Since the Intelligent Building was first introduced in early 1980s, It has been studied and designed by related technical experts as it was called by the name of intelligent Building, High-tech Intelligence Building, High-capacity Building, Intellectual Building, etc. Despite the need for new concept as the relation between global environment and architecture has become an issue on a full scale since 1990s and with the development of high technology, former concept is maintained without modification or complement. Especially, attempt to combine industrial technology with architecture is essential to Intelligent Building, therefore frequent opportunity of self-innovation according to the development of technology is necessary. Due to the rarity of the high-technology and its high cost, it was adopted to large-scale construction, however, nowadays, almost all kinds of buildings are getting designed with intelligent-technology. Therefore we can expect that this trend will be accelerated by evolution of technology and will position as a major stream of future architecture along with environment-friendly architecture. Through this process, we should fully be aware of the importance of the several intelligent skin technology to protect global environment and to set future direction in architecture.

과거 1세기를 통해 볼 때, 건축재로써 콘크리트의 범용적 선정우위는 향후 1세기도 다른 건축재로 대체될 가능성이 없지만, 환경친화적이고 인간공학적 요소를 강조하는 최근의 주거환경과 함께, 건축주는 회색 일변도의 획일화된 도시화로 발생된 상자형의 빌딩 숲과 각종 시설물에서 탈피하고픈 욕구를 해결하기 위해 환경 친화적이고 고기능이 강조된 제품을 적용하여 쾌적한 주거환경과 생활공간를 창조하고자 다양하게 시도하고 있다. 이러한 시대적인 욕구를 충족하기 위한 용도와 기능의 제품은 다양한 형태로 환경친화적인 디자인, 기능, 용도로 개발되고 그 기능도 잘 홍보하여 적용되고 있으나 일부 제품은 이러한 변화에 대응하지 못하고 사양되고 있는 것도 사실이다.(중략)

The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences of residents' and experts' consciousness to the environment-friendly apartment housing in chung-ju city. The contents of this research consists of two main parts. The first part is to select the influential planning factors of the environment-friendly apartment housing based on the case study of 38 housing samples and the inquiry of precedent researches. The second part is to analyze the differences of residents' and experts' consciousness to the planning factors of the environment-friendly apartment housing, in chung-ju city. This research will contribute to the establishment of the site planning methods which increase the quality of residential environment in apartment housing.

The purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction and important planning factors for the environment-friendly apartment complex for sustainable development. For this purpose, the survey has been conducted to graduate students, architects and research experts in the field. The basic concept of planning factors far environment-friendly apartment complex are energy saving, resources saving, minimizing environment pollution, natural harmony, regional identity and pursuit of residents's health & amenity.

The main purpose of this study is to define the characteristics of emvironmental-friendly design which is found on in the planning of apartment housing complex. For this purpose, the subject of analysis were focused on the plans which had been authenticated an apartment housing complex development of Green Buildings. In conclusion, the characteristics of environmental-friendly design in the of apartment housing complex which are analysed through this study can be summarized as follows: It is shown that most plans hardly used the designs items such as 'preserving geographical feature' , 'use of substitutive sources' while the application ratio of 'making streamlets' , 'artificials afforestations' , 'making pedestrain road and bicycle road' is highest. this analysis means many planners and designers depends on only a few design elements when they plan apartment housing complex. it is because they don't have a correct understanding of environmental-friendly development.

The purpose of this study was to propose ubiquitous housing environment based on older residents' needs for ubiquitous(UT) home services. For this purpose, at the previous study which was the first stage of this study, UT home services by each elderly household based on spouse, income level, and health status were identified and this study finally proposed UT home services by each elderly household type according to residents' level of needs for UT home services. One to one interview with a structured survey questionnaire and illustration was implemented and 204 older residents who were composed of one of six elderly household types were responded. Among 6 types of elderly households, type 2 and 6 were the groups which had higher needs for various kinds of UT home services. Economic status and their health status were the key factors to determine their needs for UT home services. Type 4 and 7 were the groups to express their lower needs for UT home services due to their lower income level and good health condition. Ultimately, two floor plans for type 4 and 5 elderly households were developed to show applicable UT home services in each room of the house.

Considering the present development situation of domestic apartment complexes, the development of environment-friendly apartment complexes is very important issue in Korea. At this point of time, it is very meaningful to understand the domestic development trend and the actual condition of environment-friendly apartment complexes and examine various problems about this and the possibilities fer development. Thus the purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction and pertinent planning factors or the environment-friendly apartment complex for sustainable development. It is believed that the role of the related aspects such as administration, construction companies, designers and residents must be redefined in order to manage such problem. Planning factors for environment-friendly apartment complex should be developed systematically and more fit to the natural environment and residents in the aspect of district and community.
