Operating Characteristics of LLC Series resonant converter with a LLT(Inductor-Inductor-Transformer) transformer is presented. LLT transformer used to combine the inductor and transformer into one unit has the increased leakage inductance in the primary and secondary due to the winging method and the use of the gaped core. The increased leakage inductance in the primary and secondary of LLT transformer can be impacted on the DC voltage gain characteristics of LLC series resonant converter. In the paper, DC gain characteristics and the experimental results of the LLC series resonant converter with a LLT transformer are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 400W experimental prototype.

For selectively permeable membrane based on cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) and polyethyleneimine (PEI) with water vapor transportability and DMMP protective performance, we intended to improve protective performance of the membrane against CEES using several additives. Results showed that CAB/PEI membranes possessed performance with good water vapor permeation (${\geq}1,800g/m^2/day$) and enhanced protective capability against CEES contamination ($7.1{\sim}11.5{\mu}g/cm^2{\cdot}day$). Of these membranes, the membrane containing $Ag^+$ ion and ionic exchange resin showed the best protective performance. And, we identified that the CAB/PEI membranes show excellent protection against aerosols with various particle sizes ($0.005{\sim}3{\mu}m$) simulating biological agents.

The objective of this paper is to investigate problems associated with Rural Housing Standard Plans for the Elderly based on the current status of 12 houses belonging to elderly people (60's and over) living in rural areas and engaged in farming activities, and to suggest improvements. The methods employed were a field survey with interviews and literature review. The results are as follows. First, the Plans were deemed inappropriate to prevent the possible accidents in entrance area such as slippiness and falls because the eaves are not long enough. Second, the area of foyer and the volume of foyer storage in the Plans are not enough to accommodate the subject's behaviors and their rural life. Third, rather than using the sink, many subjects preferred to wash simply in the shower while sitting, so the planning of a bathroom can't meet the subject's needs and behaviors. Fourth, the subjects prefer L + DK to LDK but the Plans were designed in the manner of LDK only. Fifth, the subjects have needs for bathrooms belong to the master bedrooms, but only one case of Plans satisfied their needs. Six, bedrooms with the exception of the master bedroom are used as storage in order to make up for a lack of storage space, but many storage space such as dressing rooms and pantries was not taken into consideration in the Plans. Lastly, the planning of storehouses does not meet the subjects' using behaviors for storehouses and the level of desirable capacity of goods.

Studies were conducted to control Spodoptera exigua in Allium fistulosum field using synthetic sex pheromone trap. Heavily, medium and lightly damagd fields at early transplanting time showed no differences in control effects after 8 weeks of establishment of pheromone traps in Allium fistulosum fields. Number of damaged leaves in each treated field was 0.2-3 individuals per 60 hills comparing with 33.2 individuals at non-treated field. Also, the numbers uf male adults attracted to pheromone traps were 1.8-5.0 individuals at the big inning of installation but increased to 25.8, 49.9, 74.9, and 77.4 individuals after 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, respectively. There was a negative correlation between amount of male adults attracted to pheromone traps and number of damaged leaves (r=-0.9572*). Number of adults attracted to various colored light trap for 30 days were 6 in red, 11 in white and none in blue comparing with 1,041 individuals in pheromone trap.

This study investigated seasonal occurrence and daily flight activity using synthetic sex pherom mone and injury characteristics of 야et armyworm, Spodoptera exigua in Chonnam area of K Korea in 1990. Male adults were attracted to phermone trap from mid-June to late November w with the peaks at mid-late August, mid-late September and early-mid November in vinyl i house and also were attracted from mid October to late November in field. Primary peak of occurrence in vinyl house was 20 days sooner than field. It seems to have 6 generations a year in C Chonnam region based on the estimation of larval biomass. Daily male flight was active from m midnight to before sunrise with the peak at 4-6 A.M .. In injury characteristics at various host plants, damage was great in early growing stage at below 10 cm of plant height in Allium fistulsum. Chrysanthemum morifolium was damaged at mostly upper part of leaves reaching to m the extent up to 70%. In case of Gypsophila paniculata, plants injured at early growing stage do n not grow and flower normally.

In Korea, permeable protection clothes for chemical agent is being developed and distributed. But permeable protection clothes are vulnerable for biological agent of particle type. Therefore selective permeable membranes are being developed to protect chemical agent and biological agent simultaneously. In this study, aerosol collection efficiency test was performed to validate the protection performance of permeable clothes and selective permeable membranes. Aerosol collection efficiency test was performed by using the aerosol test equipment that could test aerosol particle diameter from $0.005{\mu}m$ to $3.0{\mu}m$. This study shows the test method and performance test results for collection efficiency by using the aerosol test equipment.

The group management system with Wireless Sensor Network and android application is proposed in this paper. The proposed system was composed of personal devices with sensor nodes of WSN, manager device of android platform, and the web server. The sensor node used by each group member send a data packet to the manager device every 2 seconds. The leader device displays and transmits entire information to the web server. The web server represents these information through web page. Therefore, guardians can assure their group member's safety and security on the web page. The RSSI value of each sensor node converted by computed log-normal path loss model into distance value and displays on the manager device and the web page.

This is a comparative study mainly on foreign countries' domestic standards and laws on barrier free housing construction that can be applied to the dwelling of elderly friendly apartment housing. Eight countries - the United States, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and China - were reviewed as foreign cases. The analyzed subjects were design standards only for the disabled and the aged. To compare barrier-free guides of the eight countries, each barrier-free guide on three space units (entrance, bedroom, living room) was divided into 11 design items and 36 design factors. The comparative analysis on foreign cases was based on the design guide according to Korea's KS P 1509 (principle and recommendation for designing dimension of dwelling in consideration of the elderly). Some factors -if with dimensions- were compared by means of the skewness of distribution. In the analysis result, there were not only common standards for the nine countries such as a dimension of the space for wheelchair movement but also different standards such as heights of outlets and horizontal lengths of bathtub grab bars. The detailed analysis shows that it is urgently necessary to prepare new domestic national design standards for 8 factors that foreign countries already have. It is also needed to immediately prepare dimension standards for the design factors, which have no detailed dimensions but only national guides, in consideration for anthropometric dimension.

This paper propose a dormitory management system based on 13.56MHz RFID system. The proposed dormitory management system consists of three parts, the RFID hardware system the middleware, and the application. RFID hardware system uses 13.56MHz frequency which is suitable for a close range. The middleware is implemented to accept the RFID hardware system values using RS-232c communication method and forward the values to the application. The application is designed to make the DB using the forwarded values, and works based on the DB. The efficacy of the proposed dormitory management system is verified by means of experiments. In the experiments, we set up the system to the dormitory of Daeduk College to show the improvement results of proposed system.
