도 높은 시스템으로써, 각 단계별로 많은 량의 처리 자원이 필요하다. 따라서, 한정된 시스템 자원 내에서 이를 실시간으로 처리하기 위해서는 반드시 병렬처리 구조를 설계 및 적용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는, 처리 알고리즘의 단계적 분석을 통해 분할 가능한 작업에 대하여 CUDA GPU로 할당 및 처리를 수행함으로써, 시스템에서 요구하는 실시간 처리를 달성하였으며, 처리 속도 분석을 통해 최대 46%의 처리 속도 향상을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 ROI-CENTRIST 기반 보행자 인식 알고리즘의 병렬처리 방식을 제안한다. 기존의 보행자 인식 방식만을 이용하여 임베디드 환경에서 보행자 인식을 실시간으로 처리하기에는 어려움이 존재한다. 이러한 문제는 기존의 알고리즘에 ROI를 적용한 방식을 병렬로 처리함으로써 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 ROI-CENTRIST 기반 보행자 인식의 병렬처리 방식은 기존의 CENTRIST 기반 보행자 인식 방식보다 약 10% 향상된 5.2 fps의 성능을 보인다.

영상처리를 이용한 홍삼의 외형선별 시스템 개발 (Development of a Korean Red-Ginseng’s Shape Sorting System Using Image Processing)

  • The purpose of this study were to organize a sorting system, to develop an algorithm of image processing for the shape sorting, and to finally develop a scientific and objective shape sorting system of Korean Red-Ginseng for mechanization of the shape sorting. The results of this study are followed. 1. The shape sorting system of Korean Red-Ginseng consists of a control computer, a color CCD camera(WV-CP4110) for image processing, an image processing board(DT3153), and an image acquisition unit. 2. Many image processing skill, such as sliding, stretching, threshold, binary and D$\sub$t/ were used to analyze the shape sorting factors of Korean Red-ginseng. 3. The sorting accuracy of the shape sorting system for the Korean Red-Ginseng was 74.7%. It is 21.1% lower than that of human inspector. Although the system has low accuracy, using more cameras may improve its sorting accuracy.

Processing Factors and Removal Ratios of Select Pesticides in Hot Pepper Leaves by a Successive Process of Washing, Blanching, and Drying

  • Six pesticides were determined in hot pepper leaves after successive processing steps of washing, blanching, and drying. The tested pesticides included dichlofluanid, flusilazole, folpet, iprodione, ${\lambda}$-cyhalothrin, and lufenuron. Each pesticide was singly applied to the leaves of the pepper plants, which were being cultivated in a greenhouse. The processing factors were dependent on the type of pesticide, and were in the following ranges: 0.09-0.73 by washing, <0.00-0.48 after blanching, and <0.00-3.30 after drying. Only lufenuron showed a processing factor of more than 1, at 3.30 in dried leaves, while the processing factors of the other pesticides were less than 1. The removal ratios of the tested pesticides by washing ranged from 27 to 90%. The blanching step increased their removals by 10-25%. However, drying did not have an effect on residue reduction. Finally, after proceeding to the drying step, removal ratios ranged from 85 to 100%, with the exception of lufenuron at 47%.
