In these notes we introduce a numerical function which allows us to describe explicitly (and nonrecursively) the Betti numbers, and hence, the Hilbert function of a set Z of three fat points whose support is an almost complete intersection (ACI) in ${\mathbb{P}}^1{\times}{\mathbb{P}}^1$. A nonrecursively formula for the Betti numbers and the Hilbert function of these configurations is hard to give even for the corresponding set of five points on a special support in ${\mathbb{P}}^2$ and we did not find any kind of this result in the literature. Moreover, we also give a criterion that allows us to characterize the Hilbert functions of these special set of fat points.

Object: The purpose of this study was to select priority points for soil management using the location of groundwater and to suggest this method for soil contamination surveys. Method: Groundwater impact range was set to an area of 100 to 500 meters from the center point of agricultural groundwater wells. Data on industrial complex and factory areas, areas of stored or used ores and scrap metals, areas associated with waste and recycling, and traffic-related facilities areas were collected and checked for whether they fall within the groundwater impact range. Longitude and latitude coordinates of these data were mapped on the groundwater impact range using QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System). Results: Considering the groundwater impact range, the points were selected as follows: 589 points were selected from 6,811 factories and 259 points were selected from 1,511 recycling business points. Traffic-related facility areas were divided between gas stations, bus depots, and auto mechanics. Thirty-four points were selected from 149 bus depots and 573 points were selected from 6,013 auto mechanic points. From the 2,409 gas station points, 323 were selected. Conclusion: Contaminated soil influences groundwater and crops, which can harm human health. However, soil pollution is not easily identified, so it is difficult to determine what has occurred. Pollution must be prevented beforehand and contaminated soil found. By selecting and investigating soil contamination survey points in consideration of the location of groundwater wells, we can safely manage water resources by preventing groundwater contamination in advance.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to 1. measure the skin resistance of jeong-acupuncture points using compound electrode, and 2. develop a database of skin resistance based on age and gender. Methods : The skin resistance of jeong-acupuncture points on the hands and feet of 191 healthy volunteers was measured using a specially designed compound electrode. A constant current of $5{\mu\textrm{A}}$ was applied to the measurement points and the skin resistance was obtained using amplifier, A/D converter and Acknowledge software program, Results : 1. ANOVA statistical analysis showed no significant differences between jeong-acupuncture points on hands and feet. 2. Paired samples t-test showed no significant differences between Yin-Yang meridian points, 3. When the data were sorted by gender, factor analysis showed statistically significant differences between male and female groups in all measured points except for left foot. 4. Based on the factor analysis, a significant relationship between the skin resistance and age was found in feet. However, no such relationship was found in hands. Conclusions : There are differences in skin resistance according to sex and age, Further clinical research is necessary using compound electrode method.

Objectives & Methods : This study aims to investigate the application of the principle of the mutual communication between organ and bowel(臟腑相通) on Tong's acupuncture. We classified the frequently used Tong's acupuncture points according to the principle of the mutual communication between organ and bowel. Results & Conclusions : Considering the locations and indications of the most frequently used points among the 740 master Tong's acupuncture points, we could reach the following conclusions; 1. The chief virtues of 66 master Tong's acupuncture points could be explained by the principle of mutual communication between organ and bowel. 2. Among the relationships of mutual communication between organ and bowel, the most frequently applied relationship was relationship which applied to 16 master Tong's acupuncture points, and the , , , , and followed. 3. Considering the body regions, 13 out of 66 master Tong's acupuncture points which the relationship of mutual communication between organ and bowel was applied to, were located at the 1-1 region, and the same number at the U region, the others were at the 7-7, 3-3, 2-2, 4-4, 10-10, 6-6, 5-5 regions in the order of the number of the points, and none at the 9-9 region.

The introduction of a world geodetic system for cadastral survey will be started the enactment of the law on survey, hydro-graphical examination and cadastre. However, the cadastral control points are not homogeneous and correspond with national control points because of various reasons. To cope with this problem, the 1,600 high accurate control points, which can be interlocked with national GPS control points, has selected from existing 20,000 cadastral control points. These selected control points were calculated as an accurate world geodetic system and it makes a homogeneous cadastral survey network. Through these measures, for the future carrying out national project, this study will be effectively contributed to establish the cadastral infrastructures for the Korea cadastral reform project.

To understand the marine algal flora on Goheung coast, Korea, marine algae at 8 points were collected from November 2008 to February 2009 and from April to June 2009. Thirty-seven species (2 species of angiosperms, 5 chlorophytes, 12 phaeophytes, and 18 rhodophytes) occurred from fall to winter and 52 species (2 species of angiosperms, 9 chlorophytes, 18 phaeophytes, and 23 rhodophytes) occurred from spring to summer. Commonly occurring species were Ulva pertusa, Sargassum thunbergii, Hizikia fuziformis, and Gelidium amansii, and dominant species at most points were Ulva pertusa, Sargassum thunbergii, and Gelidium amansii. The average of the ratio of total rhodophytes and chlorophytes to phaeophytes ((R+C)/P) was 1.61 in fall to winter and 1.69 in spring to summer, and the average Laminariales/Fucales/Dictyotales (LFD) ratio was 1.14 in fall to winter and 1.18 in spring to summer. These results show that the marine algal flora of Goheung could be considered as temperate. The LFD ratio was fit for showing a feature of algal flora of Goheung. Species diversity index was high at Points 4~6 while low at Points 1 and 8. Detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) showed that the similarity of occurring species at Points 3 and 4 was higher than the other points from fall to winter, whereas the occurred species at Points 1~4 were similar from spring to summer. The average values of ecological evaluation index (EEI) of the investigation points were 6.8 from fall to winter and 6.3 from spring to summer, which means that the ecological environment of the investigation points were middle class and the EEI values of outer sea points were higher than the inner bay points.

The lower flash points and upper flash points of 2-propanol and toluene mixtures were determined by air-blowing method instead of Tag-closed flash point tester. The relations between the flash points and the composition of the mixtures are as follows, $T_{F.L}=4.3182+6.0909X_1$ $T_{F.U}=39.3636-2.9091X_1$ As results, the experimental data and the estimated values from the relations are considerably agreed, and we could plotted the relative diagram between flash points and the explosive range.
