  • Rapid and simple method was developed for simultaneous determination of vitamins $D_3\;and\;K_1$ contents in infant formula. Contents of vitamins $D_3\;and\;K_1$, extracted by column-switching HPLC with reversed phase column using enzymatic hydrolysis and organic solvent, in CRM determined by developed method were within certified ranges of standard values.

  • Stereoscopic/autostereoscopic systems have been developed to express 3D images, but have not been successfully use in practise. In order to apply 3D display to promising applications such as advertisements and games, we developed a 42" 2D/3D switchable display. It has characteristics that do not require special glasses for 3D images, uses multi-view technology for improving 3D viewing characteristics, and has a 2D/3D switching function to express dynamic 3D contents as well as conventional 2D contents.

  • The dual-stream based stereoscopic 3D broadcasting standard was developed in 2011. EBS broadcasted 3DTV experimental service according to this standard in April 2012. Dual-stream based 3DTV broadcasting is service-compatible and backward-compatible, so viewers who have legacy 2D HDTV can watch the broadcasting content as 2D. And 3DTV viewers can select watching 2D or 3D. Since 3D content production is not usual yet for terrestrial broadcasters, only some particular programs in specific periods will be broadcasted as 3D at the initiatory stage. For it, stable viewing condition is strongly required for both 2D viewers and 3D viewers. This paper suggests broadcasting transmission system structure and effective switching scheme for stable 2D and 3D viewing conditions in the case of dual-stream based terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting.

  • The isolation of the series PIN diode switch is restricted by the parallel capacitance of PIN diode and the switch driver circuit limits switching speed of PIN diode switch. To overcome these problems, a high isolation and high switching speed Pin diode switch is proposed adapting the parallel resonant inductance and TTL compatible switch driver circuit. The measurement results of the 3 GHz PM diode switch show 1 GHz frequency band, less than 1.5 dB insertion loss, 65 dB isolation, more than 15 dB return loss and less than 30 ns switching speed. In particular the 3 GHz PIN diode switch using the parallel resonant inductance exhibits the improvement of isolation by 15 dB.

  • The transient fields generated during switching operations in a Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) are associated with high frequency components in the order of few tens of MHz. These transient fields leak into the external environment of the gas-insulated equipment and can interfere with the nearby electronics. Measurements of the transient fields are thus required to characterise the interference caused by switching phenomena in such substations. In view of the above, E-field emission measurement during a switching operation has been carried out for a 245 kV GIS model, using a resonant dipole antenna and D-dot sensor. The characteristics of the E-fields i.e., frequency spectra and their levels have been analysed and are reported in the paper. Suitability of the measurements has been confirmed by comparing frequency spectra of the measured and computed transient fields.

  • In this paper, a small and effective attitude estimation system for a humanoid robot was developed. Four small inertial sensors were packed and used for inertial measurements(3D accelerometer and three 1D gyroscopes.) An effective 3D pose estimation algorithm for low cost DSP using an extended Kalman filter was developed and evaluated. The 3D pose estimation algorithm has a very simple structure composed by 3 modules of a linear acceleration estimator, an external acceleration detector and an pseudo-accelerometer output estimator. The algorithm also has an effective switching structure based on probability and simple feedback loop for the extended Kalman filter. A special test equipment using linear motor for the testing of the 3D pose sensor was developed and the experimental results showed its very fast convergence to real values and effective responses. Popular DSP of TMS320F2812 was used to calculate robot's 3D attitude and translated acceleration, and the whole system were packed in a small size for humanoids robots. The output of the 3D sensors(pitch, roll, 3D linear acceleration, and 3D angular rate) can be transmitted to a humanoid robot at 200Hz frequency.

  • Switching mode amplifiers have been studied widely for use at microwave frequency range, and the class E amplifier which is a type of switching mode amplifier offers very high efficiency approaching 100%. In this paper, 2.4GHz microwave class E amplifier with 66% power added efficiency (PAE) and 17.6dBm output has been linearized for use at wireless LAN transmitter, and digital predistortion technique with look up table is applied. With -3dBm input power of wireless LAN, measured output spectrum can meet the required IEEE 802.11g standard spectrum mask, and the digital predistortion output spectrum has been improved by 5dB of ACPR at 20MHz offset from center frequency.

  • In this paper, we design tracking filter that get frequency range from 30 to 88 [MHz] for FH/BFSK communication system. This filter use for switching componet BJT. as result, This tracking filter has a insertion loss of 0.77~1.93[dB]. And it has a cutoff characteristic 30/3[dB] shape factor of 3.9~6.2[dB]. The tracking filter satisfy its specification

  • Sintering oxide which was prepared by sintering at $1200^{\circ}C$ the mixture of ${\gamma}$-$Fe_2O_3$ and $Sb_2O_3$ in 2 : 1 mol ratio, showed 1st electrical switching and stable 2nd switching when D.C. voltage was applied. This electrical switching mechanism was known to be thermal mechanism from dependence of environmental temperature of threshold Voltage(Vm), Current(Im) and the conductivity of the current filament of the sintering oxide.
