Exploratory Analysis of Cyber Community for Elementary School Children (초등학생을 위한 사이버 커뮤니티의 교육적 활용 방안에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Cyber school community appears to have essentially emerged from the needs for interactive communication, which would not be easy in normal school environments. Message board, chatting rooms and e-mails allow students to connect with each others, share news, find ways to help study, or post personal stories. The purpose of this paper is to give a set of guidelines, based upon the direct observations and questionnaire analysis, for utilizing the cyber school community of elementary school children. The following conclusions are provided; the appropriate ate goal needs to be set before the cyber school community is to be developed; the balance between the off-line and on-line interaction needs to be maintained; actions for motivating students to participate in the cyber community need to be taken by teachers.

  • CdS는 $CuInSe_2$계, CdTe계 이종접합 태양전지의 junction partner로 많이 이용되어 왔다. CdS는 전극으로 쓰일 뿐만 아니라 빛을 투과시키는 창문층으로 사용되어 높은 변환 효율을 나타낸다. 이종접합 태양전지에서 창문층은 가시광 영역에서 광투과율이 높고, 전기적으로 비저항이 낮아야 에너지 손실 없이 태양광을 광흡수층까지 투과시킬 수 있다. CdS 박막은 CBD법(solution growth technique), 진공증착법(vacuum evaporation), 스퍼터법(sputtering), 스프레이 열분해법(spray pyrolysis), 전착법(electrodeposition)에 의해 제조되고, 그 중 용액성장법(solution growth technique)이라고도 불리는 CBD법(chemical bath deposition)을 이용하여 CdS 박막을 제조하였다. CBD법은 다른 방법에 비해 제조 과정이 비교적 간단할 뿐만 아니라 제조 단가가 저렴하고, 넓은 면적의 박막 제조가 가능하며 재현성도 우수하다는 장점이 있다. CdS 박막을 제조하기 위한 cadmuim 이온공급원으로는 $CdSO_4$를 사용하였고 sulfur 이온공급원으로는 $SC(NH_2)_2$를 사용하였다. CBD법에서 박막의 물성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인인 sulfur 이온공급원과 cadmium 이온공급원의 비, 용액의 온도, pH를 변화시켜 CdS 박막을 제조하였다. 각각의 조건에 의해 제조된 CdS의 박막의 두께는 Tencor P-1을 이용하여 측정되었고, UV-Visible spectrometer를 이용하여 파장에 따른 광투과율을 측정하였다. CdS 박막의 결정 구조를 조사하기 위해 X선 회절분석(XRD ; X-ray diffraction)을 하였고, AFM(Atomic Force Microscope)으로 표면 특성을 관찰하였다.

Variable Block-size Motion Estimation based on Merging Procedure (병합 방법에 의한 가변 블록 움직임 예측)

  • 본 논문에서는 가장 최근의 동영상 표준인 H.264에서 가변 블록 움직임 예측 시 인접한 블록과의 상관성을 분석하여 병합 절차를 추가함으로써 매크로블록의 최종 모드를 결정하는 시간을 줄이기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. H.264에서는 매크로블록의 모드를 결정하기 위하여 총 7가지 모드를 사용하여 움직임 예측은 실시함으로써 부호화 효율을 극대화시킨 반면 이러한 움직임 예측이 부호화기의 복잡도를 높이는 주요 요인으로 현재 커다란 단점으로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 $8{\times}8$ 움직임 예측이 끝난 후 인접한 두 블록 사이의 거리론 임계값(Threshold)과 비교하여 다음 모드의 움직임 예측의 실시 여부를 먼저 절정함으로써 필요한 움직임 예측에 소비되는 시간을 단축시켰다. 여기서 실험 조건으로 명시하고 있는 것은 대표적인 단일모드 중에서 수행 성능이 가장 좋은 $8{\times}8$ 모드를 기본모드로 사용하고 병합 시 $16{\times}16$ 모드 쪽으로 상향식(bottom-up) 방법의 병합을 수행해 나아간다 모의실험을 통해 수행 성능과 전체 부호화 시간 측면을 본 논문에서 제안한 방법과 4가지 모드인 $16{\times}16,\;16{\times}8,\;8{\times}16,\;8{\times}8$ 모드를 모두 사용한 경우, $8{\times}8$ 단일모드를 사용한 경우를 비교하였다. 실험 결과 $8{\times}8$ 단일모드보다 수행 성능이 향상되었으며, 시간 단축 면에서 제안한 방법이 4가지 모드인 $16{\times}16,\;16{\times}8,\;8{\times}16,\;8{\times}8$ 모드를 모두 사용한 경우와 $8{\times}8$ 단일모드를 사용한 경우보다 계산 시간이 감소하였음을 확인하였다.행중인 MoIM-Messge서버의 네트워크 모듈로 다중 쓰레드 소켓폴링 모델을 적용하였다.n rate compared with conventional face recognition algorithms. 아니라 실내에서도 발생하고 있었다. 정량한 8개 화합물 각각과 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 스피어만 상관계수는 벤젠을 제외하고는 모두 유의하였다. 이중 톨루엔과 크실렌은 총 휘발성 유기화합물과 좋은 상관성 (톨루엔 0.76, 크실렌, 0.87)을 나타내었다. 이 연구는 톨루엔과 크실렌이 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 좋은 지표를 사용될 있고, 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 크실렌 등 많은 휘발성 유기화합물의 발생원은 실외뿐 아니라 실내에도 있음을 나타내고 있다.>10)의 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 얻었다. 결론: $^{18}O(p,n)^{18}F$ 핵반응을 이용하여 친전자성 방사성동위원소 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 생산하였다. 표적 챔버는 알루미늄으로 제작하였으며 본 연구에서 연구된 $[^{18}F]F_2$가스는 친핵성 치환반응으로 방사성동위원소를 도입하기 어려운 다양한 방사성의 약품개발에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.었으나 움직임 보정 후 영상을 이용하여 비교한 경우, 결합능 변화가 선조체 영역에서 국한되어 나타나며 그 유의성이 움직임 보정 전에 비하여 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 결론: 뇌활성화 과제 수행시에 동반되는 피험자의 머리 움직임에 의하여 도파민 유리가 과대평가되었으며 이는 이 연구에서 제안한 영상정합을 이용한 움직임 보정기법에 의해서 개선되었다. 답이 없는 문제, 문제 만들기, 일반화가 가능한 문제 등으로 보고, 수학적 창의성 중 특히 확산적 사고에 초점을 맞추어 개방형 문제가 확산적 사고의 요소인 유창성, 독창성, 유연성 등에 각각 어떤 영향을 미치는지 20주의 프로그램을 개발, 진행하여 그 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 개방형 문

Also, this study tried to find the effective relation between economical & social paradigm which is the result of social informationalization with intensive knowledge, and buying determination of customer, And, this study tried to present guideline of effective brand image and brand special Quality that is affected to buying determination of customers together. The model of Positive analysis had two types. The first model studied the mutual relation between economical/social change factors and special quality of brand. And, the second model studied the mutual relation between the cause of special quality of brand and formation of brand image through regression analysis. Therefore, the construction of sensitive brand image for forming brand must be requested. The sensitive brand image is highly related to preference of sensibility, and it must be based on mind identity & visual identity. And, mind identity must have creation of value, satisfaction, combination of community, personal preference, etc. Visual identity must have esthetic order, and originality of molding, etc. Namely, brand image must form the accommodation of era change, personality & sensibility satisfaction, the effectiveness of service, etc., in order to create effective brand image.

  • The objective of the present case study is to analysis how effectively Hilti, which is a former family firm owned and managed by a family in Liechtenstein as a tiny european country, a land sandwiched between Switzerland and Austria, has made a global market success. Liechtenstein has $160km^2$ land and about 36,000 residents. Despite its small size of country, however, Hilti Corporation doesn't view its location as a liability in its business strategy. Hilti is a global leading provider of professional power tools in building, mining, civil engineering etc. Also, Hilti is a firm with a clear vision to become the leading industry partner for construction professionals and building installations through customer focus, high quality equipment, and tools and systems specially designed for specific jobs. This study considered Hilti as a good case, which verifies that born-conditions, endogenous factors according to Michael Porters diamond model does not decisive role more for international competitiveness of firms. Lessons from Hilti are that in order to obtain and sustain the global competitiveness of small and medium-sized firms in Korean manufacturing sector under high production cost, they have to do actively innovative. Also they can give to customers newer and higher customer-values than competitors in abroad give. The case summarizes that the strategy of Hilti for the global market success is comprised of several factors: Technological and organizational innovation, and a clear customer-value oriented business strategy and its implementation. Innovation and its integration into marketing for the customers value creation is central to Hilti's Success. The present case study is expected to provide insights and implication for many firms in Korea that are seeking to secure global presence and market success.

Point Symbols on Tourist Maps: Cognitive Characteristics with Levels of Symbolization and Preference (관광지도 점기호의 상징수준과 선호도에 나타난 인지특성 연구)

  • This research deals with cognitive characteristics of point symbols on the current tourist maps in terms of the communication theory in considering levels of symbolization and those of preference. The levels of symbolization are examined on the basis of the meaning of point symbols between map-makers and map-users. Preferences of point symbols are investigated by the tourist objects. As a result, when point symbols are expressed in conciseness, the meaning and interpretation about those symbols are highly accorded. And the point symbols that have familiarity by visual experience are preferred. Also, the higher symbolical levels symbols have, the more likely they are preferred. Through that fact, familiarity from the visual experience, conciseness in expression, concreteness of figures expressed in maps, and representativeness of visualized properties were deduced as factors that affect preferences. Those factors work to affect preference complicatedly, but familiarity is prior to simplicity in preferences. Likewise, ways that visualize information, contents that are expressed as images and familiarity in terms of cognitive characteristics make a relative difference in preferences and the levels of symbolization. On the basis of those cognitive characteristics, visual complexity and ambiguity should be removed and the higher symbolical level of point symbols for efficiency of map-reading should be developed.

Priority Analysis of Cause Factors of Safety Valve Failure Mode Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP를 활용한 안전밸브(PSV) 고장모드의 Cause Factors 우선순위 분석)

  • The safety valve (PSV) is a safety device that automatically releases a spring when the pressure generated by various causes reaches the set pressure, and is restored to a normal state when the pressure falls below a certain level. Periodic inspection and monitoring of safety valves are essential so that they can operate normally in abnormal conditions such as pressure rise. However, as the current safety inspection is performed only at a set period, it is difficult to ensure the safety of normal operation. Therefore, evaluation items were developed by finding failure modes and causative factors of safety valves required for safety management. In addition, it is intended to provide decision-making information for securing safety by deriving the priority of items. To this end, a Delphi survey was conducted three times to derive evaluation factors that were judged to be important in relation to the Failure Mode Cause Factor (FMCFs) of the safety valve (PSV) targeting 15 experts. As a result, 6 failure modes of the safety valve and 22 evaluation factors of its sub-factors were selected. In order to analyze the priorities of the evaluation factors selected in this way, the hierarchical structure was schematized, and the hierarchical decision-making method (AHP) was applied to the priority calculation. As a result of the analysis, the failure mode priorities of FMCFs were 'Leakage' (0.226), 'Fail to open' (0.201), 'Fail to relieve req'd capacity' (0.152), 'Open above set pressure' (0.149), 'Spuriously' 'open' (0.146) and 'Stuck open' (0.127) were confirmed in the order. The lower priority of FMCFs is 'PSV component rupture' (0.109), 'Fail to PSV size calculation' (0.068), 'PSV Spring aging' (0.065), 'Erratic opening' (0.059), 'Damage caused by improper installation and handling' (0.058), 'Fail to spring' (0.053), etc. were checked in the order. It is expected that through efficient management of FMCFs that have been prioritized, it will be possible to identify vulnerabilities of safety valves and contribute to improving safety.

Determination of Rock Cleavages Using AMS (Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility): a Case Study on the Geochang Granite Stone, Korea (대자율이방성(AMS) 분석을 통한 석재 결의 파악: 거창 화강석에서의 사례 연구)

  • In granite quarry, stones are generally quarried along easily separating planes called as 'rock cleavage'. Because orientation and characteristics of the rock cleavage are directly involved with easy quarrying, it is the most important factor on selecting a direction of digging. Using AMS (anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility), we attempt to interpret rock fabrics in Geochang Granite Stone (JS, SD, AR, GD, BW, MD quarry) and discuss about determination of rock cleavages and correlation between the rock fabrics and cleavages. Based on mean susceptibility, thermo-susceptibility curves, and hysteresis parameters, Ti-poor MD and/or PSD magnetites are the main contributor to AMS of the granite stones. The systematic magnetic foliations with sub-vertical dip angle are developed in the whole granite quarries. In most of the granite quarries, the magnetic foliations are significantly consistent with grain plane. In the BW quarry, which has higher $P_J$ values than the others, the magnetic foliations coincide exceptionally with rift plane. These results suggest that rock cleavages in granite stone are related to rock fabrics meaning shape and spatial arrangement of crystals. Magnetic fabrics analysis using AMS method, therefore, can be a quantitative and effective tool for determination of rock cleavages in granite quarry.

Productivity Effect of Firms' External R&D and the Moderating Effect of Firm Size (기업 외부 연구개발투자의 생산성효과와 기업규모의 조절효과)

  • The present study analyzed the effect of firms' external research and development (R&D) on corporate productivity, while investigating the moderating effect of firm size on the external R&D-productivity nexus. In the empirical analysis, we estimated South Korean manufacturing firms' total factor productivity (TFP) using the firm level data drawn from the Survey of Business Activities (Korea National Statistical Office) for the years 2006-2015. Thereafter, focusing on the role of external R&D and its interaction with the firm size in determining firms' TFP, the productivity function was estimated as well. To this end, we used ordinary least squares (OLS) and quantile regression to highlight the heterogeneous impacts of external R&D by companies' productivity level. Empirical results confirmed that firms' external R&D significantly enhanced corporate productivity in all manufacturing industries, from high-tech to low-tech. The moderating effect of firm size in determining the productivity effect of external R&D was not as prominent as in the case for internal R&D, which exhibited some degree of the size premium in the productivity-enhancing effect. These results suggest that regardless of the firm size, external R&D can be an important channel for corporate productivity improvement, and can be a particularly effective strategy for SMEs with relatively limited internal R&D capacities.

A Study on the Improvement of the Accuracy of Photovoltaic Facility Location Using the Geostatistical Analysis (공간통계기법을 이용한 태양광발전시설 입지 정확성 향상 방안)

  • The objective of this study was to improve the accuracy of calculation and estimation of solar radiation and duration of sunshine, which are the most important variables of photovoltaic power generation in deciding the location of photovoltaic facilities efficiently. With increasing interest in new and renewable energies, research on solar energy is also being conducted actively, but there have not been many studies on the location of photovoltaic facilities. Thus, this study calculated solar duration and solar radiation based on geographical factors, which have the most significant effect on solar energy in GIS environment, and corrected the results of analysis using diffuse radiation. Moreover, we performed ordinary kriging, a spatial statistical analysis method, for estimating values for parts deviating from the spatial resolution of input data, and used variogram, which can determine the spatial interrelation and continuity of data, in order to estimate accurate values. In the course, we compared the values of variogram factors and estimates from applicable variogram models, and selected the model with the lowest error rate. This method is considered helpful to accurate decision making on the location of photovoltaic facilities.
