본회(회장 오세을)는 지난 7월 27일 국회의원회관에서 '가금산업발전을 위한 역할과 과제'란 주제로 국회토론회를 개최하였다. 약 100여명이 참석한 가운데 이날 본회 이홍재 부회장이 주제발표(농협의 육계산업 활성화 방안)를 하였으며 김정주 명예교수(건국대학교)가 좌장을 맡은 가운데 김종구 과장(농림축산식품부 축산경영과), 최영찬 교수(서울대학교), 우병준 박사(한국농촌경제연구원), 김영수 부장(농협중앙회 축산경영부), 오세진 대표(대흥농장)가 토론자로 나섰다. 국내 계열화 사업은 대부분 기업형으로 많은 문제점이 노출되고 있다. 이번 토론회를 통해 협동조합형 계열화 사업뿐 아니라 다양한 계열화 사업 방식으로 불공정계약이 사라지고 계열화 업체와 농가간 서로 윈윈이 되길 기대해 본다. 본지는 이날 발표내용과 토론내용을 요약 정리 하였다.

영등포역에서 전철로 동대문까지 출퇴근을 하는 이모씨(35). 그에게 최근 새로운 출퇴근 취미하나가 생겼다. 영등포 역사 내 설치된 책자판기에서 책을 한권씩 구입해 출퇴근 시 독서하는 재미에 맛을 들인 것. 핸드북은 양복 안주머니에 쏙 들어가는 싸이즈로 휴대하기도 편할 뿐만 아니라 가격도 2000원으로 저렴하다. 또 분량이 많지 않아 집중해 읽다보면 하루에 한권을 다 읽는 경우도 있다. 이렇게 읽다보니 독서량이 상당해 졌다. 책자판기를 생각하면 은근히 하루가 기다려지는 이모씨. 내일은 과연 무슨 책이 구비되어 있을 까? 한 가지 바람이 있다면 좀더 다양한 콘텐츠의 도서들이 판매되었으면 하는 점이다.

Substation에서 Multistation에로. 최근 일본에서는 전력수요의 신장이 둔화되고 전력소매 부분자유화가 시작된 가운데 장래의 변전소상(상)을 전망한 보고서가 마련되었다. 전력협동연구회의 21세기변전기술전문위원회(위원장: 택간동/교토대학 대학원 공학연구과 교수)에 의한 $\ulcorner$21세기 변전기술$\lrcorner$ (5월에 발간 예정)은 설비보존의 고도화와 기능의 다양화르 이룬 변전소상을 그려내놓았다. 전력회사와 메이커에 대한 앙케트조사, 문헌조사를 통하여 상세한 기술적 검토를 가하여 장래의 변전소에 필요한 기술과제를 추출한 것도 특징이다. 여기에 그 내용을 요약하여 소개한다.

우리가 추구해야 될 국방과학기술 발전전략은, 조직적 측면에서는 산.학.연 협동체제 구축에 의하여 적절한 역할분담을 기하고, 대상과제의 선정에서는 중간진입(Mid-Entry) 전략을, 국방기술 측면에서는 민군 공용기술 개발을 추구해야 한다는 것으로 요약 됩니다 군에서는 특수한 비익무기와 군 고유 필수기술만을 연구개발하고, 군 연구개발비의 많은 부분을 민군 공용기술을 개발하고 있는 기업에 지원하는 것이 타당하리라 생각합니다. 이제 이러한 전략을 실천함에 있어 시스템공학적 접근방법을 적극 활용할 것을 제안합니다

다음은 지난 11.12-11.14. 자연보호 중앙협의회주최.내무부.경남도 후원.제9회 자연보호세미나에서 "자연보존시책의 당면실천과제"주제로 김창환박사(한국자연보존협회장)가 발표한 논문중(2) 자연보호시책에서 언급한 것인데 내무부가 추진중인 자연보호법(안)대로의 내무부에 의한 일원화 촉진과 연구기관창설등으로 맺고 있는데 환경문제는 경계가 없어 어느 부처에 한정되는 것이 아니라 협동해서 신속.효율적으로 대처하는 선진국의 예에 따르는 것이 바람직하다는 학계 의견도 나왔고 지자제실시후의 내무부 권력변화 등은 예측키어려워 주문의 참고로서 부기한다.

드디어 터질게 터졌다. 그동안 노래방 조명자판기를 가지고 불법 다단계 사업을 해 오던 B사대표 및 관계자가 경찰에 구속되며 각 매스컴에 보도가 잇따랐다. 소비자 피해 규모는 무려 1300여억 원에 이르는 대형사기로 자판기 사업에 대한 인식이 악화된다는 점에서 안타까운 일이 아닐 수 없다. 조용하다 싶으면 한건 씩 터지는 자판기 유사수신행위 및 불법 다단계를 근절시키는, 일이 산업계의 시급한 과제이다. 계속하여 자판기 사업에 대한 외부 불신이 쌓여 간다면 걷잡을 수 없는 지경에 이를 수도 있다. 과연 "돈 놓고 돈 먹기 식" 자판기 유사수신 행위 및 불법 다단계를 근절시킬 묘책은 없는 것인가.

The purpose of this study is to analyze inquiry tasks of textbooks in middle schools social studies under the information literacy process and find out teacher librarians' educational information service on the side of information literacy education. Results of the analysis show that middle school students who carry out the inquiry tasks of social studies should select sources, seek its' related information and create their products through writing reports or presentation. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills", the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce social studies teachers' burden of class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of suitable materials seeking strategies for solving their task, understanding and synthesizing the information and evaluating their process and result. Therefore, it is necessary to activate collaborative teaching between the teacher librarian and the social studies teacher based on the information literacy.

This study aims to understand history and adaptive strategies of Bitgoul iCOOP Consumer's Coopertive Association(BCCA). BCCA have twofold identity as civil society organization and economic management organization. Going through several ups and downs from the founding up to now date, BCCA has adapted successfully. The numbers of association member have steadily increased and activity areas have extended consistently. Moreover united activity with local civil society have expanded both quantitatively and qualitatively. These success results from store business which stated from 2008. But maintaining successful management conditions, the numbers of association member should increase steadily and staff organization have grown in size. At the results, BCAA have been bureaucratized and recruitment of core staffs is difficult more and more.

Idiopathic Parkinson disease(IPD) is an neurodegenerative disease caused by the loss of dopamine cells in the substantia nigra, a region of midbrain. Its major symptoms are muscular rigidity, bradykinesia, resting tremor, and postural instability. An estimated 70~90% of patients with IPD also have hypokinetic dysarthria. Subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation (STN-DBS) has been reported to be successful in relieving the core motor symptoms of IPD in the advanced stages of the disease. However, data on the effects of STN-DBS on speech performance are inconsistent. A medline literature search was done to retrieve articles published from 1987 to 2012. The results were narrowed down to focus on speech performance under STN-DBS based perceptual, acoustic, and/or aerodynamic analyses. Among the 32 publications which dealt with speech performance after STN-DBS indicated improvement(42%), deterioration(29%), mixed results(26%), or no change(3%). The most favorite method was found to be based upon acoustic analysis by using a vowel prolongation and Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS). For the purpose of verifying the effect of the STN-DBS, speech evaluation should be undertaken on all speech components such as articulation, resonance, phonation, respiration, and prosody by using a contextual speech task.

Problem solving ability, having been thought as one of the most important goals of science education is also a primary task for the current education. Indeed, the students' problem solving ability has shown almost no actual progress, despite our long accumulated science education. Under this circumstances, cooperative learning, a way to grow students' positive inter-dependence and problem solving ability in the basis of their active participation and discussion, was proposed as an effective teaching method. But, results have not consistently shown the advantage of cooperative learning over traditional learning for promoting academic achievement in science. Studies have consistently shown greater effectiveness on affective aspects. But, relatively few have focused on biology in Korea. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of cooperative learning on the achievement and attitude of high school biology students. The pretest-posttest control group design was applied. The sample consisted of 50 11th-grade female students in experimental group(cooperative learning Student Team Achievement Division model) and 50 students in control group(traditional learning). Students in both groups recieved identical content instruction on the unit 'II. Methabolism'. These groups were treated for 13 hours during 5 weeks. Achievement data were collected using a 24-item multiple-choice test(content validity= .85). Science attitude was measured by an instrument which adapted by Kim In Hee(1994). The instrument(Cronbach $\alpha$=.89) included 40 items in four subscales: attitude toward science, social meaning of science, attitude toward science class, and scientific attitude. An analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used as the data analysis procedure. For the achievement data, no significant difference exists between the cooperative and traditional groups (p> .05). But, cooperative learning was effective in low-ability students(p < .05). For the science learning attitude data, cooperative learning was more effective than the traditional one(p< .05). Students in the cooperative group acheived better than those in traditional one especially in the subscale of attitude toward science class. There was no meaningful difference of the two methods in both high and average ability students, while cooperative learning was more effective than the traditional one in low ability students(p<.05).
