In this paper, we propose an efficient database system for video retrieval. Using the color spaces, it shows results of user's request. Each color space used following user's selection. We suggest adaptive three color systems for database. Experimental results based on a video database containing 331 shots are included.

최근의 합성음성단위 연결을 통한 음성합성 방법의 잘 알려진 문제점은 연결 부분에서 불연속이 발생한다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 음성을 합성할 때 나타나는 스펙트럼의 불연속을 제거하기 위하여 개선된 스펙트럼 스무딩 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 보다 좋은 스무딩의 결과를 얻기 위하여 음성합성의 단위로는 문맥에 민감한 클러스터링된 다이폰을 사용한다. 스무딩 방법에서는 연결 구간에서의 다이폰 바운더리에서의 양쪽 스펙트럼의 분포를 고려하여 시간에 따라 가중치를 다르게 주어 스무딩을 수행한다. 또한 가중치를 결정할 때 비선형 함수인 B-Spline함수를 사용하여 스무딩을 수행하여 보다 자연스러운 스펙트럼을 생성 할 수 있었다.

전주한옥마을 간판은 간판의 모양, 글씨체 등이 매우 다양한 모습을 띄고 있다. 따라서 이러한 다양한 모습의 간판을 인식하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 크기, 회전, 위치, 이동에 불변한 특징을 가지는 SIFT를 이용하여 간판 인식 시스템을 스마트폰에 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 간판을 인식하여 가게 이름, 홈페이지, 전화번호, 가게 내부 사진, 가게 설명 등의 정보를 사용자에게 제공해 준다.

It is often required to display 3-D data onto a 2-D screen and to examine and verify validity of data. LIDAR data is a good example. They represent 3-D spatial information in text format. However, it is very difficult to examine data on a 2-D screen. A 3-D data viewing system has been implemented and tested in order to solve the problem.

LiDAR data are acknowledged as very useful method to represent 3-D geographical information. In this paper aquad tree has been utilized to represent the 3-D spatial information. Compression algorithm is implemented based on a given threshold. The efficiency of compress is very high with large threshold values.

In this paper, the dynamic modeling and a tip-position controller of a single-link flexible manipulator are developed. To design the controller of a flexible manipulator, at first, it is required to obtain the accurate dynamic model of manipulator describing both rigid motion and flexible vibration. For this purpose, FEM(Finite Element Method) and Lagrange approach are utilized to obtain the dynamic model. After obtaining the dynamic model of a single-link manipulator, a controller which computes the input torque to perform the desired trajectory is developed using neural network.

A 14-year-old, spayed female Labrador Retriever breed dog with housesoiling problem was presented to the Animal Behavior Clinic, College of Veterinary Medicine, Gyeongsang National University. Housesoiling problem was diagnosed as geriatric incontinence based on the questionnaire and interview on the dog. Pharmacological treatment was recommended. Phenylpropanolamine was prescribed at a dosage of 1.19 mg/kg PO q48h for 3 weeks. Housesoiling problem caused by geriatric incontinence disappeared after the treatment.
