Synthesis of New Cyanomethyl-1,3,5-triazine Derivatives (새로운 Cyanomethyl-1,3,5-triazine 유도체들의 합성)

  • New 6-cyanomethyl-1,3,5-triazine derivatives 4 containing amino, n-propylamino, isopropylamino and anilino groups at 2-and 4-position on the 6-cyanomethyl-1,3,5-triazine ring were prepared from 6-chloro-l,3,5-triazine derivatives 2' and 3 with tert-butyl cyanoacetate. The derivatives of 6-chloro-l,3,5-triazine 2' and 3 containing amino, n-propylamino, isopropylamino and anilino groups at 2- and 4-position on the 6-chloro-1,3,5-triazine ring were prepared from 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine as well as 4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-triazine derivatives 2 with amine derivatives.

The Synthesis and Properties of Asymmetrically Substituted 4,4'-Bis(1,3,5-triazine-6-yl)diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic Acid Derivatives as Fluorescent Brighteners [II]

  • In this work, the key intermediate, 4-amino-4'-(2-amino-4-anilino-1,3,5-triazine-6-yl)-aminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid, was prepared from 4-(2-amino-4-anilino-1,3,5-triazine-6-yl)amino-4'-nitrostilbene-2,2'-disulfonate by using Tin(II) chloride as the reducing agent. Using this intermediate, nineteen new asymmetrically substituted bistriazinylstilbene fluorescent brightening agents were synthesized. Chemical structures of the obtained compounds 5a-s were analyzed by proton NMR spectrum. The physical properties of the new compounds 5a-s were characterized by fastness test and whiteness measurement test and the obtained data were compared to measurements obtained from CI 86.

Preparation of $\beta$-Cyclodextrinized Cellulosic Fiber and Deodouring Property ($\beta$-시클로덱스트린화 셀룰로오스 섬유의 제조 및 소취성)

  • $\beta$-Cyclodextrine/benzoic acid complex was prepared and reacted with cyanuric chloride (2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine). Identification of complex formation and reaction was checked by FT-IR, UV-Vis, and EDX. By reacting this material with cotton fiber, the deodourant fiber was prepared. The deodourizing property was evaluated by the concentration changes of aqueous ammonia solution after flowing ammonia gas through the column titled with deodourant fiber prepared. The deodourizing property was increased with an increase of concentration of $\beta$-cyclodextrine unit in the fiber. In the case of $\beta$-cyclodextrine/benzoic acid complex, the deodourzing property was much increased, comparing with the $\beta$-cyclodextrine only. It was considered to be the binding of aamonia gas caused by benzoic acid in the complex.
