Experimental Research on Radar and ESM Measurement Fusion Technique Using Probabilistic Data Association for Cooperative Target Tracking (협동 표적 추적을 위한 확률적 데이터 연관 기반 레이더 및 ESM 센서 측정치 융합 기법의 실험적 연구)

  • Target processing mechanisms are necessary to collect target information, real-time data fusion, and tactical environment recognition for cooperative engagement ability. Among these mechanisms, the target tracking starts from predicting state of speed, acceleration, and location by using sensors' measurements. However, it can be a problem to give the reliability because the measurements have a certain uncertainty. Thus, a technique which uses multiple sensors is needed to detect the target and increase the reliability. Also, data fusion technique is necessary to process the data which is provided from heterogeneous sensors for target tracking. In this paper, a target tracking algorithm is proposed based on probabilistic data association(PDA) by fusing radar and ESM sensor measurements. The radar sensor's azimuth and range measurements and the ESM sensor's bearing-only measurement are associated by the measurement fusion method. After gating associated measurements, state estimation of the target is performed by PDA filter. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides improved estimation under linear and circular target motions.

  • Most existing routing protocols for object detection and tracking in wireless sensor networks concentrate on finding ways to detect and track one and more individual objects, e.g. people, animals, and vehicles, but they do not be interested in detecting and tracking of continuous objects, e.g., poison gas and biochemical. Such continuous objects have quite different properties from the individual objects since the continuous objects are continuously distributed across a region and usually occupy a large area, Thus, the continuous objects could be detected by a number of sensor nodes so that sensing data are redundant and highly correlated. Therefore, an efficient data collection and report scheme for collecting and locally aggregating sensing data is needed, In this paper, we propose the Continuous Object Tracking Mechanism based on Dynamic Rectangle Zone for detecting, tracking, and monitoring the continuous objects taking into account their properties.

  • The most important problems in the multi-agent system are to accomplish a goal through the efficient coordination of several agents and to prevent collision with other agents. In this paper, we propose a new control strategy for succeeding the goal of the prey pursuit problem efficiently. Our control method uses reinforcement learning to control the multi-agent system and consider the distance as well as the space relationship between the agents in the state space of the prey pursuit problem.

Real-time Monitoring of the Actual Infusion Rate of Syringe Pump Using 2D Image Marker Tracking (2D 영상마커 추적 기반 시린지펌프 투약속도 실시간 감시 기술 개발)

  • Purpose: To propose a new infusion rate monitoring technique based on the 2D image marker tacking to improve patient safety by preventing syringe pump-related medication accidents due to decreased infusion rate control accuracy. Materials and Methods: The infusion rate of the syringe pump and drug residue in the pump-equipped syringe were monitored in real time by tracking the movement of the 2D image markers attached to the syringe pump. Results: The error rate between the set and the estimated infusion rates was 1.03, 0.66, 1.95, 0.23, and 1.05% when the infusion rate setting was 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 mL/H, respectively. In addition, the error rate between the actual and the estimated drug residues was 1.04, 0.47, 0.60, 3.66, and 0.00% when the infusion rate setting was 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 mL/H, respectively. Conclusion: Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed technique can increase the efficiency of the safety management system for seriously ill inpatients by decreasing a possibility of syringe pump-related medication accidents in hospitals.

Parafovea Information Processing of Adults and Adolescents in Reading: Diffusion Model Analysis on Distributions of Eye Fixation Durations (글읽기에서 나타난 성인과 청소년의 중심와주변 정보처리: 고정시간 분포에 대한 확산모형 분석)

  • This study compares the parafovea preview effect of adolescent group and adult group with different ages using eye tracking experiment. Also, this study confirms that the starting point parameter of the one boundary diffusion model can explain the data obtained through eye tracking experiments. In two experiments, parafoveal information processing was examined using the boundary technique. In Experiment 1, reading times were compared between the conditions given high frequency words preview versus masking preview. In Experiment 2, the condition in which low frequency words were given to parafovea preview information and the condition in which parafovea preview was masked were compared. We found that both the adolescent group and the adult group showed a parafovea preview effect. Also, first fixation, single fixation, and gaze duration of the two groups were different based on the word property shown in the parafovea. The first fixation data obtained in the two experiments were divided into quantiles and fitted into one boundary diffusion model. From the results, we argue that the parafovea preview information processing in the reading was described as the starting point parameter of the one boundary diffusion model.

Effect of word frequency in sentence reading of older adults with rich reading exposure (노인들의 글 읽기에서 나타나는 눈의 움직임 양상과 읽기 노출의 필요성)

  • In this study, Korean older adults (70-75 yrs) were divided into two groups according to the degree of reading exposure, and real-time data were collected through a reading eye movement tracking experiment. Then, overall reading patterns and word frequency ef ects were compared with two groups of older adults and younger adults (20-28 yrs). Furthermore, through the results of the eye movement tracking experiment of older adults with rich reading exposure and older adults with poor reading exposure, we tried to find out whether reading performance af ects not only changes in age but also reading exposure. As a result of the experiment, the older adults with poor reading exposure group generally had a longer fixation time and a shorter saccade than the younger adults group, and the older adults with rich reading exposure group showed the same reading patterns as the younger adults group. The word frequency ef ect was confirmed in all groups, and the fixation time was short in the order of older adults with rich reading exposure group and older adults with poor reading exposure group. In addition, an interaction ef ect was shown in the two elderly groups according to reading exposure, but no interaction could be confirmed in the dif erence between the younger adults group and the older adults with rich reading exposure group. This suggests the possibility that reading performance is not af ected by age itself, but by the reading experience of the elderly.

  • Angiotensin 전환효소 억제제를 재료로하여 다기관 협동을 통한 시판 후 조사방법론을 개발하고, 아울러 Angiotensin 전환효소 억제제 투여시 나타나는 기침의 발생율과 이와 관련된 요인을 밝히고자 시판 후 조사를 시도하였다. 방법: 1992년 2월부터 1992년 10월까지 11개 병원 가정의학과를 방문하여 Angiotensin 전환효소 억제제를 투여한 고혈압 환자 348명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 이중 남자가 147명, 여자가 201명이었으며, 연령별로는 39세이하 38명, 40-54세 156명, 55세 이상이 154명이었다. 최초 약물투여 후 2, 4, 8, 12주에 추적 관찰하였으며, 기침의 발생율은 PC-SAS 6.04를 이용하여 Kaplan-Meier 방법과 Log-Rank 방법으로 분석하였다.

  • As a primary technology of Industry 4.0, human-robot collaboration (HRC) requires additional measures to ensure worker safety. Previous studies on avoiding collisions between collaborative robots and workers mainly detect collisions based on sensors and cameras attached to the robot. This method requires complex algorithms to continuously track robots, people, and objects and has the disadvantage of not being able to respond quickly to changes in the work environment. The present study was conducted to implement a web-based platform that manages collaborative robots by recognizing the emotions of workers - specifically their perception of danger - in the collaborative process. To this end, we developed a web-based application that collects and stores emotion-related brain waves via a wearable device; a deep-learning model that extracts and classifies the characteristics of neutral, positive, and negative emotions; and an Internet-of-things (IoT) interface program that controls motor operation according to classified emotions. We conducted a comparative analysis of our system's performance using a public open dataset and a dataset collected through actual measurement, achieving validation accuracies of 96.8% and 70.7%, respectively.

  • Agent-based systems technology has generated lots of excitement in these years because of its promise as a new paradigm for conceptualizing. designing. and l implementing software systems Especially, there has been many researches for multi agent system because of the characteristics that it fits to the distributed and open Internet environments. In a multiagent system. agents must cooperate with each other through a Coordination procedure. when the conflicts between agents arise. where those are caused b by the point that each action acts for a purpose separately without coordination. But P previous researches for coordination methods in multi agent system have a deficiency that they can not solve correctly the cooperation problem between agents which have different goals in dynamic environment. In this paper. we solve the cooperation problem of multiagent that has multiple goals in a dynamic environment. with an automatic cooperative coordination model using I reinforcement learning. We will show the two pursuit problems that we extend a traditional problem in multi agent systems area for modeling the restriction in the multiple goals in a dynamic environment. and we have verified the validity of the proposed model with an experiment.
