In this paper, we propose a 3DTV system that considers user's view point and display environment. The proposed system consists of 3 parts - multi-view encoder/decoder, face-tracker, and 2D/3D converter. The proposed system try to encode multi-view sequence and decode it in accordance with the user's view point and it also gives a stereopsis to the multi-view image by using of 2D/3D conversion which converts decoded two-dimensional(2D) image to three-dimensional(3D) image. Experimental results shows that we are able to correctly reconstruct a stereoscopic view that is exactly corresponding to user's view point.

This paper proposes two kinds of single-balanced direct conversion quadrature receivers using selfoscillating LMVs in which the voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) itself operates as a mixer while generating an oscillation. The two LMVs are complementary coupled and series coupled to generate the quadrature oscillating signals, respectively. Using a 65 nm CMOS technology, the proposed quadrature receivers are designed and simulated. Oscillating at around 2.4 GHz frequency, the complementary coupled quadrature receiver achieves the phase noise of -28 dBc/Hz at 1KHz offset and -109 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset frequency. The other series coupled receiver achieves the phase noise of -31 dBc/Hz at 1KHz offset and -109 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset frequency. The simulated voltage conversion gain of the two single-balanced receivers is 37 dB and 45 dB, respectively. The double-sideband noise figure of the two receivers is 5.3 dB at 1 MHz offset. The quadrature receivers consume about 440 μW dc power from a 1.0-V supply.
The paper presents an investigation into the mode conversion and scattering characteristics of guided waves at delaminations in laminated composite beams. A three-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model, which is experimentally verified using data measured by 3D scanning laser vibrometer, is used in the investigation. The study consists of two parts. The first part investigates the excitability of the fundamental anti-symmetric mode ($A_0$) of guided wave in laminated composite beams. It is found that there are some unique phenomena, which do not exist for guided waves in plate structures, make the analysis become more complicated. The phenomena are observed in numerical study using 3D FE simulations. In the second part, several delaminated composite beams are studied numerically to investigate the mode conversion and scattering characteristics of the $A_0$ guided wave at delaminations. Different sizes, locations and through-thickness locations of the delaminations are investigated in detail. The mode conversion and scattering phenomena of guided waves at the delaminations are studied by calculating reflection and transmission coefficients. The results show that the sizes, locations and through-thickness locations of the delaminations have significant effects on the scattering characteristics of guided waves at the delaminations. The results of this research would provide better understanding of guided waves propagation and scattering at the delaminations in the laminated composite beams, and improve the performance of guided wave damage detection methods.

A D-band subharmonically-pumped resistive mixer has been designed, processed, and experimentally tested. The circuit is based on a $180^{\circ}$ power divider structure consisting of a Lange coupler followed by a ${\lambda}$/4 transmission line (at local oscillator (LO) frequency). This monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) has been realized in coplanar waveguide technology by using an InAlAs/InGaAs-based metamorphic high electron mobility transistor process with 100-nm gate length. The MMIC achieves a measured conversion loss between 12.5 dB and 16 dB in the radio frequency bandwidth from 120 GHz to 150 GHz with 4-dBm LO drive and an intermediate frequency of 100 MHz. The input 1-dB compression point and IIP3 were simulated to be 2 dBm and 13 dBm, respectively.

In this paper, a broadband single balanced mixer is presented using a wideband rat-race implementation by vertical coupling. Frequency is selected as $1.5{\sim}3$ GHz for RF, $1.64{\sim}3.14$ GHz for LO, and 140 MHz for IF signals. When LO signal with 6 dBm at 2.7 GHz is injected, a conversion loss of 7.5 dB and RF to LO isolation of 30 dB are obtained. Also, an average conversion loss of 10 dB, RF to LO isolation of 30 dB, and LO to IF isolation of 45 dB are obtained for frequency band of $1.5{\sim}3$ GHz.

The single-step process for conversion of syngas to DME give higher conversion than the syngas-to-methanol process. This arises because of a synergy among the three simultaneous reaction, methanol synthesis, methanol dehydration and water gas shift reaction, in the process. we would find the optimal condition of the process which these advantages. The optimal condition of DME synthesis reaction over a commercial $Cu/Zn/Al_2O_3$ catalyst and Hybrid catalyst in a fixed bed reactor. The syngas-to-dimethyl ether conversion was examined on various reaction condition (Temperature 473~553K, $H_2/CO$ ratio 1~3, Pressure 30'50atm, GHSV 1000~4000).

In this paper, a FM radio receiver integrated circuit has been developed based on $0.5{\mu}m$ CMOS process for Zero-Crossing FM demodulator over the 88MHz to 108MHz band. The receiver is designed with the low-IF architecture, and includes Low Noise Amplifier(LNA), Down-Conversion Mixer, Phase Locked Loop(PLL), IF LPF, and a comparator. The measured results of the LNA and Mixer show that the conversion gain of 23.2 dB, the input PldB of -14 dBm, and the noise figure of 15 dB. The measured analog block of the LPF and comparator show the voltage gain of over 89 dB, and the IF LPF can configure the passband from 600KHz to 1.3MHz with 100KHz step through the internal control register banks. The designed FM radio receiver operates at 4.5V with the total current consumption of 15.3mA, so the total power consumption is about 68.85mW. The commercial FM radio has been successfully received.

Feeding proper level of ration matchable with the appetite of fish will enhance production and also prevent waste of food and its consequence, side effects such as pollution of culture medium. To pursue this goal, elaborate studies on dissolved oxygen concentrations- as the major force in inducing appetite and the growth outcome are necessary. The growth of common carp of 67, 200, 400, 600, and 800 gram size groups was studied at oxygen concentrations ranging from 2.0 to 6 mg/$\iota$ in relation to rations from 1 to as many percent of the initial body weight as could be consumed under constant temperature of $25^{\circ}C$. The results from the experiments are summarized as followings; 1. Appetite: The smaller fish exhibited higher degree of appetite than the bigger ones at the same oxygen concentrations. The bigger the fish the less tolerant it was to the lower oxygen thersholds, and the degree of tolerence decreased as ration level increased. 2. Growth : Growth rate (percent per day) increased - unless consumption was suppressed by low oxygen levels- as the ration was increased to maximum. In case of 67 g fish, it reached the highest point of $5.05\%$ / day at $7\%$ ration under 5.0 mg/$\iota$ of oxygen. In case of 200 g fish, the maximum growth rate of $3.75\%$/day appeared at the maximum ration of $6\%$ under 5.5 mg/$\iota$ of oxygen. In 400 g fish, the highest growth of $3.37\%$/day occurred at the maximum ration of $5\%$ and 6.0 mg/$\iota$ of oxygen. In 600 g fish, the highest growth rate of $2.82\%$ /day was at the maximum ration of $4\%$ under 5.5 mg/$\iota$ oxygen. In case of 800g fish, the highest growth rate of $1.95\%$/day was at maximum tested ration of $3\%$ under 5.0 mg/$\iota$ oxygen. 3. Food Conversion Efficiency: Food conversion efficiency ($\%$ dry feed converted into the fish tissue) first increased as the ration was increased, reached maximum at certain food level, then started decreasing with further increase in the ration. The maximum conversion efficiency stood at higher feeding rate for the smaller fish than the larger ones. In case of 67 g fish, the maximum food conversion efficiency was at $4\%$ ration within 3.0-4.0 mg/$\iota$ oxygen. In 200g fish, the maximum efficiency was at $3\%$ ration within 4.0-4.5 mg/$\iota$ oxygen. In 400g fish, the maximum efficiency was at $2\%$ ration within 4.0 - 4.5 mg/$\iota$ oxygen. In 600 and 800g fish, the maximum conversion efficiency shifted to the lowest ration ($1\%$) and lower oxygen ranges. 4. Behaviour: The fish within uncomfortably low oxygen levels exhibited suppressed appetite and movements and were observed to pass feces quicker and in larger quantity than the ones in normal condition; in untolerably low oxygen the fish were lethargic, vomited, and had their normal skin color changed into pale yellow or grey patches. All these processes contributed to reducing food conversion efficiency. On the other hand, the fish within relatively higher oxygen concentrations exhibited higher degree of movement and their food conversion tended to be depressed when compared with sister groups under corresponding size and ration within relatively low oxyen level. 5. Suitability of Oxygen Ranges to Rations: The oxygen level of 2.0- 2.5 mg/$\iota$ was adequate to sustain appetite at $1\%$ ration in all size groups. As the ration was increased higher oxygen was required to sustain the fish appetite and metabolic activity, particularly in larger fish. In 67g fish, the $2\%$ ration was well supported by 2.0-2.5 mg/$\iota$ range; as the ration increased to $5\%$, higher range of 3.0-4.0 mg/$\iota$ brought better appetite and growth; from 5 till $7\%$ (the last tested ration for 67 g fish) oxygen levels over 4.0 mg/$\iota$ could sustain appetite. In 200 g fish, the 2 and $3\%$ rations brought the best growth and conversion rates at 3.5-4.5 mg/$\iota$ oxygen level; from 3 till $6\%$ (the last tested ration at 200 g fish) oxyge groups over 4.5 mg/$\iota$ were matchable with animal's appetite. In 400, 600, and 800 g fish, all the rations above $2\%$ had to be generally supported with oxygen levels above 4.5 mg/$\iota$.
This study is a VR system design designed to evaluate the impact of interaction on user experience analyzed by developer's perspective for the interactive VR fashion show. In the VR fashion show design, we produced an interactive system through the four interactive elements of camera viewpoint, cloth, effects, and sound. The interactive design system is proposed based on three application facto rs in VR space design: speed, range, and mapping. The study focused on the user experience based on format conversion to apply the Unity3D engine using 3D model, animation, 2D UI design, and simulation.
