  • 온도의 변화에 따라 계절이 뚜렷하게 구분되는 지역에서 VOC (volatile organic compound, 휘발성 유기화합물)의 계절적 농도는 겨울에 농도가 높고 여름에 낮은 거동을 나타낸다. 이러한 농도 경향에서는 단지 겉으로 나타나는 농도의 절대치로는 계절적 농도 거동에 영향을 주는 요인들을 파악하기 어렵다. 이 연구에서는 측정된 농도가 지니고 있는 계절적 특성을 유추하기 위한 간접적 방법으로 주요 성분들의 농도비를 이용하였다. (중략)

  • 고온의 산업공정에서 발생하는 에어로졸 입자들은 많은 기본입자(primary particle)들로 이루어진 불규칙한 사슬구조를 가진다 (Matsoukas and Friedlander, 1991). 이러한 비구형 프랙탈 입자들의 거동은 구형 입자들과 비교할 때 큰 차이를 보인다. 프랙탈 입자들의 부피는 충돌반경의 거듭제곱으로 나타낼 수 있으며, 프랙탈 차원이라 불리는 그 지수는 1에서 3 사이의 값을 가진다. 자유분자영역에서의 브라운 응집에 대한 해석해는 Lee et al.(1990)에 의해 제시된 바 있으나, 이는 구형입자를 가정한 결과였고, 비구형 프랙탈 입자의 거동을 해석하려 할 때는 이로 인한 오차가 발생하게 된다. A Study on the Behaviour of High Temperature Corrosion of Fe-22Cr-5Al-X(X=Zr,Y) (Fe-22Cr-5Al-X(X=Zr,Y)합금의 고온 부식거동에 관한 연구)

  • Fe-22Cr-5AI-X(X=Zr, Y)합금을 1143K, 고온 황화(P$s_{2}$=1.11x$10^{-7}$atm, P$O_{s}$ =3.11x$10^{-20atm}$) 및 황화/산화 (P$s_{2}$=8.31x$10^{-8}$atm, P$O_{s}$ =3.31x$10^{-18atm}$) 환경의 복합가스 분위기에서 1-30시간동안 노출하여 합금표면에 형성된 부식층을 관찰하여 SEM/EDS로 분석하였다. Fe-22Cr-5AI합금은 고온 부식환경에서 부식 생성물의 성장은 포물선법칙을 따르고 주요 성분은 결함이 많고 다공질인 철과 크롬의 황화물[(Fe, Cr)Sx]이므로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다. Zr을 1wt%첨가한 Fe-22Cr-5AI합금의 고온 부식거동은 Y을 1wt%첨가한 합금과 비슷한 거동을 나타내었다. 황화환경에서는 Cr의 선택 황화에 의한 크롬 황화물(CrS)이 생성되고 노출시간의 경과에 따라 (Fe, Cr)Sx나 (Cr, Fe)Sx 등의 황화물의 성장으로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다. 그러나 황화/산화환경에서는 초기에는 알루미늄산화물(A $I_{2}$ $O_{3}$)및 지르코늄산화물(Zr $O_{2}$)등이 생성되어 보호적이었으나 15시간이후 부터 (Fe, Cr)Sx나 (Cr, Fe)Sx 의 황화물의 성장으로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다.

  • In order to assess time-dependent behaviors of the high-strength concrete that applied in actual FCM bridges with various curing environments, the shrinkages of air-dried, sealed, and moist 100${\times}$100${\times}$400 mm prism specimens were measured. And the compressive creep test of 3 and 28 days aged concrete in the tap water and 10% CaCl$_2$ solutions were carried out, then results were compared with traditional test results of air-dried and sealed specimens. Time-dependent behaviors of the concrete that according to curing circumstances between sealed and moist specimens show remarkable differences not only on the shrinkage but also on the creep. Hence there need some reconsiderations to the traditional creep test manners that predicting the creep and shrink age of actual concrete structures.

  • This paper was studied on the corrosion behavior of STS 304 for gas boiler in the condensed water, the electrochemical polarization test of STS 304 for gas boiler in the condensed water was carried out. And the corrosion behavior of STS 304 was considered. The main results are as following: 1) As corrosion environment is acidified from neutrality, the polarization resistance of STS 304 decreases and the corrosion potential is less noble. 2) The corrosion reaction mechanism of STS 304 is cathodic control. 3) As corrosion environment is acidified, the passive potential range of STS 304 decreases. Also, the passive current density of STS 304 increases.

  • The propulsion systems such as upper stages of launch vehicles, orbiters, spacecrafts have to operate in the zero gravity environment. Because the flight condition where the vehicle undergoes is different from the normal gravity state, many studies have been being in progress. Fluid behavior in the zero gravity condition is differently shown in the normal gravity state because the importance of the intermolecular force, such as adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension is enlarged. In this paper, we investigate the characteristic of fluid behavior and describe effects and problems on the liquid propulsion system due to these fluid behavior. We also check which studies are in progress in order to solve these problems.

  • Generally, slope behavior is analyzed by 2-dimensional creep model. Creep behavior shows the deformation variation as time goes by without stress increment. Convention 2-dimensional creep analysis does not have the term of stress variation, it means creep analysis could not figure out the relationship of shear strength variation according to the stress variation and displacement. The slope weight and shear strength is directly related and interlocked to the safety variation and displacement of slope, therefore, this phenomenon could be treated and analyzed as combining the hysteresis and creep, the iteration of this process will result in the slope safety. Furthermore, the combined analysis will be the slope analysis considering shear stress, displacement and shear strength with time variation. In real case, because the variation of shear stress and strength happen at the same time, they should be changed into safety factor which is function of them. This paper shows the 3-dimensional variation of unit weight of soil with hybrid analysis considering creep and hysteresis on the seepage and drainage of rainfall, futhermore variations of shear stress and strength which make the safety factor change.
