A Study on the Method of Freight Generation Estimation according to Company Size in Seoul Metropolitan Area (수도권의 사업체 규모에 따른 화물발생 예측 방법론 연구)

  • In korea, Freight generation models developed in korea were estimated by spatial unit method which predict freight flow by traffic zone. But it is difficult to predict freight generation using these models, because there are the difference of the totality method of sampling data on freight volume and the variability of the variables by these models on each case study, This study developed new estimation model to predict freight flow which is generated from each company using the characteristics of each company such as the freight outbound & inbound volume, the number of employee, sales, gross area, land area. This model is simpler than the that of spatial unit and can apply to the other region. The subjects of study were companies in metropolitan area and types of model were exponential regression models. The adequate explanatory variable in the models were sales. this study have a uniqueness apply micro research method to estimate freight generation not use spatial unit method but use flow unit method by each company unit.

  • 늘어나는 물동량으로 인해 화물 운송의 중요성은 커지고 있으며 그와 더불어 화물 운송 중 발생하는 도난 또는 분실 사고도 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 고가 화물의 경우 운송 도중 사고가 발생하게 되면 일반 화물에 비해 그 피해정도는 훨씬 심각하다. 그러나 대부분 고가 화물의 운송 중 발생하는 사고에 대한 대책은 운송 보험 가입을 통해 도난 및 분실 피해에 대한 보상에만 초점이 맞춰져 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 새로운 기술인 IP-RFID를 이용하여 운송 중인 고가 화물의 상태 정보 및 위치 정보 파악과 화물 운송함 잠금장치 제어를 통해 고가 화물의 도난을 사전에 방지하고 안전하게 운송 할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

A Study on the Factors Concerning Empty Truck Movements (화물자동차 공차통행 발생요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a supplement to current freight demand model by analyzing factors that influence the generation of empty truck movements in regional and urban realms. To achieve this, we examined the relation between the number of empty truck trips and various generators such as truck attributes, origin type and attributes, destination type and attributes, and commodity type. We structured the ordered logit model using 2011 Korea Transport Database (KTDB) data to analyze the generator characteristic of empty truck movements in regional and urban settings. According to the results, the characteristics of regional and urban empty truck movements differed depending on truck attributes, origin type and attributes, destination type and attributes, and commodity type.

  • this study is to deduct the difference between regional and urban commercial trips by analyzing the characteristics of the regional and urban truck movements. To achieve this, we investigated the relation between the number of truck trips and various truck generation attributes such as truck attributes, origin and destination attributes, and commodity type using ordered logit models, which are separately estimated for regional and urban truck movements using truck diary data of Korea Transport Database (KTDB). According to the estimation results, regional and urban truck movements have different characteristics in truck attributes, origin and destination attributes and commodity type. Especially, the number of regional trucks trips increased as origin and destination are manufactural area and as the total value of products of industrial area in origin and destination increase.

Continuous Coprecipitantion Preconcentration-Hydride Generation for Arsenic in Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry (연속적 공침 선농축-수소화물 발생법을 이용한 ICP-AES에서의 비소의 감도 개선)

  • In a stream of aqueous sample, trace arsenic ions were quantitatively coprecipitated and detected in ICP-AES through hydride generation. In was used as a coprecipitating reagent. The precipitate was collected on a filter and dissolved by HCl. The eluted As was sent into the reaction coil to generate hydrides and analyzed by ICP. With optimal conditions, and with a sample of 0.3 mL, an enrichment of 70 was obtained with the sampling speed of 10/hr. When compared with coprecipitation and hydride generation technique, the sensitivity was increased by 7 and 10 times, respectively. The limit of detection limit$(3{\sigma})$ was 0.020 ${\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ and the precision was 7-10%. Separation of $As^{3+}\;and\;As^{5+}$ were possible using citric acid in hydride generation.

  • 대한민국은 우수한 기술력을 바탕으로 한 각종 플랜트 산업이 주력업종인 강국이다. 이러한 특성에 맞게 각 산업단지에서는 고중량 대형화물에 대한 운송수요가 꾸준히 발생하고 있는 추세이다. 대형화물의 운송량이 증가할수록 고정결박 불량에 의한 화물 낙하, 이탈로 인한 차량파손, 도로파손 등의 사고가 지속적으로 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 사고의 발생 가능성은 항상 내재하고 있다. 하지만 현행 도로교통법에는 화물적재 및 고정에 대한 구체적 규정이 전무하여 화물운전자가 책임을 부담하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 화물적재 규정을 살펴보고 적합한 고정결박 지침을 제정하고 관리하는 절차의 지정을 제안하였다.

  • 교통계획의 수립은 사람과 화물의 이동상태에 대한 파악으로부터 시작되며 화물이동상태를 파악 하기 위한 가장 기본적인 데이터는 지역별 발생집중 화물량일 것이다. 이러한 지역별 발생집중 화물량의 추계방법중 추계의 간편성과 경제상황변화의 반영이 용이하다는 점에서, 최근 학자들의 상당한 주목 을 받으며 연구되고 있는 것이 산업연관분석을 응용한 물류해석방법이다. 그러나 이방법은 대상지역의 산업연관표를 기본 data로 하기 때문에 해당지역의 산업연관표의 존재 여부에 따라서 그 적용범위가 제한된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 연구되고 있는 방법이 Nonsurvey법이다. Nonsurvey법은 대 지역의 산업연관표로부터 그 지역에 포함된 소지역의 산업연관표를 여러 가지 보조적인 데이터를 이용해 서 간접적으로 추계하는 방법이다. 본연구에서는 이러한 Nonsurvey법의 하나로서 대지역의 산업연관표 와 지역분해된 각 소지역의 산업부문별 생산량만을 이용해서 각 소지역의 발생집중화물량을 추계하는 방법을 제안했다. 그리고 일본의 긴키(Kinki)지역과 이에 속하는 4부현을 대상으로 본연구의 방법으로 추계된 이출입양과 실제의 산업연관표상의 이출입량을 비교.분석함으로써 본 연구의 방법에 대한 검증을 실시했다. 본 연구에서 제아한 지역별 발생집중 화물량 추계방법의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대지역내 각 소지역간의 이출입량이 분기계수라고 하는 산업관계표의 산업관계표의 행방향의 합에 대한 비율을 사용함으로서 간단히 추계가능 하다. 둘째, 추계된 소지역의 산업관계표는 대지역에 대한 시스템전체의 정합성이 유지된다. 셋째 분해되는 소지역의 수에 관계없이 각소지역의 이출입양에 대한 추계가 가능하다.

  • Since the introduction of reefer container for seaborne transportation, international trade of reefer products has increased continuously with the development of refrigerate technology, increased speed of the ship and change of consumption pattern. Reefer cargo is perishable and sensitive to temperature, humidity compared with general cargo and normally reefer cargo is more valuable than general cargo. Therefore it needs special care for its handling in transit including land and sea in order to prevent cargo damage. However, lots of claims relating to reefer cargo damage rise frequently in workplace. It may increase unnecessary logistic cost and time. The aim of this study is to improve and prevent damage to reefer container cargo in transit for the purpose of benefits to both merchants and carriers to save unnecessary logistic cost and time as well as to contribute to deliver the cargo more safely and efficiently to destination.

Some Issues on the International Regulations Associated with the Air Pollution Caused by the SOx Emission at Sea (해양에서 황산화물 오염 규제에 대한 소고)

  • Air pollution associated with the SOx emission from the shipboard propulsion and generation engines is becoming one of the major environmental concerns these days. Lead by the international organizations including IMO and European Union, a significantly strengthened air pollution related regulations have been introduced and they are becoming in practice as scheduled. Such rules are basically giving the guidelines for permissible SOx emission which can be only met by using high quality fuel oils with less sulfur content or operating scrubbing systems aiming at reducing SOx at the engine exhaust. Since both countermeasures can lead to the cost increase in ship building and operation, Korean shipbuilding industries, leading the world's market, need to be well aware of the ever changing regulations and be prepared with proper solutions. Here, we briefly summarize such latest rules and regulations on the air pollution at sea, and review some technical issues on the scrubbing systems available with some suggestions.

A Study on the Damage to Cargo Caused by Shipper's Liability in Marine Transport (해상운송에서 하주의 귀책사유에 의한 화물손해에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to discuss damage to cargo caused by shipper's Liability. an analysis of the excepted perils of the carriers and the scope of marine insurance coverage reveals that the excepted perils of the carrier are covered by the most part by marine insurance. however damage to cargo caused by shipper's fault remains uncovered. Damage to cargo by insufficient packing is caused by the cargo owner's error or negligence, thus both the underwriter and the marine carrier are exmpted from responsibility. but a problem aries from the fact that there is no objective standard for full packaging. In order to solve these problems, it is required to specify the method of packaging for certain goods when making an individual agreement, so that the owner can be exmpted from responsibility for packaging conformed to the pertinent article.
