This paper explains what Japanese progressive liberalism was in postwar Japan by clarifying Maruyama Masao's "Cold War Liberalism," focusing especially on his realism and nationalism searching for "democracy" and "peace" in the context of the early Cold War Japan. Maruyama's Cold War liberalism can be grasped from two perspectives: how the Cold War defined his liberalism and how Maruyama interpreted the Cold War as a liberalist in postwar Japan. The liberal interpretation of the Cold War captures the spatial manifestations of liberalism in the Cold War while Cold War liberalism was to grasp the temporal succession of modern Japan. Maruyama revealed his liberal thinking by combining it to his idea of nationalism and realism. He was concerned about the reshaping of the fascist atmosphere provoked by anti-communism emerging from 186 | 동북아역사논총 59호the Cold War confrontation structure. He sought "neutrality" and "peace" to overcome the so-called "two worlds" of the Cold War. And he stressed the importance of "fair judgment" and "autonomous association" to restrain the fascistic atmosphere in postwar Japan. For Maruyama, subjectivity aimed at the concept of "nation" rather than "citizen," and nationalism was a condition for "democracy" and "peace" in postwar Japan. Maruyama's critical liberalism worked through nationalism and realism.

Thirty P. acnes were isolated from the 30 acne patients who visited some skin care shops from Feburary of 2001 to August of 2001. They were identified by morphological features (gram stain), biochemical properties. Only P. acne strains are isolated among Propionibacteria sp. and biochemical properities of P. acnes were not different from P. acnes ATCC 11827 strain significantly. The results of the biotyping was as follow: twenty three strains of biotype I from comedone, 1 strain of biotype II from pauple, 5 strains of biotype III from pauple and pustule, and 1 strain of biotype IV from pauple were isolated respectively.

Regulation theory became a popular framework for economic geography in the mid-1990s but lost favor before it became prominent in South Korea. This paper revisits regulation theory - in both its original (1990s) and the revised (2000s) forms - to consider its applicability to the case of Korean capitalism. We contend that the difficulties in applying regulation theory to Korea are, on one hand, indicative of certain fundamental limitations in the theoretical approach and, on the other hand, useful for clarifying the distinctiveness of Korean capitalism.

Much effort has been made to measure regional difference showing the pattern of regionalism in Korea. Focusing the concept of social distance. this paper examines various election and regional preference data. The paper presets three major findings. First. current election data show clear regional cleavage. Second. regional discrimination and prejudice is often found in one's everyday life. Third, political aspect of regionalism is strongly related to social aspect of regionalism. These findings suggest that regionalism in Korea will survive for the time being. The regionalism is rooted in everyday life . To political elites. it became an attractive and economic way to maintain their power. This tendency will promote the preference for parliamentary system among political elites and the possibility of appearance of regional party

This study is about the relationship between traditional familism and welfare consciousness in Korea. Traditional familism is known as the value that most Koreans share with, and the impeding value for welfare program development. Strong family solidarity and family-centered perception among Koreans influences other social values and ideology. Especially, care of the family members is understood as a family duty and responsibility. And this inhibits Koreans to develop welfare consciousness and further to develop welfare programs at the governmental level. Thus, this study purposes to explore the relationship between the two. The sample of 1,131 men and women was selected in Seoul area. As a result, traditional familism is found to be quite influential to welfare consciousness among Koreans. First, perception of welfare institution is strongly related with welfare consciousness. The respondents in high familism group showed low welfare consciousness. Second, state-friendly welfare responsibility was shown low in the group of high familism for the aged and youth. In the same context, for the disabled and the unemployed, state-friendly welfare responsibility was shown high in the group of low familism. Lastly, the relationship between familism and the welfare need was not apparent. Such results make possible to conclude that traditional familism among Korean is still influential to welfare consciousness and welfare ideology. However, although this conclusion should not be used for an excuse to avoid state responsibility but used as a tool to develop a welfare model to strengthen family function as one solid family.

In 1999, the origin concept of blog was introduced in America for sharing information, from the end of 2002. It appealed to people in Korea and also has been developed from the original blog style to the advanced style combining social network service, the reason of unique evolution in Korean blog style is on what the cultural communication method has influenced. Nowadays world is smaller and distance between countries is more and more close than before, by that reason designer peruses global design, but we realize that the globalization should consider local society through blog, therefore this study presents the method of communication and cultural attribute and human relationship that made by old tradition by the means of criticism focused on local culture.

A new variety of oyster mushroom 'Choengsan' was developed with crossing between monokaryotic strains derived from Suhan and Wonhyoung #3. It was developed by Agriproduct Processing Experiment Station, Gangwon Agricultural Research & Extension Services in 2006. The optimum temperature of mycelial growth was around $27{\sim}28^{\circ}C$ and that of fruiting body was $14{\sim}17^{\circ}C$. The color of pileus was dark-gray color. The period of primordial occurrence was about 20 days in bed cultivation using cotton waste and the yields were $38kg/3.3m^2$.

본 논문은 인간의 언어정보처리 과정 중 시각단어재인(visual word recognition) 과정에서 음운정보와 철자정보의 역할 및 심성어휘집의 표상 형태를 알아보기 위해, 계산주의적 모델을 제안하고, 제안된 모델을 이용하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 계산주의적 모텔은 한국어에 대한 시각 단어재인 시 보이는 언어현상 중 음운, 철자 이웃 크기효과(phonological and orthographic neighborhood effect)를 나타냈으며, 이를 통해 한국어 시각단어재인 과정에서 심성어휘집이 음운정보로 표상되어 있다는 것을 시사하는 증거를 보였다.

본 논문은 인간의 어휘획득(Lexical Aquisition)과정을 하이브리드(hybrid)한 형태의 계산주의적(Computational) 모델을 설계,반복 실험을 통해 인지신경기반의 어휘습득 모델을 구현하고 실험하였다. 이 연구를 통해 인간의 어휘획득 과정을 모사(simulate)할수 있었고, 이로인해 인지신경기반 어휘 정보처리 시스템 개발을 위한 자동어휘 획득, 심성 어휘집 표상, 어휘 인식(word recognition)의 계산주의적 모델 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
