  • 최근 언론매체나 인터넷을 통해 자주 접하게 되는 용어 중 하나가 '유비쿼터스'이다. 각종 서비스, 도시건설, 아파트 등 다양한 대상에 'Ubiquitous' 또는 'U-'라는 수식어를 붙이는 것을 흔히 접할 수 있으며, 마치 매우 편리한 환경을 상징하는 키워드처럼 인식되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 현재 우리나라에서는 정보화도시(U-City 또는 디지털시티라고도 함) 건설 추진 및 그에 대한 논의가 활기를 띠고 있다. 이를 통한다면 우리나라는 건설 및 IT강국이라는 핵심역량을 바탕으로 내수경기 부양뿐만 아니라 지역 간 불균형을 해소할 수 있고, 국내성공 사례로 글로벌 시장개척을 위할 수 있으며 넓게는 동북아 비즈니스 허브구축의 발판이 마련될 수 있겠다. 이밖에도 정보화도시(U-City)건설은 많은 산업화의 가치를 가지고 있기 때문에 정부와 지자체, 또한 기업체에서 기술 개발 및 시범사업에 박차를 가하고 있다. 그러나 새로운 도시유형으로서 정보화도시(U-City)의 개념은 아직까지 제도적으로 정립되어 있지 않을 뿐만 아니라 도시건설 시 어떤 특별한 유인책도 마련되어 있지 않다. 그리하여 지방자치단체, 공기업 등 추진주체마다 전개되는 양상이 다르며 이에 수반되는 다양한 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 정보화도시(U-City)의 성공을 위해서는 글로벌 인재들이 유인할 수 있는 매력을 갖추어야 하며 사회적 투자를 지속시킬 수 있는 효과적 방안이 필요하겠고 핵심기술과 이의 활용방안이 마련되어야겠다. 그러나 무엇보다도 정보화도시 건설관련 법, 제도, 사회시스템 정비가 선행되어야하겠다.

A Study on Brand Personality Image, Shopping Value, Customer Satisfaction and Recommendation Intention in the IT Environment (IT환경에서 온라인쇼핑몰의 브랜드 개성이미지와 쇼핑가치, 고객만족 및 추천의도에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempts to explore the connectivity among brand personality, shopping value, customer satisfaction and recommendation intention by deriving brand personality image factors of online shopping malls. The analysis results are as follows. First, the brand personality of shopping malls were derived as 'vital', 'familiar', 'credible', 'competent', and 'sophisticated.' Second, shopping value was derived as hedonistic and practical shopping values. Third, it was shown that brand personality of shopping malls has significant impacts on shopping value. In addition, customers' shopping value, customer satisfaction and recommendation intention have significant impacts on each other. It is expected that this study can provide basic information for constructing differentiated marketing strategies in the domestic online shopping malls whose competition is heating up.

  • In this paper, performance evaluation of the common channel signalling module which performs the message transfer part function of the CCITT No.7 in TDX 1 exchange is carried out. Simulation model is developed using SLAM II network nodes according to signalling mode and transrated into SLAM II statement, . The simulation results are compared with experimental results and analyzed in order to get the maximum throughput, processing delay time, bottleneck eiement. Also, in order to get the optimized structure of the CSM, simulation is performed on the vanous case, namely, change of the number of STB, change of STG bus or B bus speed, change of CSIOB, processing speed, change of the number of transfered message per one poll.

Luminous Characteristics of Urban Street Between Day and Night (도시가로의 주.야간 빛환경 특성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • 도시에서의 빛의 연출은 도시의 축을 부각시키고, 가로의 아이덴티티를 연출함으로서 도시의 인지도를 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 야간의 경관은 인공조명을 이용한 빛의 연출로 주간과는 다른 빛환경 경관을 연출할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 도시 가로 중에서 상업가로와 주거가로를 대상으로 주 야간의 빛환경 특성을 분석하여, 가로의 용도에 따른 주야간의 빛환경 차이를 고찰하였다. 이를 위하여 두 가로의 일정길이에 대하여 수평면조도, 스칼라 조도, 휘도 및 색온도를 측정하였으며 측정결과를 용도별, 주 야별로 비교하여 분석하였다. 측정한 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. (1)수평면조도의 측정 결과, 주간의 주거가로에 비하여 상업가로가 28.8[%] 높게 나타났으며 야간의 경우 87.2[%] 높게 나타났다. (2) 스칼라조도의 측정결과, 스칼라조도의 특성상 전반적으로 균일한 분포를 보이며, 수평면 조도와 마찬가지로 주간에 비하여 야간에 84[%] 높은 값이 측정되었다. (3) 휘도의 측정 결과, 주간 배경에 대한 대상의 휘도비는 상업과 주거가로가 1:2이하로 나타나 조화로운 가로경관을 연출하며, 야간배경에 대한 대상의 휘도비는 상업가로는 1:17로 활기 있는 경관을 연출하고 주거가로는 1:5로 가로경관 이미지에 적당한 강조효과가 나타났다. (4) 색온도의 측정 결과, 주간의 배경은 맑은 하늘의 색온도를 나타냈으며 대상은 상쾌하고 활동적인 이미지의 색온도를 나타내었다. 또한 야간의 경우 상업가로와 주거가로 모두 나트륨 등의 영향을 받아 전반적으로 따뜻한 느낌의 색온도가 연출되었다.

A Finite Impulse Response Fixed-lag Smoother for Discrete-time Nonlinear Systems (이산 비선형 시스템에 대한 유한 임펄스 응답 고정 시간 지연 평활기)

  • In this paper, a finite impulse response(FIR) fixed-lag smoother is proposed for discrete-time nonlinear systems. If the actual state trajectory is sufficiently close to the nominal state trajectory, the nonlinear system model can be divided into two parts: The error-state model and the nominal model. The error state can be estimated by adapting the optimal time-varying FIR smoother to the error-state model, and the nominal state can be obtained directly from the nominal trajectory model. Moreover, in order to obtain more robust estimates, the linearization errors are considered as a linear function of the estimation errors. Since the proposed estimator has an FIR structure, the proposed smoother can be expected to have better estimation performance than the IIR-structured estimators in terms of robustness and fast convergence. Additionally the proposed method can give a more general solution than the optimal FIR filtering approach, since the optimal FIR smoother is reduced to the optimal FIR filter by setting the fixed-lag size as zero. To illustrate the performance of the proposed method, simulation results are presented by comparing the method with an optimal FIR filtering approach and linearized Kalman filter.

  • With Jewelry industry is becoming active with gradual increase of transactions of pearl and diamond. The pearl market of recent times the size of that market was magnified because the pearls of various type are imported. The necessity of new design development and grasps properties of pearl is demanded clearly because like that. This research analyzed the cultivated brown pearl and black pearl which is sold from market with gemological Analysis. As result, it is ascertained the dyed fresh water pearl. I suggest the design which uses the chocolate brown color pearl beads which the consumers prefer and another pearl design which is concept of wedding gift through CAD/CAM works.

An Optimal Fixed-lag FIR Smoother for Discrete Time-varying State Space Models (이산 시변 상태공간 모델을 위한 최적 고정 시간 지연 FIR 평활기)

  • In this paper, we propose an optimal fixed-lag FIR (Finite-Impulse-Response) smoother for a class of discrete time-varying state-space signal models. The proposed fixed-lag FIR smoother is linear with respect to inputs and outputs on the recent finite horizon and estimates the delayed state so that the variance of the estimation error is minimized with the unbiased constraint. Since the proposed smoother is derived with system inputs, it can be adapted to feedback control system. Additionally, the proposed smoother can give more general solution than the optimal FIR filter, because it reduced to the optimal FIR filter by setting the fixed-lag size as zero. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed smoother by comparing with an optimal FIR filter and a conventional fixed-lag Kalman smoother.

  • Degenerative brain diseases including Alzheimer's diseases, Parkinson's diseases increase in frequency with age. They are amongst the most costly and devastating diseases to patients and their families. Therefore developing therapies for degenerative brain diseases is of the highest priority. Recently therapeutics for these diseases have undergone scrutiny by many clinical trials according to the advances of cellular and molecular neurobiology. This review is focused on studies investigating the current therapeutic strategies already undergone different stage of clinical trials and recent R&D trend by nations through patent analysis on treatments for degegerative brain diseases.

A Technique for Caecostomy in the Chicken (닭에 있어서의 Caecostomy (맹장으로 튜브를 삽입하는) 기술)

  • A caecostomy technique (surgery for inserting tube into caeca) was developed to quantify urine backflow into the caeca. Two days post-surgery, caecostomised chickens were flushed with 20 ml of warm saline solution every other day for 10 days. After surgery birds temporarily lost appetite and activity, but they were restored gradually in a few days. The incision healed within 10 days post-surgery. Excreta were collected daily from caecal tubing and cloaca by surgical attachment of polyethylene collection vessels to the chickens. Post-mortem examinations ascertained that the caeca were intact around the Latex tubing.

QoS guaranteed I-MRSVP Protocol for Supporting Integrated Mobility in Mobile Computing Environments (이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 통합 이동성을 지원하는 QoS 보장형 I-MRSVP 프로토콜)

  • RSVP was published as a resource reservation protocol to guarantee QoS for realtime applications in wired network environments. As mobile application services in wireless network environments are more popular, QoS guaranteeing problem becomes an important issue in mobile computing environments. Therefore, the researches about cooperation between RSVP and Mobile IP supporting mobility in mobile computing environments are activating today. In this paper, we propose I-MRSVP(Integrated-Mobile RSVP), a QoS guaranteed resource reservation protocol supporting the integrated mobility in mobile computing environments. I-MRSVP protocol supports the integrated mobility providing interoperability between Mobile IP-based macro cells and Cellular IP-based micro cells. To minimize resource reservation overheads, it provides efficient resource reservation functions by using the signal strength based predictive resource reservation scheme.
