  • 디자인 팀들간의 효과적인 협업 작업을 위해서는 효율적이고 실행할 수 있는 협동 플랫폼이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 텍스타일 패턴 디자인을 협업할 수 있는 시스템 기반구조를 설계하였다. 또한 웹 상의 패턴 지식 라이브러리를 구축하여 참여자들이 필요로 하는 지능적인 디자인을 지원하도록 하였다. 기반구조에 따라 설계된 웹 사이트는 디자이너들 간에 빠르고, 효율적인 패턴 설계를 지원한다.

  • 정보사회가 되면서 새로운 교수방법들이 많이 개발되었고, 컴퓨터의 발전으로 과거에는 나타날 수 없었던 새로운 형태의 게임들도 존재한다. 본 논문은 컴퓨터 학습을 하는 방법에 있어 캐릭터를 활용한 온라인 퀴즈게임을 이용하였다. 퀴즈게임은 학습자의 흥미도를 높일 수 있고, 계속적인 학습자 관찰이 가능하여 학부모와 교사에게 전자우편으로 결과를 피드백 해줄 수 있는 특징이 있다. 이 퀴즈 게임을 개발하는데 요구되는 사항과 특징들을 설계 상에서 살펴보고, 아이템과 시스템에 요구되는 각종 자료 구조를 설계하였다. 이 시스템을 통하여 학생들은 서로 협동하게 되고, 경쟁을 통하여 학습의 효과를 높일 수 있을 것이다.

A Web-based Cooperative Learning System using Extended TGT Model (확장된 TGT 모델을 이용한 웹기반 협동학습 시스템)

  • As web technology and educational environments are in rapid progress, web-based cooperative learning systems have gained a lot of interests. Recently some studies have attempted to combine a learning system and simple games that enable learners to actively participate and have high interests in learning. These studies are based on TGT model, a cooperative learning model using games, and mostly remain system design levels. A few implemented systems have many problems because they focus only on pure TGT model. To solve these problems, this paper builds a extended TGT model and a new web-based cooperative learning system using this new model. The extended part contains ideas such as expert learning from Jigsaw II model, improvement scores from STAD model and making game problems by learners. A system using pure TGT model and a suggested system are implemented and used by two classes of middle school students to evaluate our system. The experimental results show that our system outperforms the other system.

  • 컴퓨터 네트워크의 발전에 의해 학습 공간의 시공간적인 확대와 교육 현장에서 교수-학습 과정에 대한 새로운 교수방법을 요구되었고, 유무선 방송, 인터넷 등을 이용하여 다양한 형태의 원격교육이 구체화되어 왔다. 하지만, 현재 운영되는 대부분의 원격교육시스템은 실질적인 학습 상황에서 단방향적인 개별 학습 형태를 보이고 있고, 사용자간의 쌍방향 상호작용을 위해서는 교수자나 학습자에게 일정 수준이상의 기술적 소양과 경제적 부담을 요구한다. 또한 교수자에게는 교수-학습 상황에서 발생하는 학습자 행동에 대한 실시간적인 모니터링과 학습자의 학습과정에 대한 평가의 어려움을, 학습자에게는 자기 반성의 기회를 제대로 제공하지 못하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 원격교육에서의 협동학습 지원, 사용자의 기술적, 경제적 부담의 제거, 학습 전(全) 과정에 대한 원활한 모니터링과 피드백 기회의 제공을 목적으로 원격협동학습 시스템을 설계하고, 이를 개발하였다. 본 연구에 의해 개발된 원격협동학습 시스템은 원격협동학습을 지원하는 네트워크 화이트보드, 학습 과정 및 결과를 자연어로 저장하는 저장 모듈, 그리고 저장된 학습 스크립트 파일을 해석하여 재생하는 스크립트 인터프리터로 구성되었다. 네트워크 화이트보드는 소프트웨어적으로 구현되어 부가적인 장치가 불필요하고, 통신 서버를 분산하여 서버 구축에 대한 부담을 제거하였고, 학습 내용 화면을 대화창으로 사용하여 사용자의 사용 편리성을 제고하였다. 또한 원격학습의 장(場)에 교수자가 참여하여 실시간적 모니터링이 가능하고, 학습의 전(全) 과정 및 결과를 저장한 자연어 스크립트 파일에 의해서도 학습자 행동에 대한 모니터링이 가능하다. 저장된 자연어 스크립트 파일은 구현된 인터프리터를 이용한 재생뿐 아니라, 파일 자체만으로도 학습과정을 판독할 수 있고, 스크립트 파일에 대한 해석은 교수자에게는 학습자의 학습 과정에 대한 평가 및 피드백의 근거를, 학습자에게는 자신의 학습 행동에 대한 반성의 기회를 제공한다. 본 시스템은 기존의 원격교육시스템에 비해 장비 및 인터페이스 측면에서 간소화되었고, 원격교육에 면대면 학습 개념을 근사적으로 접목시킨 교수 모델로서의 충분한 가치를 제공하나, 실제적인 학습 적용과 효과에 있어서의 타당성은 차후 검증이 있어야 하고, 또한, 이에 따른 시스템에 대한 지속적인 보완도 필요하다.

  • In this paper, we built an Object Oriented Framework for Web collaboration system which contains high level analysis information and design knowledge for java applets and applications that enable web clients to communicate and collaborate each other. Components of framework contain design information, source codes and executable codes for reuse. We had defined a development method for domain framework in related works and built a web collaboration system framework following it. We defined subsystem of web collaboration system for the communication and collaboration between web clients. We also BBS, Q&A system, board service system for the communication and collaboration between web clients. We also developed visual tools for framework usability : source code generator, class editor, knowledge supporting tools.

Development of a Solid Modeler for Web-based Collaborative CAD System (웹 기반 협동CAD시스템의 솔리드 모델러 개발)

  • We propose a Web-based collaborative CAD system which is independent from any platforms, and develop a 3D solid modeler in the system. We developed a new prototype of 3D solid modeler based on the web using Java 3D API, which could be executed without any 3D graphics software and worked collaboratively interacting with each user. The modeler can create primitive objects and get various 3D objects by using loader. The interactive control is available to manipulate-objects such as picking, translating, rotating, zooming. Users connect to this solid modeler and they can create 3D objects and modify them as they want. When this solid modeler is imported to collaborative design system, it will be proved its real worth in today's CAD system. Moreover, if we improve this solid modeler adding to the 3D graphic features such as rendering and animation, it will be able to support more detail design and effect view.

  • The Bio-Inspired system is a computing model that emulates the objects in ecosystem which are evolving themselves and cooperate each other to perform some tasks. Since it could be used to solved the complex problems that have been very difficult to resolve with previous algorithms, there have been a lot of researches to develop an application based on the Bio-Inspired system. However, since this computing model requires the process of evolving and cooperating with a lot of objects and this process takes a lot of times, it has been very hard to develop an application based on this computing model. This paper presents a parallel simulator for a Bio-Inspired system that is designed and implemented with OMNeT++ on PC clusters, and proves its usefulness by showing its simulation performance for a couple of applications. In the proposed parallel simulator, the functions required in the ERS platform for evolving and cooperating between objects (called Ecogent) are mapped onto the functions of OMNeT++, and they are simulated on PC clusters simultaneously to reduce the total simulation time. The simulation results could be monitored with a GUI In realtime, and they are also recorded into DBMS for systematic analyses afterward. This paper shows the usefulness of the proposed system by analyzing its performances for simulating various applications based on Bio-Inspired system on PC clusters with 4 PCs.

Development of teaching-learning plans applying character education components and STAD cooperative learning strategy focusing on 'Housing and residential environment' unit of middle school Technology·Home Economics (중학교 기술·가정 '주거와 거주환경' 단원에 인성교육 요소와 STAD 협동학습 전략을 적용한 교수·학습 과정안 개발)

  • This research aimed to develop teaching-learning plans applying character education components and STAD cooperative learning strategy focusing on the 'Housing and residential environment' unit in accordance with the 2009 revised Technology·Home Economics curriculum. In order to achieve the purpose of the research, this study was conducted in order of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The results of this study is as follows. First, at the analysis stage, relevant literature, Technology·Home economics curriculum, and the contents of "housing and residential environment" unit from 12 textbooks published by 12 publishers were analyzed. Second, at the design stage, teaching-learning plans, teaching materials, and learning activity sheets applying character education components and STAD cooperative learning strategy were designed to increase the interest degree of the learner and character of middle school students. Third, at the development stage, a total of 8 classes of teaching-learning plan was developed. In the evaluation stage, the primary and secondary validity evaluation procedures were done by Home Economics education professors and Home Economics teachers. Teaching-learning plans and learning activity sheets were revised and complemented based on the feedback from the first validity evaluation. As a result of secondary validity evaluation, it can be seen that the teaching-learning plans and learning activity sheets developed in this research are reasonable and suitable for improving character of middle school students. It is expected that these teaching materials applying STAD and character education components will be utilized as a helpful source for curriculum developers and in-service teachers.

Diel Activity Patterns of Water Deer (Hydropotes inermis) and Wild Boar (Sus scrofa) in a Suburban Area Monitored by Long-term Camera-Trapping (장기 카메라트래핑 모니터링 자료를 활용한 도시근교의 고라니 및 멧돼지 일주기성 연구)

  • This study aimed to figure out diel activity patterns of water deer and wild boar, whose habitat is disturbed by human activity in a suburban area. Photographic data of water deer and wild boar collected by 18 camera traps from January 2021 to November 2022 was categorized into four diel periods (dawn, day, dusk, and night), and converted into frequencies per 100 CTD (Camera Trap-Days) for seasonal and spatial diel activity pattern analysis. Water deer exhibited intense nocturnality in fall, and wild boar did in fall and winter. During the fall, water deer's night-time capture rate was the highest (61.9%), and day-time photographic rate was the lowest (13.9%) among other seasons. During the fall and winter, wild boar's night-time photographic rate was relatively high (77.6%, 78.0%, respectively), and day-time photographic rate was relatively low (0.7%, 1.8%) in comparison with other seasons. In spatial diel activity analysis, both water deer and wild boar showed a tendency to avoid humans, especially near trails during day-time hours. The day-time photographic rate of water deer in trail-near group was 12.1% and trail-far group was 24.6%. The day-time photographic rate of wild boar was 3.4%, 5.7%, respectively. Because the diel activity patterns of wildlife reflect human disturbance, this study provides useful ecological information for developing appropriate management plans for the coexistence of water deer and wild boar in suburban areas.

  • Model-centered instruction which presents expert mental model before or during learning can facilitate and help novice learners' problem solving process. During six phases of cognitive apprenticeship model which is a method for applying model centered instruction theory, collaborative learning strategy can maximize articulation and reflection of novice learners. This article presents results of a study that investigated the effects of model-centered instruction and collaborative learning on the learning of instructional design process for pre-service teachers attending a computer education class at an education university.
