  • 본 고는 한국상품문화디자인학회 제40호 논문집에서 발췌한 것으로 학회의 동의 아래 게재함을 밝힌다. 최근 무역환경 변화에 따라 경쟁력이 열악한 국내 농산물 시장은 혼란이 가중되고 있으며, 시장이 세분화되고 고객의 욕구가 다양해지며 농산물 제품도 품질, 기능, 가격 등의 경쟁력만으로는 더 이상 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보할 수 없다. 급속도로 변화하는 사회 환경과 시장 변화에서 소비자의 구매 욕구를 충족시키고 기존 농산물과 차별화된 독창성을 부각시키기 위해 농산물 마케팅이 중요 과제로 연구되고 있다. 또한 농업 마케팅 분야에서 포장디자인이 소비자의 구매 욕구를 유발시키는 중요한 요소로 부각되며 제품 경쟁력을 확보하는데 필수적이라는 인식이 광범위하게 확산되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 농업 생산물 중계란 포장디자인 개발을 중심으로 소비자가 기억할 수 있는 브랜드네이밍, 구매 욕구를 유발시킬 수 있는 포장디자인 콘셉트를 제시하고자 한다. 특히 온라인 판매용으로 개발되는 계란 포장디자인은 브랜드네이밍이 매우 중요하며 유통과정에서 제품의 운반, 보호를 위한 기능까지도 고려하여 하기 때문에 조형성, 기능성, 심미성, 합목적성으로 제작, 설계된 디자인 방안을 제언하고자 한다.

  • 최근 각광을 받고 있는 RFID 기술은 기존의 바코드를 대체하여 상품 관리를 네트워크화 및 지능화 함으로써 유통 및 물품 관리뿐만 아니라 보안, 안전, 환경 관리 등에 혁신을 선도할 것으로 전망되며, 이전에 존재하지 않았던 거대한 새로운 시장을 형성할 것으로 기대된다. 이러한 RFID 기술은 사물의 고유한 ID를 단순히 인식하는 읽는 기능중심에서 사물의 이력 정보를 관리할 수 있는 읽고 쓰기 기능, 그리고 전자 태그들이 자신의 고유 정보뿐만 아니라 온도, 습도, 압력 등 주변의 정보까지 감지하는 센싱 기능을 가지도록 발전할 것이다. 이와 같이 기존의 ID 획득만 가능한 태그에 외부 환경 정보를 습득할 수 있는 센서와 자체 전원 공급을 위한 박형 전지(film battery)가 추가된RFID 태그를 ‘센서 태그(smart active label 혹은 RFID sensor tag)’라고 부르며, 그방식은 크게 반능동형 방식(semi-passive 혹은 semi-active)과 능동형 방식(active)으로 구분된다. 본 고에서는 현재 국내외에서 활발히 연구 개발되고 있는 반능동형 센서 태그 기술 동향과 센서 태그 관련 국제 표준화 동향에 대해서 알아본다.

  • Oukjuk becomes to known to the people and valuates due to the importance of the effect of the medicine. Known as taoist hermit plant, Oukjuk tea has called as a Solomon's Seal Tea in the western countries. Dissimilarly from other herb teas, it contains a high percentage of minerals. Because of the utility value of this, people used to use Oukjuk as an oriental medical treatment for various kinds of the condition of illness as for nutritive food or tonic material. According to the records, a sage of old or people seeking after truth had enjoyed the tea very much. In spite of these all effects, public has only a superficial understanding of the matter, Comprehending the problems, this study analyses ways and means of the functional packaging for the Solomon's Seal tea. In this research, the most problems came out with the quality of the products and the level of their packaging which is not variously in forms and not properly developed in materials and designs. As a conclusion the paper pointed out the importance of keeping the traditional high quality in product and having an appeal to packaging for customer's needs.

Implementation of Smart Shopping Cart using Object Detection Method based on Deep Learning (딥러닝 객체 탐지 기술을 사용한 스마트 쇼핑카트의 구현)

  • Recently, many attempts have been made to reduce the time required for payment in various shopping environments. In addition, for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, artificial intelligence is advancing, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices are becoming more compact and cheaper. So, by integrating these two technologies, access to building an unmanned environment to save people time has become easier. In this paper, we propose a smart shopping cart system based on low-cost IoT equipment and deep-learning object-detection technology. The proposed smart cart system consists of a camera for real-time product detection, an ultrasonic sensor that acts as a trigger, a weight sensor to determine whether a product is put into or taken out of the shopping cart, an application for smartphones that provides a user interface for a virtual shopping cart, and a deep learning server where learned product data are stored. Communication between each module is through Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, a Hypertext Transmission Protocol network, a You Only Look Once darknet library, and an object detection system used by the server to recognize products. The user can check a list of items put into the smart cart via the smartphone app, and can automatically pay for them. The smart cart system proposed in this paper can be applied to unmanned stores with high cost-effectiveness.

정책토론회 - 건축설계의 국제경쟁력 확보와 전문화 방안

  • 우리 협회는 지난 11월 26일 오후 2시 협회 대강당에서 '건축설계의 국제경쟁력 확보 및 전문화 방안'을 주제로 토론회를 개최하였다. WTO출범과 건축설계시장개방 등 급격한 대내ㆍ외적 환경변화에 처해 있는 우리 건축계의 국제경쟁력 확보 방안을 마련하기 위해 열린 이날 토론회에서는 경쟁력 확보를 위해 건축설계사무소마다 다양한 전문분야를 확보하고, 건축설계 생산성 향상을 위해 설계업계와 구조, 설비 등 관련 전문분야가 협력체제를 구축해야 하며, 건축의 상품성과 문화예술성이 함께 고려된 건설관련 법안이 마련돼야 한다는 주장이 제기됐다. 이날 서울시립대 최찬환교수는 '건축설계의 경쟁력 확보 방안'이란 주제발표를 통해 해외건설업계의 국내진출에 대응하기 위해서는 설계사무소가 전문성과 효율성을 확보해야 한다고 강조하면서 전문영역을 크게 주거, 상업시설, 공공시설, 교육문화시설, 사회복지시설, 교통 및 운수시설 등으로 구분하였다. 최교수는 또 외국업체에 의한 국내시장 잠식을 막고 우리가 해외에 진출하기 위해서는 해외건설업체와 협력해 정보와 기술, 경험 등을 지원받아야 하고 R&D에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 해야한다고 강조했다. 이어 '건축설계의 전문화'에 대해 주제발표를 한 강원대 박경립 교수는 국내 건설관련문제점 개선과 대외경쟁력 강화를 위해 현재 입법추진되고 있는 건설산업기본법이 건축설계의 독자성과 전문성을 고려하지 않고 있다고 지적하면서 이에 대한 보완필요성을 제기하였다. 박교수는 또한 건축설계분야가 갖고 있는 전문성과 함께 '건축문화'라는 사회문화적 측면의 중요성이 인식돼야 한다며 건축의 상품성과 문화예술성이 함께 고려된 건설관련 법안이 마련돼야 한다고 지적했다. 박교수는 이밖에도 사회발전에 따른 새로운 전문영역의 개발로 실내 설계와 도시설계를 예로 들었으며 정보화에 맞게 고도의 전문성을 바탕으로 Network체계를 구축하고 그 핵심은 건축사협회에 정보Network를 구축하여 활용하는 것이라고 제안했다. 한편 주제발표 후에는 약 3시간여에 걸쳐 이문보(동국대 교수), 손세관(중앙대 교수), 이병담(현대산업개발 부사장), 김인호(국방부 건설기술과장), 유경철(삼육건축사사무소 대표), 이관영(본 협회 이사)씨 등 건설ㆍ건축관계자들이 참가한 종합토론이 이어졌다. 이 자리에서는 사회의 인식에 앞서 건축계 내부적으로 전문성과 효율성의 확보에 나서야 한다는 의견과 함께 무한경쟁속에서 우리 건축설계의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있다는 다양한 의견들이 제기되었다. 본지에서는 이번 토론회의 주제발표 내용을 요약 정리하여 게재한다.

  • For changes in the distribution structure these days, consumer demand is moving rapidly from offline to online. The consumers' mentality to purchase products conveniently is reflected in this phenomenon. Also for agricultural products, safety to protect contents, brand and design which can provide credibility to consumers are recognized as most important than ever. Especially, strawberry is thin-skinned so that the quality of product may deteriorate even with weak impact and shaking, so it is significantly influenced by the structural packaging or material. Also, strawberry is frequently distributed through direct trading, it is the reality that the package design of strawberry is less competitive than that of other products due to inadequate environments of commercial farms. That is, the demand of strawberry increases everyday but the strawberry package cannot fulfill the needs of producers and consumers. In order to reinforce competitiveness in strawberry sales, it is urgent to carry out fundamental studies regarding the development of package. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to supplement and improve issues arising from the usage of current strawberry package. Through the analysis of strawberry package elements (shape, material, design) and understand the points of improvement sought by producers and consumers through IPA MAP (importance, satisfaction level) analysis.

A Study on Fair Trade Perception and Purchase Behavior of University Students (대학생의 공정무역에 대한 인식과 구매행동 유형에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting the purchase of Fair Trade products and to segment consumer which were typed according to the fair trade consumption competency, attitude and ethical consciousness of the University students. As a result, there are 4 type consumers, general type, indifferent type, individualism type, and fair trade practice type. Factors that directly affect the purchase experience of Fair Trade products are knowledge, willingness and interest in fair trade. In the end, education should be provided through fair education and ethical consumption through systematic education, and outside of school, social effort should be accompanied by the media and various contents to enable college students to promote their knowledge and interest in fair trade. In order to activate the fair trade market, it will be necessary to improve the quality to secure the market value as a commodity and to increase the price acceptance of the consumer.

  • This study attempts to reconsider the significance of political economy as a theory of knowledge and/or a method for explaining the convergence of broadcast and telecommunications. It is going to suggest what the domains of political economy should be in the future by both highlighting the characteristics and blind spots of previous studies and drawing some distinctive features of a new media environment. The principals and recent research trends in political economy are reviewed in order to make clear that the historical totality as a meta-framework of political economy needs to be reexamined in the era of convergence. Although the scope of political economy has been limited to criticize the structure of media ownerships, the study emphasizes the importance of media consumer theory. It also discusses the problems of free market theory, distortion of active media audience theory, and limitations and creative tension of audience commodity. Finally, this study stresses the significance of audience-oriented policies in order to make approach to practical sides of media politics.

  • This study is aimed to analyse the performances and market positions of Korean products at the Central and South America where recently come into the spotlight for the emerging markets with FTA. The main problems were not the communication or geographical distance but the faint Central and South American specific support of the government and indifferent market approaching concepts. New cultural merchandising approach, Korean enterprise can maintain the competitive advantage against with chinese low products which is main opponent in this market. In order to achieve the close cultural approach, Korean enterprise should use the 'elite groups' in the Central and South america whom are multi cultural leaders in there and also needs to use the Korean CQO merchandisers in the Central and South America. And the new FTA with rest of countries in the Central and South America more aggressively will be the inmost objet of maintaining competitive advantage and we could change the concept of the this market from 'big indifferent market' to 'strategic market' as a hopeful market for achieve the diversification of export.

Current Status and Recognition of Floral Preservatives in Korean Flower Shops (국내 플라워샵에서의 절화보존제 인식과 이용 현황)

  • The survey conducted with 120 florists in Korean domestic flower shops to investigate the use and awareness of floral preservatives in Korea. As a result, only 19.8% of the domestic florists use floral preservatives frequently in their shops, whereas 45.5% do not use them at all, suggesting very low use frequency. Korean domestic florists considered the use of floral preservatives mostly for storing cut flowers to preventing bacteria growth. For the reasons not to use floral preservatives, 51.4% of the Korean domestic florists did not value its usefulness, showing a lack of awareness of floral preservatives. However, 44.2% of the florists who had the experience with floral preservatives satisfied with the effect of floral preservatives, and 49.5% of the respondents positively answered to recommend floral preservatives to others. General awareness on floral preservatives among Korean domestic florists was positive. 50.5% of the florists with the experience with the floral preservative had the high intention to re-purchase the flower preservatives. The low use frequency and lack of recognition of floral preservatives in Korea were likely due to very few floral preservative brands and little advertising. However, the high satisfaction level and repurchase intention rate shown by the florists indicates that increasing advertising and education for the floral preservatives would improve the accessibility and awareness of the products and their effects increasing the opportunity to use floral preservatives among Korean domestic florists, further enhancing consumers' satisfaction by improving the cut flower quality and its vase life.
