Adaptive State Feedback Control System of DC Motors with Periodic Random Disturbance (주기적 확률외란을 갖는 DC 전동기의 적응형 상태궤환 제어시스템)

  • Periodic disturbance is practically occurred in several engineering applications, especially in data storage systems. However, recently addressed controls for such problem were mostly dealt with its deterministic nature, which is rarely practical in real-time implementation. We present an adaptive control approach for DC motor systems with periodic stochastic disturbance whose frequency and magnitude are both random variables. We establish adaptive state feedback control which is linearly composed of nominal and corrective control parameter matrices. The former is derived from a nominal system model voiding disturbance and the latter is constructed from a disturbed system model by using Lyapunov stability theory. We carry out computer simulation to evaluate the proposed control methodology and compare to the recently addressed control method to demonstrate its superiority.

  • 본 논문에서는 매크로셀/마이크로셀 기반의 셀 구조의 순방향 얼랑 용량 및 outage 확률을 수학적으로 분석하였다. 각 계층 셀에는 음성 및 다양한 속도의 데이터 서비스 사용자가 균일하게 분포되어 있다고 가정하였으며 계층의 자원 분배 방법으로는 각 계층이 동일한 주파수 대역을 사용하는 대역 공유 방식을 적용하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 전력 제어의 불완전성에 의한 영향도 고려하였다. 대역 공유 계층셀 구조의 순방향 용량은 계층셀 기지국간 송신 전력비 및 매크로셀 내부에 위치한 마이크로셀의 상대적인 위치와 밀접한 관련이 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었으며 모의 실험 결과를 통해 증명하였다. 본 논문에서는 대역폭이 1.2288MHz인 1x 시스템과 광대역 3x 시스템의 순방향 얼랑 용량을 비교 분석하였으며 3x 시스템이 1x 시스템에 비해 3배 이상의 얼랑 용량 증대효과를 가진다는 것을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, we have studied Continuous Speech Recognition System of Speaker Adaptation using MAPE (Maximum A Posteriori Probability Estimation) which can adapt any small amount of adaptation speech data. Speaker adaptation is performed by the method of MAPB after Concatenation training which is making sentence unit HMM linked by syllable unit HMM and Viterbi segmentation classifies speech data to be adaptation into segmentation of syllable unit data automatically without hand labelling. For car control speech the recognition rates of adaptation of HMM was 77.18% which is approximately 6% improvement over that of unadapted HMM.(in case of O(n)DP)

  • A vehicle cruise control algorithm using an Interacting Multiple Model (IMM)-based Multi-Target Tracking (MTT) method has been presented in this paper. The vehicle cruise control algorithm consists of three parts; track estimator using IMM-Probabilistic Data Association Filter (PDAF), a primary target vehicle determination algorithm and a single-target adaptive cruise control algorithm. Three motion models; uniform motion, lane-change motion and acceleration motion, have been adopted to distinguish large lateral motions from longitudinal motions. The models have been validated using simulated and experimental data. The improvement in the state estimation performance when using three models is verified in target tracking simulations. The performance and safety benefits of a multi-model-based MTT-ACC system is investigated via simulations using real driving radar sensor data. These simulations show system response that is more realistic and reflective of actual human driving behavior.

  • Pipelined architecture improves processor performance by overlapping the execution of several different instructions. The effect of control hazard stalls the pipeline and reduces processor performance. In order to reduce the effect of control hazard caused by branch, we proposes a new approach combining both branch prediction and two paths strategy. In addition, we verify the performance improvement in a proposed approach by utilizing system performance metric CPI rather than BEP.

  • 본 논문에서는 Differentiated Services (DiffServ) 망의 edge 라우터에 적용되는 3 단계 트래픽 제어기 (3 phased traffic conditioner : 3PTC)를 제안하였다. 제안된 3PTC 는 TCP 트래픽의 예약된 대역폭 (reserved rate) 의 차이, UDP/TCP의 상호작용, RTT 및 집합된 트래픽을 구성하는 작은 트래픽 수에 의한 영향을 최소화함으로써, DiffServ 망에서 제공하는 Assured Services 사용자들에게 공정한 대역폭을 보장해 줄 수 있다. 3PTC 는 토큰버킷 단계, 확률결정 단계, 그리고 버퍼관리 단계로 이루어져 있다.

  • 본 논문은 열차제어시스템 유지보수업무의 최적화를 위한 정량적 주기산출방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 전장품과 같이 유지보수업무로 주로 교체업무가 선택되는 경우, 운영비용을 최적화하기 위한 교체주기를 정량적으로 산출하기위한 방법을 제시하고, 장치의 고장분포 데이터를 통해, 철도신호장치의 교체주기를 할당한다. 제시한 방법은 유지보수장치의 운영이력을 분석하여, 장치의 고장데이터를 바탕으로 고장분포를 확률적으로 모델링한 뒤, 정확한 LCC데이터가 적용될 때 새롭게 도입되는 장비 및 시스템의 유지보수업무주기를 할당이 가능하고, 이를 통해여 시스템의 운영안전을 보장하면서, 운용비용을 최적화 할 수 있다.

  • Investigation is performed on the characteristics and new control technique for general form of dynamic system under the randomly disturbance. Also, a controller design method in stochastic domain in studied, which is preliminary result in the course of research on the control of stochastic system. The governing equation is derived via F-P-K approach in stochastic sense. A controller is designed in term of auto power density and cross power density.

  • A control algorithm fir the unmanned vehicles was developed using image information received through a CCD camera that acquires more powerful information over the wide range of wave-length comparing with other sensors and was applied to a speed-sprayer. The algorithm consisted of straight mode for passing along with middle of two tree-rows and turning mode for changing from a row to another row. In case of turning mode, two marks of colored papers were employed to indicate turning point and to decide turning direction for various orchard situations. The method of analysis and image would be differed according to camera's tilt-angle and position that is set on the speed-sprayer. Hence, it analyzed the point of difference by making camera's up and downward tilt-angle.

  • Color segmentation takes great attentions since a color is an effective and robust visual cue for characterizing one object from other objects. Color segmentation is, however, suffered from color variation induced from irregular illumination changes. This paper proposes a reliable color modeling approach in HSI (Hue-Saturation-Intensity) rotor space considering intensity information by adopting B-spline curve fitting to make a mathematical model for statistical characteristics of a color with respect to brightness. It is based on the fact that color distribution of a single-colored object is not invariant with respect to brightness variations even in HS (Hue-Saturation) plane. The proposed approach is applied for the segmentation of human skin areas successfully under various illumination conditions.
