The effect of post welding heat treatment conditions on Ti-3Al-2.5V weldment (용접 후 응력제거열처리 조건에 따른 티타늄 합금 용접부 평가)

  • 티타늄 용접부는 수소취성과 잔류응력에 대한 영향을 최소화 하기 위해 용접 후 잔류응력 제거 열처리 작업을 수행하고 있다. 하지만, 현재 항공 분야에 널리 사용하고 있는 규격에 따라 열처리 온도가 다양하게 설정되어 있어 현장에 적용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 이에 규격 별로 대표하고 있는 열처리 조건을 선정하여 열처리 조건에 따른 용접부에 대한 잔류응력, 잔류수소량을 확인하였고, 용접부에 대한 강도와 충격 인성을 확인하였다.

(A Study on the Annealing Methods for the Formation of Shallow Junctions) (박막 접합 형성을 위한 열처리 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Low energy boron ions were implanted into the preamorphized and crystalline silicon substrates to form 0.2${\mu}m$ $p^+-n$ junctions. The rapid thermal annealing(RTA) was used to annihilate the crystal defects due to implantation and to activate the implanted boron ions, and the furnace annealing was employed to reflow the BPSG(bolo-phosphosilicate glass). The implantation conditions for Gepreamorphization were the energy of 45keV and the dose of 3$\times$1014cm-2. BF2 ions employed as a p-type dopant were implanted with the energy of 20keV and the dose of 2$\times$1015cm-2. The thermal conditions of RTA and furnace annealing were $1000^{\circ}C$/10sec and $850^{\circ}C$/40min, respectively. The junction depths were measured by SIMS and ASR techniques, and the 4-point probe was used to measure the sheet resistances. The electrical characteristics were analyzed via the leakage currents of the fabricated diodes. The single thermal processing with RTA produced shallow junctions of good qualities, and the thermal treatment sequence of furnace anneal and RTA yielded better junction characteristics than that of RTA and furnace anneal.

Mild Heat Treatments for Quality Improvement of Fresh-cut Potatoes (열처리가 신선편이 감자 가공품의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Effect of pre- and post-mild heat treatment on quality of fresh-cut potatoes was investigated with the focus on surface color, firmness, phenolics, vitamin C and sensory characteristics. As the pre-heat treatment before cutting of potatoes, dried hot air (DH) and hot water (WH) treatment were conducted at $45^{\circ}C$ for 60 min, respectively. As a post-heat (CH) treatments, potato cubes were dipped into water of $55^{\circ}C$ for 45 seconds after cutting. The potato cubes were packed in 15 cm x 20 cm LDPE pouches $30^{\mu}m$ thick and then stored at $5{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. The respiration rate of fresh-cut potatoes was decreased by mild heat treatment Especially, the rate of cubes treated with DH was decreased by $20\%$ compared to that of the non-heat treated. L value of cubes treated with DH showed higher value than that of others. Firmness and free phenolics had no significant difference between the treatments. The fresh-cut potatoes prepared with non-heat treatment showed higher vitamin C content than that of the heat treated. In sensory visual color, CH treated cubes marked the best quality. Conclusively, mild heat treatment, especially CH treatment, showed positive effect on browning inhibition and quality enhancement of fresh-cut potatoes.

Formation Mechanism of Pores in Ni-P Coated Carbon Fiber Prepared by Electroless Plating Upon Annealing (무전해 니켈-인 도금법을 이용하여 도금된 탄소 섬유의 열처리 과정에서 나타나는 다공성 구조 생성 메커니즘 분석)

  • In the present work, electroless plating was used for coating thin films consisting mainly of Ni and P on carbon fiber. Structural changes appeared upon the post-annealing at various temperatures of the Ni-P film on carbon fiber was studied using various analysis methods. Scanning, a flat surface structure of Ni-P film on carbon fiber was found after electroless plating of Ni-P film on carbon fiber without post-annealing, whereas annealing at $350^{\circ}C$ resulted the formation of porous structures. With increasing the annealing temperature to $650^{\circ}C$ with an interval of $50^{\circ}C$, the pore size increased, but the density decreased. X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed the existence of metallic Ni, and Ni-P compounds before post-annealing, whereas the post-annealing resulted in the appearance of NiO peaks, and the decrease in the intensity of the peak of metallic Ni. Using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), phosphorous oxides were detected on the surface upon annealing at $650^{\circ}C$, and $700^{\circ}C$, which can be attributed to the phosphorous compounds originally existing in the deeper layers of the Ni films, which undergo sublimation and escape from the film upon annealing. Escape of phosphorous species from the bulk of Ni-P film upon annealing could leave a porous structure in the Ni films. Porous materials can be of potential applications in diverse fields due to their interesting physical properties such as high surface area, and methods for fabricating porous Ni films introduced here could be easily applied to a large-scale production, and therefore applicable in diverse fields such as environmental filters.

  • This study investigated the effect of heat treatment conditions not only on the Cr surface crack propagation behaviors but also on the Ni/Cr interfacial reaction characteristics in electroless Ni/electroplated Cr double coating layers on Cu substrate. Clear band layer of Ni-Cr solid solutions were developed at Ni/Cr interface after heat treatment at $750^{\circ}C$ for 6 h. Channeling cracks formed in Cr layer after 1 step heat treatment, that is, heat treatment after Ni/Cr plating, while little channeling cracks formed after 2 step heat treatment, that is, same heat treatments after Ni and Cr plating, respectively, due to residual stress relaxation due to crystallization of Ni layer before Cr plating.

A study on boron and phosphrous doping profile by RTA using 1MeV high energy ion implantaiton (1MeV 고에너지로 붕소(boron)와 인(phosphorus)을 이온주입 시급속 열처리에 따른 도핑 프로파일)

  • p형 실리콘 기판위에 100.angs.의 초기 산화막을 성장시킨 후 붕소(B)와 인(P)을 1MeV 이온주입 에너지로 4.dec. tilting하여 붕소의 도즈량은 1*10/녀ㅔ 13/[cm/sup -2/]까지, 인은 1*10/sup 13/[cm/sup -2]로부터 1*10/sup 14/[cm/sup -2/] 까지 변화시키며 이온 주입하였다. 이온주입 후 RTA 로서 열처리 하였으며, 열처리 시간은 10초에서 40초까지,열처리 온도를 1000.deg.C에서 1100.deg.C까지 변화하였다. 이후 기파낸의 불순물의 프로파일 및 미세 결함의 분포를 분석하기 위하여, SIMS, SRP, XTEM 분석을 실시하였고, 이를 monte-carlo 모ㅓ델로서 시뮬레이션하여 비교하였다. SIMS 분석 결과 열처리 온도와 시간이 증가할수록 접합깊이가 증가하였고, 프로파일이 넓어짐을 볼수 있다. SRP 측정에서 붕소는 주해거리 (Rp)값은 1.8.mu.m~1.9.mu.m, 인의 경우는 1.1.mu.m~1.2.mu.m의 주행거리 (Rp) 값이 나타났다. XTEM 분석결과 붕소의 경우 열처리에 전후에도 결함을 볼수 없었고, 인의 경우 열처리 이후에 실리콘 결정내부에 있던 산소(O)와 인(P)우너자의 pinning효과에 의해 전위다이폴을 형성하여 표면근처로 성장함을 볼수 있었다.

  • It was the electrical properties of IGZO prepared by the annealing in a vaccum and an atmosphere conditions to research the current-voltage characteristics. The IGZO film annealed in a vaccum became an amorphous structure but films annealed in an atmosphere condition had a crystal structure. Because of the content of oxygen vacancies during the annealing processes was changed, and the annealing in an atmosphere condition increased the oxygen vacancy in IGZO. Oxygen vacancy in IGZO increased the current and then it was observed the Ohmic contact at IGZO annealed in an atmosphere conditions. However, the IGZO prepared in a vaccum showed the Schottky contact.

  • 원자층증착법으로 제조한 청색 CaS:Pb 박막 형광체에 대한 열처리 및 전자빔 조사 효과찰 연구하였다. CaS:Pb 형광 박박의 열처리는 500 - $700^{\circ}C$ 온도범위에서 급속 열처리 공정으로 수행하였고, 1 kV, $20{\mu}A/cm^{2}$ 조건의 전자빔을 연속적으로 조사하여 열화를 가속시킨 후 처리 전, 후의 재료 및 cathololuminescence (CL) 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 원자층증착법으로 성장한 CaS:Pb 박막은 화학적 조성과 결정성이 우수하여 후속 열처리에 의해 발광특성이 크게 증가하는 경향을 보이지 않았으며, 전자빔에 의한 열화 정도는 판매되고 있는 형광체에 비하여 오히려 적었다. CL 강도가 초기값의 50%로 감소할 때까지 전자빔을 조사한 후에도 주목할만한 결정성 및 조성의 변화는 관찰되지 않았으나 전자빔 조사에 의해 표변에 두께 10 nm 내외의 탄소오염층이 형성됨을 알 수 있었다.

Selective Cu-MOCVD by Furnace Annealing and N$_{2}$ Plasma Pretreatment (furnace 열처리와 질소 플라즈마 처리에 의한 유기화학증착법을 이용한 선택적 구리 증착)

  • The selective chemical vapor deposition techniques for Cu metallization were studied. For enhancing the selectivity, furnace annealing and N$_{2}$ plasma were treated on patterned TiN/BPSG prior to the copper deposition. As a result, Cu did not deposited lead to suppressing the nucleation on BPSG singificantly. With the increasement the plasma treatment temperature, copper nucleation on BPSG was suppressed mote effectively, From TOF-SIMS(Time-of-Flight Secondary ion Mass Spectrometry), it is considered that annealing and N$_{2}$ plasma treatment remove hydroxyl(0-H) group so that eliminating the nucleation site for copper precursor enhance the selectivity.

Effect of Different Processes on Texture of Fermented Cucumber Pickles (열처리조건이 오이지의 질감에 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of different processes or texture of cucumber pickles fermented in 7% NaCl solution were studied. Cucumbers were treated with different processes: control; preheating in 7% NaCl, 0.04M $CaCl_2$ solution ($60^{\circ}C$, 1hr); combination of preheating and post microwave heating (5 min, midium high level, 2450 Mhz); preheating in the solution which was adjusted to pH 8.5. In each process the pH and total acidity of brine solution, total pectin contents in alcohol insoluble solids (AIS), hot water soluble pectin (HWSP) contents and firmness of cucumber pickles were determined at 0, 5, 10, 15 and 25 days of storage periods. Total pectin contents and the firmness of pickles were decreased during 25 days of storage. Control group showed the lowest value and post microwave heating group marked the highest value in total pectin contents and firmness retention of cucumber pickles. The results of this study indicated that total pectin content seems to correlate with the firmness of cucumber pickles. However, HWSP content did not show any correlation with firmness of cucumber pickles. Post microwave heating method could be used to retain firmness of fermented cucumber pickles.
