  • 무차별 영역에서 올바른 선택을 할 확률을 베이지안 관점으로 추정하였으며 특히 모수의 사전분포를 주는 대신 P(CS) 자체의 사전분포를 정의하여 여러가지 추정량 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 추정량이 사전분포에 어떤 영향을 받는 지를 모의실험을 통해 알아보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 HMIPv6 에 적용이 가능한 핸드오프 확률 기반의 페이징 기법과 페이징 요구 메시지 전송을 위한 멀티캐스트 기법을 제안한다. 핸드오프 확률 기반의 페이징 기법은 모바일 호스트들의 이동 패턴에 기반하여 비정형화 된 페이징 영역을 설정하고 이를 기반으로 거리와 핸드오프확률을 이용하여 멀티캐스트 트리를 구성한다.

  • In Korea, mathematics education of 1-10 grade students has been taken according to the 7th national mathematics curriculum, which was renovated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announcement in 1997. The education of probability and Statistics has been carried out as a part of this curriculum. We analyze 1-10 grade mathematics textbooks and compare the 7th national mathematics curriculum with the 6th national mathematics curriculum.

  • In Korea, mathematics education has been taken according to the 7th national mathematics curriculum renovated by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announcement in 1997. The education of probability and Statistics has been carried out as a part of this curriculum. We analyze and compare mathematics 1 textbooks for 11-12 grade students. Descriptions of random variable, sample variance and sample standard deviation, distribution of sample mean, and etc. which are on some textbooks, are misleaded in school education. We suggest the unbiased estimator of sample variance in accordance with textbooks and central limit theorem of sample mean under normal population.

Contrast Enhancement based on Gaussian Region Segmentation (가우시안 영역 분리 기반 명암 대비 향상)

  • Methods of contrast enhancement have problem such as side effect of over-enhancement with non-gaussian histogram distribution, tradeoff enhancement efficiency against brightness preserving. In order to enhance contrast at various histogram distribution, segmentation to region with gaussian distribution and then enhance contrast each region. First, we segment an image into several regions using GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model)fitting by that k-mean clustering and EM(Expectation-Maximization) in $L^*a^*b^*$ color space. As a result region segmentation, we get the region map and probability map. Then we apply local contrast enhancement algorithm that mean shift to minimum overlapping of each region and preserve brightness histogram equalization. Experiment result show that proposed region based contrast enhancement method compare to the conventional method as AMBE(AbsoluteMean Brightness Error) and AE(Average Entropy), brightness is maintained and represented detail information.

  • Probability has distinctive characteristics which are different from other areas of school mathematics. The critical change can be noticed in the domain, 'probability and statistics' of 2009 revised national curriculum for elementary school mathematics. This indicates that the concept of chance is supposed to be taught in the 5~6 grade band instead of the definition of probability which is moved to the middle school level. The purpose of this study is to seek desirable methods for teaching the concept of chance which reflect the achievement criteria and the attention point for teaching and learning of the curriculum at the point of time when textbooks haven't yet been developed. To do this, based on theoretical considerations and comparative analysis of the curricula in the longitudinal - latitudinal dimensions respectively, the validity of the latest curriculum change was confirmed and several learning activities were devised. And then two lessons were planned for applying these activities to eight fifth graders and were implemented along the plan. As a result, the relevance of the learning activities was examined and students' difficulties in learning the concept of chance with educational implications were discussed.

  • The interference probability between non-geostationary-statellite orbit mobile station is calculated when the two systems are sharing the frquency band below 1 GHz. The probability density function of a mobile earth station(MES) is calculated based on the established propagation model and then, a probability of exceeding the threshold level is derived. By changing the average transimission per unit time of total MSS(Moblie satellite service) area and the ratio of transmitters for specific area, we obtain the average transmission per unit time for the area under consideration. From this, the exceedance probability for the given pfd threshold level is evaluated. The exceedance probability is increased as the average transmissio per unit time and ratio become larger. Also the effect of filter isolation between channels is accounted for.

  • 한국을 비롯한 동양 금석학 정보 인식의 중요한 매체인 탁본을 디지털 영상데이터로 변환하여 영상 특성을 분석하고 수학적 모델을 구현한다. 이를 위해 역사적으로 유명한 대표적 탁본을 포함한 50여개의 탁본영상 샘플을 작위로 선택하였고, 샘플영상 속에 내재되어 있는 영역특성을 중심으로 통계분석을 시도하였다. 탁본 원영상은 흑백의 두 영역으로 분할되는 완벽한 이진영상인데 반하여, 관측영상은 탁본뜨기 수작업과정을 거치면서 영역간 색도의 혼재와 얼룩무늬와 문양이 전체 영상에 분포한다. 본래의 두 영역은 정보영역과 바탕영역으로 구분되나 이들 얼룩무늬들은 또 다른 영역들로 치부되어 주로 바탕영역에 산발적으로 분포되어 영상인식을 저해하는 요인으로 작용한다. 관측영상 속에 내재되어 있는 영역 본래의 특성과 본뜨기 수작업 과정에서 새로 생성되는 영역들 사이의 기하학적 차이를 통계적으로 분류 처리함으로 관측 탁본영상의 영역 특성의 추이를 추론할 수 있다. 분석 결과, 탁본영상은 영역간 극단적인 확률적 차이를 보였으며, 이 양극성은 곧 탁본 원영상의 속성이 수작업과 관측이라는 훼손 과정을 거치면서도 보존됨을 의미한다. 이를 근거로 영역 특성과 훼손 과정을 수학적으로 모델링하였고 정보영역 추출의 일차적 개연성을 제시하였다.

Multiple-Model Probabilistic Design for Centralized Repetitive Controllers of Multiple Systems (다물체시스템의 중앙집중 연속학습제어 복수모형 확률설계기법)

  • This paper presents a method to design a centralized repetitive controller that is robust to variations in the multiple system parameters. The uncertain parameters are specified probabilistically by their probability distribution functions. Instead of working with the distribution functions directly, the centralized repetitive controller is designed from a set of models that are generated from the specified probability functions. With this multiple-model design approach, any number of uncertain parameters that follow any type of distribution functions can be treated. Furthermore, the controller is derived by minimizing a frequency-domain based cost function that produces monotonic convergence of the tracking error as a function of repetition number. Numerical illustrations show how the proposed multiple-model design method produces a repetitive controller that is significantly more robust than an optimal repetitive controller designed from a single nominal model of the multiple system.
