Industrial Use of Back Belt for Preventing Low Back Injury : A Literature Review (허리부상을 방지하기 위한 허리보호대의 작업현장 사용에 대한 연구: 문헌고찰)

  • 최근에 작업현장에서 널리 사용되고 있는 허리보호대는 그 예방적 효과에 대한 확실한 검증이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 8편의 생체역학적(biomechanical) 연구들과 6편의 역학적(epidemiological) 연구들 그리고 2편의 종합적 연구들을 비교 정리하였다. 대부분의 생체역학적 연구들은 허리보호대의 기계적 작용과 그에 따른 예방적 효과와의 직접적인 상관관계를 보여주지 못하고 있다. 역학적 연구들은 일관성 없는 결과들을 발표하여 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 연구결과간의 비교를 어렵게 하고 있다. 좀더 확실한 결론을 얻기 위해서 앞으로 작업현장에서의 허리보호대의 예방적 효과에 대한 더 많은 연구가 있어야 할 것이다.

  • 현재 사용하고 있는 안전대는 벨트가 허리와 엉덩이 부분에 매여지도록 되어 있고, 충격흡수능력이 부족하여 추락시 허리나 하반신을 다치게 할 수 있으며 중량이 무겁다는 결점이 있다. 또한 이 제품은 작업복 위에 별도로 착용해야 하는 번거로움이 있어서 근로자들이 이의 착용을 기피하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 근로자가 실수하여 추락을 한다고 하여도 추락시 충격흡수가 완만하되 정확하여 충격에 의한 상처나 허리부상이 없고 착용하기가 편리한 새로운 안전보호장구를 고안 제시하려 한다.(중략)

  • 소방 구급 업무는 매년 증가 추세에 있으며, 119 구급대원의 부상은 들것으로 과체중의 환자 이송 및 구출 작업 시 급격한 힘을 사용할 때 나타나며 환자 운반 시 몸통의 비틀림 및 체간의 굽힘 등 부적절한 자세로 인하여 근 골격계 질환 및 부상의 발생 가능성이 높은 것으로 보고되고 있다. 미국 응급구조사에서는 47%가 허리 부상의 경험을 말했으며 구급대원들의 요통을 예방할 수 있는 방법적인면의 중재가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 119 구급대원의 근골격 질환자에게 테이핑을 이용하여 실제 작업 현장에서 많이 사용되는 환자 이송에 따른 허리 통증 시 통증에 따른 근활성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 연구가 실시되었다.

  • 기존 복근운동 관련 어플리케이션들은 윗몸일으키기에 한해 횟수를 세서 기록해 주는 앱들이 많이 개발 중이다. 윗몸일으키기가 대중화되어 있긴 하지만 자칫 복근이 아닌 허리힘으로 상체를 들어 올릴 때 부상의 위험이 크다. 또한 뒷머리를 손으로 당겨서 목이 과도하게 숙여지게 운동 할 때 목 디스크 유발에도 지장을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 손은 귀 옆에 데고 허리는 바닥에서 떨어지지 않게 허리 위 상체만 들어 올리는 크런치 운동을 측정하기 위하여 방향 센서에 의한 횟수를 기록하는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다.

A Study on the Rehabilitation Exercise by Bike Pain and Injury and Fitting

  • The purpose of this study is to improve pain and injury through bicycle fitting and to propose rehabilitation methods. Pain and injuries caused by bicycles can be largely divided into knee and ankle pain, wrist, shoulder, neck, and back pain, and hip pain. The cause of these pains and injuries stems from incorrect bicycle fitting and posture. In order to improve these pain and injuries and prevent recurrence, appropriate bicycle fitting and rehabilitation exercise are needed. Pain and injury are divided into kinetic pain and pain by a fixed posture. In the case of kinetic pain, rehabilitation exercise is required along with inflammatory treatment, and pain by a fixed posture should understand the exact characteristics of the body and learn and practice bicycle posture according to the body's characteristics. Through this method, it can contribute to preventing the recurrence of bicycle pain and injuries and further creating an environment where a safe bicycle culture can be established.

  • Primary prevention of low back injury in industry has focused on assessing the person's ability to perform physical labor. If the job to be performed is known to require lifting and moving of materials which could stress the low back, then special consideration is given to the health and functional capability of the person, s back. The major pursuit in lifting task of research is to provide objective criteria based upon all of the relevant mechanical parameters which describe both man art task so as to minimize the probabilities of injury within the economic constraints of each organization. The purpose of this study is to predict the back compression of persons asked to lift objects while assuming different position by computer simulation. The primary result of this study is that the incidence of low back injury is correlated with higher lifting strenth requirements as determined by assessment of both the location and magnitude of the load lifted. It is, therefore, recommended that load lifting be considered potentially hazardous, and the action limit and the maximum permissiable limit be used to guide corrective action.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the kinetic effect of Soft-$golf^{TM}$ instrument on the human body structure. To analyze the kinetic effect of Soft-$golf^{TM}$ instrument, Golf swing using Soft-$golf^{TM}$ instrument and regular golf instrument was captured. And then Upper limbs and lumbar joint torques was calculated via computer simulation. Five man participated this study. Subjects performed golf swing using a regular golf and Soft-$golf^{TM}$ instrument. Golf swing motion was captured using three position sensor, active infrared LED maker and force plate. Golf swing model was generated and simulated using ADAMS/LifeMOD program. As a results, joint torque during Soft-golf swing were lower than regular golf swing. Thus soft-golf swing have joint load lower than regular golf swing and contribute to reduce joint injury.

Correlation between body alignment and foot pressure in high School Baseball Players (고등학교 야구선수들의 신체정렬과 족저압 분포 간의 상관관계 분석)

  • This study was undertaken to provide correct posture guidance and reference material for sports injury and injury prevention programs, by analyzing body alignment and plantar pressure distribution in high school baseball players. Totally, 32 subjects were enrolled for the study. Body alignment was measured from the trunk imbalance, kyphotic angle, lordotic angle, pelvic tilt, and pelvic torsion. Foot pressure was measured from the left maximum pressure, right maximum pressure, left weight, and right weight. The mean and standard deviation of the measured factors were calculated and tabulated, and the correlation between body alignment and foot pressure distribution was analyzed using Pearson's correlation analysis. All statistical significance levels were set at 0.05. Body alignment and foot pressure distribution show a positive correlation between the lordotic angle of lumbar spine and the left maximum pressure. There was no correlation between trunk imbalance, kyphotic angle, lordotic angle, pelvic tilt, pelvic torsion, and the left·right weight distribution and the left·right maximum pressure of each foot. Results of this study determined that the increase of the lordotic angle of lumbar spine results in more force on one side of the foot, thereby increasing the maximum pressure. We believe our data could be a reference for exercise programs on physical alignment and plantar pressure distribution of athletes.
