The main objective of this study was to establish optimum condition of wet grinding process for manufacturing microparticulated seaweed calcium. Process parameters such as concentration of forming agent, rotor speed, bead size, feed rate, and grinding time were adapted during wet-grinding of seaweed calcium. The particle size range of the raw seaweed calcium was 10-20 $\mu$m. The calcium particles were reduced to under 1 $\mu$m as nano scale after grinding. Gum arabic was suitable for forming agent and 5%(w/v) concentration was the most effective in grinding efficiency. A wet-grinding process operated at 4,000 rpm rotor speed, 0,4 mm bead size, and 0.4 L/hr feeding rate, respectively, produced less than 600 mm(>>90%)-sized particles. In batch systems, 8 cycles of grinding showed higher efficiency, but 20 min of grinding time in continuous processing was more efficient to reduce particle size than the batch processing. Based on the result, the optimum conditions of the wet grinding process were established: operation time of 20 minutes, rotor speed of 4,000 rpm, bead size of 0.4 mm, feed rate of 40 mL/min and 30% mixing ration with water. The size of the resulting ultra fine calcium particles ranged between 40 and 660 mm.
This study focuses on the simulation of wet flue gas desulfurization process for improving the production of gypsum by the utilization of low-grade limestone. At present, high-grade limestone with a $CaCO_3$ content of 94% is used for producing merchantable gypsum. In modeling process, a lot of reactions are considered to develop model. First, the limestone dissolution is simulated by RSTOIC model. Second, SOx absorption and crystallization is used by RCSTR model. Finally the gypsum is separated by using SEPERATORS model. Modeling steps make it easy to reflect further side reactions and physical disturbances. In optimization condition, constraints are set to 93% purity of gypsum, 94% desulfurization efficiency, and total use of limestone at 3710 kg/hr. Under these constraints, the mass flow of low-grade limestone was maximized. As a result, the maximum blending quantity of low-grade limestone for 2,100 kg of high-grade limestone that satisfies constraints is about 1,610 kg.

As the shipbuilding and offshore plant industries grow larger and more complex, their maintenance and inspection systems become more important. Recently, maintenance and inspection systems based on augmented reality have been attracting much attention for improving worker's understanding of work and efficiency, but it is often difficult to work with because accurate matching between the augmented model and reality information is not. To solve this problem, marker based AR technology is used to attach a specific image to the model. However, the markers get damaged due to the characteristic of the shipbuilding and offshore plant industry, and the camera needs to be able to detect the entire marker clearly, and thus requires sufficient space to exist between the operator. In order to overcome the limitations of the existing AR system, in this study, a markerless AR was adopted to accurately recognize the actual model of the pipe system that occupies the most processes in the shipbuilding and offshore plant industries. The matching methodology. Through this system, it is expected that the twist phenomenon of the augmented model according to the attitude of the real worker and the limited environment can be improved.
Radiation therapy using flattening filter free beam can prevent beam attenuation caused by flattening filter and can improve treatment efficiency. However, accurate dose control is not established for nonuniform iso dose distributions. In this study, curved dosimeter based on photoconductive material $HgI_2$ was fabricated and its reproducibility and linearity were evaluated at 6 MV photon energy to verify its performance. In order to show the usefulness of the curved measurement, the signals measured on the flat substrate and the curved substrate were compared in the flattening filter free beam using the acrylic filter. As a result, the reproducibility of the unit cell dosimeter was evaluated as SE 0.613%, and the linearity was evaluated as R-sq 0.9999. The usability evaluation of the array curve dosimeter demonstrated its usefulness by indicating a curvature error rate of 11.073%p and a reduced error rate.

In automotive application, customers are demanding high efficiency and various functions for convenience. The demand for these automotive applications is steadily increasing. In this study, it has been studied the analysis of heat flow to improve the PCB(printed circuit board) heating performance of WPC (wireless power charger) recently developed for convenience. The charging performance of the wireless charger has been reduced due to power dissipation and thermal resistance of PCB. Therefore, it has been proposed optimal PCB design, layout and position of electronic parts through the simulation of heat flow analysis and PCB design was analyzed and decided at each design stage. Then, the experimental test is performed to verify the consistency of the analysis results under actual environmental conditions. In this paper, The PCB modeling and heat flow simulation in transient response were performed using HyperLynx Thermal and FloTHERM. In addition, the measurement was performed using infrared thermal imaging camera and used to verify the analysis results. In the final comparison, the error between analysis and experiment was found to be less than 10 % and the heating performance of PCB was also improved.
Point cloud is a set of points for representing a 3D object, and consists of geometric information, which is 3D coordinate information, and attribute information, which is information representing color, reflectance, and the like. In this way of expressing, it has a vast amount of data compared to 2D images. Therefore, a process of compressing the point cloud data in order to transmit the point cloud data or use it in various fields is required. Unlike color information corresponding to all 2D geometric information constituting a 2D image, a point cloud represents a point cloud including attribute information such as color in only a part of the 3D space. Therefore, separate processing of geometric information is also required. Based on these characteristics of point clouds, MPEG under ISO/IEC standardizes V-PCC, which imitates point cloud images and compresses them into 2D DCT-based 2D image compression codecs, as a compression method for high-density point cloud data. This has limitations in accurately representing 3D spatial information to proceed with compression by converting 3D point clouds to 2D, and difficulty in processing non-existent points when utilizing 3D DCT. Therefore, in this paper, we present 3D Discrete Cosine Transform-based Point Cloud Compression (3DCT PCC), a method to compress point cloud data, which is a 3D image by utilizing 3D DCT, and confirm the efficiency of 3D DCT compared to V-PCC based on 2D DCT.
Klaus Schwab's discussion on the Fourth Industrial Revolution provides a framework for predicting the direction of legal technology development. Technological convergence, which has emerged as the core concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has a significant effect on legal technology. In particular, various new technologies, such as legal chatbots and platforms, are being introduced to enhance efficiency and accessibility in the legal field. However, legal technology is still in its early stage, with institutional improvement needed to vitalize the industry. In this paper, we first specify the concept and classification of legal technology in Chapter 2, followed by trends and limitations in Chapter 3 and ways of vitalizing legal technology in the future in Chapter 4. To invigorate legal technology development, it is necessary to put in place legal regulatory measures that stipulate the active disclosure of legal data, such as precedents, and make free use of such measures. In the law, many issues, such as the safety of artificial intelligence, personal information protection, and ethical standards, will be discussed in the future. Therefore, via this paper, we hope to promote the formation of social consensus and prepare countermeasures, such as legislative measures.

In a wave power generation system, the overtopping system is known as an overtopping wave energy converter (OWEC). The performance of an OWEC is affected by wave characteristics such as height and period because its power generation system is sensitive to those characteristics; these, as well as wave direction, depend on the sea. As these characteristics vary, it is hard for the OWEC to produce power in a stable manner. Therefore, it is necessary to find an appropriate shape for an OWEC, according to the characteristics of the sea it is in. This research verified the effect of the design of the OWEC ramp on the hydraulic efficiency using the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) particle method. A total of 10 models were designed and used in simulations performed by selecting the design parameters of the ramp and changing the attack angle based on those parameters. The hydraulic efficiency was calculated based on the rate of discharged water obtained from the analysis result. The effect of each variable on the overtopping performance according to the shape of the ramp was then confirmed. In this study, we present suggestions for determining the direction for an appropriately shaped OWEC ramp, based on a specific sea area.
Although the technology for prediction or analysis using artificial intelligence is constantly developing, a black-box problem does not interpret the decision-making process. Therefore, the decision process of the AI model can not be interpreted from the user's point of view, which leads to unreliable results. We investigated the problems of artificial intelligence and explainable artificial intelligence using Blockchain to solve them. Data from the decision-making process of artificial intelligence models, which can be explained with Blockchain, are stored in Blockchain with time stamps, among other things. Blockchain provides anti-counterfeiting of the stored data, and due to the nature of Blockchain, it allows free access to data such as decision processes stored in blocks. The difficulty of creating explainable artificial intelligence models is a large part of the complexity of existing models. Therefore, using the point cloud to increase the efficiency of 3D data processing and the processing procedures will shorten the decision-making process to facilitate an explainable artificial intelligence model. To solve the oracle problem, which may lead to data falsification or corruption when storing data in the Blockchain, a blockchain artificial intelligence problem was solved by proposing a blockchain-based explainable artificial intelligence model that passes through an intermediary in the storage process.

Recently, the Shield TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) construction method is used gradually to increase at the Tunnel Constructin site. However the design and application of the Shield TBM were carried out without sufficient investigation of the ground conditions in the construction site. Due to insufficient understanding to the corresponding equipment is frequently occurring unexpected construction cost and extension of a construction period. The most suitable alternative construction method was determined by analyzing tunneling rate, duration, construction cost of shield machine and tunneling data of alternative method. The result of the case study is suggested as follows. First, the accurate soil exploration on the construction site should be preceded to prevent from tunneling stoppage and schedule delay. Second, the most suitable selection of the shield machine to the ground conditions of the construction site should be executed based on the investigation. Third, the best alternative method for boring of hard rock section is 'hard rock blasting after open cut and cover method'.
