The Design of Digital Human Content Creation System (디지털 휴먼 컨텐츠 생성 시스템의 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose a digital human content creation system. The digital human content creation system works with 3D AI modeling through whole-body scanning, and is produced with 3D modeling post-processing, texturing, rigging. By combining this with virtual reality(VR) content information, natural motion of the virtual model can be achieved in virtual reality, and digital human content can be efficiently created in one system. Therefore, there is an effect of enabling the creation of virtual reality-based digital human content that minimizes resources. In addition, it is intended to provide an automated pre-processing process that does not require a pre-processing process for 3D modeling and texturing by humans, and to provide a technology for efficiently managing various digital human contents. In particular, since the pre-processing process such as 3D modeling and texturing to construct a virtual model are automatically performed by artificial intelligence, so it has the advantage that rapid and efficient virtual model configuration can be achieved. In addition, it has the advantage of being able to easily organize and manage digital human contents through signature motion.

Evaluation of Human Demonstration Augmented Deep Reinforcement Learning Policy Optimization Methods Using Object Manipulation with an Anthropomorphic Robot Hand (휴먼형 로봇 손의 사물 조작 수행을 이용한 인간 행동 복제 강화학습 정책 최적화 방법 성능 평가)

  • 로봇이 사람과 같이 다양하고 복잡한 사물 조작을 하기 위해서 휴먼형 로봇손의 사물 파지 작업이 필수적이다. 자유도 (Degree of Freedom, DoF)가 높은 휴먼형(anthropomorphic) 로봇손을 학습시키기 위하여 사람 데모(human demonstration)가 결합된 강화학습 최적화 방법이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 강화학습 최적화 방법에 사람 데모가 결합된 Demonstration Augmented Natural Policy Gradient(DA-NPG)와 NPG 의 성능 비교를 통하여 행동 복제의 효율성을 확인하고, DA-NPG, DA-Trust Region Policy Optimization (DA-TRPO), DA-Proximal Policy Optimization (DA-PPO)의 최적화 방법의 성능 평가를 위하여 6 종의 물체에 대한 휴먼형 로봇손의 사물 조작 작업을 수행한다. 그 결과, DA-NPG 와 NPG를 비교한 결과를 통해 휴먼형 로봇손의 사물 조작 강화학습에 행동 복제가 효율적임을 증명하였다. 또한, DA-NPG 는 DA-TRPO 와 유사한 성능을 보이면서 모든 물체에 대한 사물 파지에 성공하여 가장 안정적이었다. 반면, DA-TRPO 와 DA-PPO 는 사물 조작에 실패한 물체가 존재하여 불안정한 성능을 보였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법은 향후 실제 휴먼형 로봇에 적용하여 휴먼형 로봇 손의 사물조작 지능 개발에 유용할 것으로 전망된다.

A Test to Compare the Water Resistance Sun Protection Factor of General Water, Artificial Seawater, and Natural Seawater of Sunscreen (자외선 차단제의 일반 물, 인공 해수, 자연 해수의 내수성 차단지수를 비교하기 위한 시험)

  • Sunscreen is a product that protects against ultraviolet rays by blocking and scattering ultraviolet rays, and has now become a daily necessity beyond cosmetics. Applying sunscreen is a common and easy way to prevent skin damage caused by ultraviolet rays. Due to its significance, the evaluation of sunscreen has evolved since its regulation by the FDA in 1978, progressing to standardized methods established by ISO. Additionally, to assess the loss of sunscreen due to activities such as water exposure or sweating, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in Korea and ISO have established protocols for evaluating the water-resistant sun protection factor (SPF). However, existing evaluations of water resistance have been mainly confined to test methods involving plain water, and methods accounting for the impact of seawater during activities like beach leisure, sports, and recreation are yet to be established. Based on the existing guidelines for testing the water-resistant UV protection index, this study compared the water-resistant UV protection index in water, artificial seawater (salt water) and natural seawater (sea water) to evaluate the UV protection index in real-world situations such as marine leisure, sports, and leisure activities. Through these results, we were able to compare the differences between water resistance sun protection index tests in ordinary water, artificial seawater, and natural seawater, and suggest a method for water resistance sun protection index tests using natural seawater.

  • 웰니스 휴먼케어 서비스의 제공은 최근 2010년 이후에 시작되었으며, 이에 대한 효과평가 혹은 서비스 질 평가는 거의 이뤄지지 않고 있다. 활동량계, 심전도계, 식습관 모니터링 앱 등과 같은 신체적 웰니스 측정 장치와 바이브라 이미지, 맥파/호흡 측정기, 코티졸 측정기 등과 같은 정신적 웰니스 측정 장치들이 개발되고 출시되고 있으나, 웰니스 휴먼케어 제품과 서비스 만족도 측정도구가 없어서 개발 제품과 서비스 만족도를 타당성 있게 측정할 수 있는 도구개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실증 대상자 면담과 설문 문항에 대한 관련 전문가 내용타당도 검증을 통해 웰니스 휴먼케어 제품과 서비스 만족도 설문 문항을 개발하였으며, 이를 실증사업 참여자 대상으로 시행한 조사 결과 분석을 제시한다.

  • This study aims to improve the access and retrieval of images and to find a way to effectively generate tags as a tool for providing explanation of images. To do this, this study investigated the features of human tagging and machine tagging, and compare and analyze them. Machine tags had the highest general attributes, some specific attributes and visual elements, and few abstract attributes. The general attribute of the human tag was the highest, but the specific attribute was high for the object and scene where the human tag constructor can recognize the name. In addition, sentiments and emotions, as well as subjects of abstract concepts, events, places, time, and relationships are represented by various tags. The tag set generated through this study can be used as basic data for constructing training data set to improve the machine learning algorithm.

  • This study aimed to identify the influence of soccer star's human brand on attitude and attachment to the club, providing the importance and implications of brand management of star players in the club. Therefore, a non-face-to-face mobile survey was conducted from January 14 to March 5, 2021, and a total of 348 copies of data were used for the final analysis. Data processing used the SPSS (ver.21.0) program to conduct frequency analysis, internal consistency and exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the human brand of a soccer star has been shown to influence the attitude of the club in the order of ethicality, attractiveness, and differentiation. Second, the human brand of a soccer star has been shown to influence the attachment of the club in the order of ethicality, attractiveness, and differentiation.

  • Mobile manipulators are getting lime light in the field of home automation due to their mobility and manipulation capabilities. In this paper, we developed a small size manipulator system that can be mounted on a mobile robot as a preliminary study to develop a mobile manipulator. The developed manipulator has four degree-of-freedom. At the end-effector of manipulator, there are a camera and a gripper to recognize and manipulate the object. One of four degree-of-freedom is linear motion in vertical direction for better interaction with human hands which are located higher than the mobile manipulator. The developed manipulator was designed to dispose the four actuators close to the base of the manipulator to reduce rotational inertia of the manipulator, which improves stability of manipulation and reduces the risk of rollover. The developed manipulator repeatedly performed a pick and place task and successfully manipulate the object within the workspace of manipulator.

  • This study conducted a online survey (URL), DM, , E-mail, etc. were used to sample 371 people using the standard convenience sampling method, and 320 valid samples excluding 51 unfaithful respondents were analyzed by applying causality (SEM). First, the hypothesis was adopted with the influence of positive (+) on the emotional response of the human brand's goods value. Second, the hypothesis was adopted that emotional response has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior. Third, the human brand's goods value has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior, and the hypothesis was partially adopted. Finally, the indirect effect of emotional response in the relationship between goods value and consumption behavior was found to be statistically significant.

A Study on Portable Green-algae Remover Device based on Arduino and OpenCV using Do Sensor and Raspberry Pi Camera (DO 센서와 라즈베리파이 카메라를 활용한 아두이노와 OpenCV기반의 이동식 녹조제거장치에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we implemented an algae removal device that recognizes and removes algae existing in water using Raspberry Pi camera and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) sensor. The Raspberry Pi board recognizes the color of green algae by converting the RGB values obtained from the camera into HSV. Through this, the location of the algae is identified and when the amount of dissolved oxygen's decrease at the location is more than the reference value using the DO sensor, the algae removal device is driven to spray the algae removal solution. Raspberry Pi's camera uses OpenCV, and the motor movement is controlled according to the output value of the DO sensor and the result of the camera's green algae recognition. Algae recognition and spraying of algae removal solution were implemented through Arduino and Raspberry Pi, and the feasibility of the proposed portable algae removal device was verified through experiments.

Implementation of Camera-Based Autonomous Driving Vehicle for Indoor Delivery using SLAM (SLAM을 이용한 카메라 기반의 실내 배송용 자율주행 차량 구현)

  • In this paper, we proposed an autonomous vehicle platform that delivers goods to a designated destination based on the SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) map generated indoors by applying the Visual SLAM technology. To generate a SLAM map indoors, a depth camera for SLAM map generation was installed on the top of a small autonomous vehicle platform, and a tracking camera was installed for accurate location estimation in the SLAM map. In addition, a convolutional neural network (CNN) was used to recognize the label of the destination, and the driving algorithm was applied to accurately arrive at the destination. A prototype of an indoor delivery autonomous vehicle was manufactured, and the accuracy of the SLAM map was verified and a destination label recognition experiment was performed through CNN. As a result, the suitability of the autonomous driving vehicle implemented by increasing the label recognition success rate for indoor delivery purposes was verified.
