This paper describes the development of the database system for tunnel management of Korea National Railways. In order to make the system both target independent and accessible by KNR network or modem, authors developed the system as a web-based application using java language and IBM DB2 database. The system includes the searching, reporting, graphical representation and statistical functions for tunnel data, maintenance records and checking records. Later, the system will be extended to include the process for tunnel state rating and maintenace prioritiy decision-making.

Development of air navigation and avionics technologies led to solve the problems that conventional ATM system had. The International Civil Aviation Organization developed the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBU) initiative in order to harmonize global ATM planning and technology upgrades and urged to implement the recommendations for the member States. The ASBUs provide the road map to assist air navigation service providers in the development of their individual strategic plans and investment decisions. In this paper, the operational concepts in 2 performance improvement areas, Airport Operations and Globally Interoperable System and Data in ASBUs, have been summarized. In Airport Operations area the new management technologies and required systems are presented for optimizing the traffic flow in airport area and terminal airspace. Data format standards and required systems presented for information integration and usage of the new system under Globally Interoperable System and Data area.

Recently, as interest in eco-friendliness grows, the supply of hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles (EVs) for improving fuel efficiency of automobiles is rapidly expanding. The average daily energy consumption of electric vehicles is less than 20 [%] of the total ESS capacity of the vehicle, and research on additional functions using the ESS of the vehicle is urgently needed to expand the supply of electric vehicles. V2H(Vehicle to Home), like V2G(Vehicle to Grid), includes the concept of cooperating with system stabilization using ESS of electric vehicles. In addition, it includes various operations that can realize home welfare, such as uninterrupted power supply in case of power outage at home, and power supply for home DC devices. Therefore, in order to expand the supply of eco-friendly electric vehicles, it is urgently required to develop a V2H system with various functions that can realize home welfare. In this paper, we propose a V2H system with a CLLC resonant converter and a non-isolated step-up converter that can solve different impedance and resonant frequencies depending on the power transfer direction. The proposed V2H system is 6 [kVA] applicable to 150-450 [V], the voltage range that can use the ESS voltage for electric vehicles, and is designed with a capacity that can handle instantaneous electricity use at home. In addition, in order to verify the feasibility, an experiment by Psim simulation and prototype production was performed.

In this paper, the adaptive interference cancellation system (ICS) in order to cancel the feedback signal in the wireless communication system is proposed. We cancel the interference with the attenuation signal corresponding to the feedback signal and estimate the feedback signal by using Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) algorithm. The proposed scheme showed a better performance of interference cancellation in the measurement results.

Draw textured yarns have many differences with yarn quality as well as wearing, due to the bulkiness, thermal and physical properties according to the false twist texturing system. In order to improve such property, many studies have been accomplished for developing good textured yarns and their fabrics, but these have been essentially obtained by experimental data or mathematical analysis. This study surveyed various properties of DTY produced by false twist texturing system, namely pin and crossed-belt false twist insertion systems. And 6 yarn specimens of 2 group(pin twisting type, belt twisting type) were measured and analysed.

This paper proposes a DGPS (Differential GPS) mobile reference station. The proposed systems can provide user with real-time correction data when the internet connention is possible. Since the GPS receiver part and network hardware are designed in a module, it can be easily moved and fixed. In order to verify the proposed system, several tersts have been carried out and the test results show the validity of the proposed system.

This study presents a real neutral floor surface temperature in floor panel heating system(Ondol). The Ondol heating system can keep the constant temperature. However, the actual temperature when a person sits on a floor can be different from the surface temparature of a floor it self. The contents of this study are as follows : 1) measuring the spatial distributions of thermal conditions 2) the thermal sensation vote of residents is taken in order to investigate the relation between thermal condition and human thermal sensation in sedentary condition 3) estimating the neutral floor surface temperatures by measuring floor surface temperatures.

In this study, we developed a proto-type RTP equipment by using tungsten halogen lamps. The system has been designed utilizing the result of the numerical analysis of the reactor. In order to analyze the system performance, experiments for activation of implanted atoms and oxidation process were performed. As a result, we obtained 2-3% uniformity in sheet resistance and 2-4% uniformity in oxide thickness, although after a long time process at high temperatures slip lines and warpage of the wafer have been observed.
