초고진공 펌프개발 -크라이오 펌프와 진공 브레이징의 이해-

  • 개요- 반도체 시장의 확대 및 소자의 고집적화와 장비의 초정밀화 등 고정도 생산성을 요구하는 현대 진공산업 시장에서는 정밀한 제품을 대량으로 생산할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 대용량 장비의 수요가 급증하고 있다. 서론- 하루가 다르게 발전하는 기술 경쟁 사회에서는 보다 성능이 좋은 제품을 다른 국가 또는 다른 업체와 차별화된 기술적 우위를 선점해야 한다. 본문-이에따라, 고신뢰도, 고생산성이 요구되는 진공산업 시장에 발맞추기 위한 일환으로 크라이오 펌프의 재생시간을 단축시켜 생산성 향상을 높이고, 기존의 제품에서 소비자가 느꼈던 진동을 최소로 줄일 수 있도록 저진동 제품의 설계를 통한 고객 만족의 제품을 개발함과 동시에, 맥동관 냉동기의 기술상업화를 꾀한 극저온기술 영역의 발전을 함께 도모하고자 한다. 현재까지는 국내의 일부 정부출연 연구소와 학교, 일부 특수산업 분야에서만 크라이오 펌프를 사용하고 있으나, 상업적인 설계 및 생산은 완전히 전무한 상태이다. 이는 진공시장의 잠재적인 성장을 고려할 때 국산화가 시급한 상황이다. 이러한, 상황을 고려하여 현재 기계연구원과 우성진공, 국민대학교가 맥동관 냉동기를 접목시킨 급속재생형 저진동 크라이오 펌프를 지난 2008년부터 산학연 협동으로 개발 진행 중에 있다. 크라이오 펌프의 핵심 기술은 냉동기의 효율에 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 이러한 냉동기의 효과를 높이기 위하여, 제작 공정에 진공 브레이징을 사용하여, 열교환기와 교환기 내의 충진재들과의 정확한 간극을 유지하면서 접합을 할 수 있는 환경요건을 지속적인 실험을 통해 지식을 습득하고 있다. 진공 브레이징은 외관을 아름답고 정교하게 접합할 수 있으므로, 추후 상품으로의 가치를 높일 수 있으며, 서로 다른 이종금속 간의 접합이 가능하여 열교환기의 무산소동과 스테인레스 튜브와의 접합을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 진공브레이징에 쓰이는 모재는 여러가지가 있으며, 접합의 환경 또한 일반 용접보다 다양하므로 여러번의 실험을 통한다면, 성능은 우수하면서 외관으로 손색이 없는 개발품이 나올수 있겠다는 의견이 모아지고 있는 중이다. 본론- 아직까지는 미국의 CTI사나 일본의 ULVAC 등의 크라이오 펌프의 선진 기업에 비해 기술력이 많이 부족하기는 하지만, 아직 많은 부분이 미개발된 분야이고, 향후 후발국과의 차별을 두어 선진기술을 확보하기 위해서는 기존의 방식을 단순히 따라하는 것이 아닌 남들과 다른 원천기술의 확보가 더 필요하며, 이를 위해 부단한 노력과 시행착오를 거쳐 맥동관 냉동기형 크라이오 펌프라는 기술을 확보할 예정이다.

  • Teaching and learning through games which arouses interest in learning not only lessens a burden of a learner but also labors for Academic Achievement. and for the sake of enhancing convergence of thinking and problem solving abilities as well as raising interest and understanding in science and technology, Steam teaching which is mainly made of research and experimental activities is emphasized on. This paper which makes use of crayon physics has developed Steam program it was mainly applied to science for the first year of junior high school [strength and motion] which for learners of each team is made of four steps eight time in total. At each step learners can understand principle of strength and motion, especially at the step of finding principle of science through games can personally solve the game in cooperation with the leaners of a team and find principle of strength and motion which is to be applied to solving the game. By personally designing and making new games learners can enhance the ability of convergence of thinking. It is expected that the program developed in this paper can enhance imaginativeness of thinking and interest in science which lead to affirmative changes.

  • Teaching methods should focus on enabling the students to adopt an open mind towards new experiences and to be flexible to change. Moreover, their purpose lies in encouraging the students to build their ability to discern values so that they can make the right decisions when they are at a crossroad. However, traditional teaching methods were centered on textbooks and on the teachers. This type of teaching method needs to change so that the new teaching method will focus on the students themselves, taking levels of individual students into consideration to enable development of their creativity in line with the demands made during the 21st century, an era of information and globalization. Projected learning method is appropriate for the Physical Education (PE) classes where various activities aim to increase the level of cooperation among students and their investigative skills. Moreover, PE classes pay special attention to the practical aspect. Accordingly, this research makes recommendations for the class execution methods based on projected learning by improving the curriculum for the PE classes, and the effect of these methods are subject to verification.

  • In modern warfare, the importance of SEAD(Suppression of Enemy Air Defense) mission is being emphasized. However, this mission runs the risk of hull damage or casualties of our friendly air forces. Because of these risks, research on the way of minimizing damages and enhancing mission capability is under active discussion. As a part of this research, SEAD mission planning with multiple UAVs has been covered using vector field guidance. This guidance method not only applies to various forms of flight path but also requires less computational power than other guidance methods. Therefore, in this paper, planning methods of SEAD mission for multiple UAVs using vector field guidance and experimental data from flight experiments regarding designed mission has been covered.

  • The future of communication systems is expected to combine with the terrestrial and satellite networks. A commonality between wireless interfaces is important consideration for cost of user equipment in the integrated satellite and the terrestrial system. Because IMT-Advanced system take into account LTE based on the terrestrial system for the next generation of communication, a study of the LTE-based satellite system is especially required. A frame of the existing terrestrial wireless networks is designed to use for a random access up to the maximum cell radius of 100 km. However, the random access scheme for the terrestrial system cannot be used in the satellite system, because the satellite systems generally have large coverage than the terrestrial system. Therefore, we propose that the efficient random access procedure to reduce latency and complexity for the satellite system maintaining commonality with the terrestrial system in this paper.

극지공학에 있어서 산학연구의 국내외 전망 I

  • 극지개발을 위해서는 극지의 혹독한 자연환경을 대상으로 하는 과학지식과 극지에서 사용되는 특수시설과 장비를 설계, 시공 그리고 운용하는 공학기술이 요구된다. 극지관련 공학기술은 저 온용재료 관련기술, 도로나 교량, 건축물과 같은 극한지 천연자원의 시추와 생산, 수송을 위한 해양구조물과 파이프라인 관련기술, 그리고 얼음의 재료특성에 관한 이론 및 실험으로 크게 구 분할 수 있다. (Table 1). 극지용 구조물과 빙해항행선박 (쇄빙선) 은 일반 해역에서 운용되는 구조물에 비해 형상, 구조강도, 의장, 저온특수설비 등에서 새로운 개념의 기술이 요구되기 때 문에 금후 국내 조선해양산업계가 지향해야 할 고도의 기술집약형 건조물이다. 또한 최근 들어 국내에서도 시베리아 천연자원의 해상운송을 위해 빙해역을 운항할 수 있는 유조선이나 일반 화물선을 확보해야할 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 또한 국내 조선업계의 생산기술이 비약적으로 발전함에 따라 외국으로부터의 빙해항행선박의 수주도 이루어지고 있으나 아직 이들 선박의 설계를 위한 독자적인 기술은 미흡한 현실이다. 극지개발은 이론적 접근과 함께 실험에 의한 신뢰성 있는 자료를 축적해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 빙해수조(,ice model basin)의 건조나 빙역학 실험을 위한 냉동실험실 (cold room)의 건립을 위한 초기투자가 절실히 요구되며 산업계의 수 요에 따른 포괄적인 산학협동연구가 진행되어야 할 필요가 있다. 빙해수조와 냉동실험실은 빙 해역에 직접 접하지 않은 국가에서 극지공학 연구에 참여하기 위한 필수적인 시설인데 table 2에 대표적인 빙해수조의 설치장소와 규모에 대하여 정리하였다. 이 글은 우리 나라가 쉽게 접할 수 없는 극지환경을 이해하고 가까운 장래에 예상되는 수주경쟁에 대비하여, 국내외의 극지개발 동향을 분석하고 이에 대한 국내의 극지관련 연구의 현황과 앞으로의 전망을 살펴보기 위하여 준비된 것이다. 이 글에서는 극지공학 일반보다는 조선해양분야에 관련된 내용만으로 국한한다.

Predicting Relative Superiority of TV Drama First Episodes based on the Quantitative Competency Index of the Cast and Crew (TV드라마 참여 인물의 계량 능력지표에 기반한 첫 회 시청률 상대적 우위 예측)

  • It is not easy to predict the return on investment in the content business, and there is no index to evaluate cast & crew. The absolute number of TV ratings is steadily declining, but there is no substitute index yet. In this study, we tried to predict the relative popularity of the drama by designing the relative superiority of the individual drama viewership as the response variable and designing the relative superiority of the drama participants as the explanatory variables. We used various machine learning algorithms and added explanatory variables that were found to be useful in previous studies. As a result, with properly combined explanatory variables, a high prediction accuracy of 84% is obtained. In this study, we intend to promote the investment efficiency of the entire contents industry by predicting the relative popularity of the contents.

  • Being dealt in Alfred Weber's Theory of the location of Industries, a lot of economic benefits can be obtained through aggregation and clustering of industrial facilities, which derived to the development of industrial complexes in Korea. However, with the IMF economic crisis as well as various institutional changes, the framework of aggregation and clustering of industries is broken, which led to individual developments that took place without any consideration of surrounding industries. For reformation of these condition of industrial complexes, national government-led regeneration projects are being carried out currently. However, national government-led projects mainly focus on profitable projects such as officetel and hotel that are irrelevant to exist composition of industrial complexes which is usually manufacturing base industries and are unable to solve the fundamental problems of industrial complexes. Thus, a necessity of industry clustering is deduced through case analysis of actual private-led manufacturing industry cluster with governance and analysis of benefits on financial, spatial and environmental aspects. In addition, implications on the necessity follow base on factorial analysis on the benefit of clustering development than individual development as well as analysis on the measures taken for successful clustering.

  • This study aims to design folk song metadata based on the OAIS reference model for the folk songs' preservation and permanent use. Thus, the folk songs' general characteristics were investigated by researching literature and related technical standards. The type of records, the methods and standards for long-term storage of records, OAIS reference models, and each package's metadata elements were identified through opinions from the popular songs' creators and researchers. The results awere that first, folk songs were created for social transformation, serving as a cultural heritage different from popular songs given their noncommercial quality. Second, the types of folk song records were identified, and the long-term preservation system suitable for the types of records was based on the OAIS reference model. Third, the metadata were edited, and the OIS reference model was applied such that respect was given to the folk songs' characteristics, context, and original order. Fourth and last, information package metadata elements matching the folk songs' records were derived and applied to the representative Korean folk song, "The March for Being."

  • This study focuses on the implementation of C-band radio navigation in the 5.03 ~ 5.15 GHz terrestrial band to cooperate with GNSS navigation mainly used in existing UAMs. This is one of the navigation technologies that can fully satisfy the requirements of Title 14 of CFR-135.165. According to the FAA, the use of two or more independent navigation sources for aircraft is proposed for aircraft. This study proceeded with the link budget derivation through radio wave propagation path loss analysis, and antenna shape design for miniaturized Doppler VOR, and DME design with enhanced positional distance resolution compared to conventional aircraft. The ground navigation system which is the result of this study, consists of a VOR/DME ground station and a terminal that can be mounted on UAM. Significant performance was confirmed through the production and testing of each prototype.
