With the rapid increase in information and the development of information technologies, the importance of information management is increasing for individuals. The study aimed to examine how the motivations or disturbance factors of personal information management affect college students. First, the motivation and disturbance factors of personal information management were derived through the analysis of previous studies, and the effects of these factors on information organization and information management activities were analyzed. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was conducted for college students at a university in Seoul and a total of 593 valid responses were analyzed. The study found that the motivations or disturbance factors of personal information management influenced personal information management behavior. The study extends the literature of personal information management by analyzing the information management behavior of individuals and identifying the factors influencing such behavior. Furthermore, the finding of the study suggests the practical implications that it is essential to provide personal information management education so that college students can manage personal information efficiently.
Regulatory agencies' response to resource constraints is an important issue in terms of regulatory effectiveness, but systematic research is lacking. As an effort to overcome this limitation, this study was to explore behaviors of regulatory agencies in response to resource constraints. Reviewing the precedent studies based on regulatory and organizational theories, the study suggested the potential behaviors of regulatory agencies under resource constraints: changes in regulatory processes, changes in enforcement methods, decoupling, and regulatory delegation and contracting-out. The study also discussed the realistic explanations of the response behaviors partly through the case of marine transportation regulation, and explained the problems that the regulatory agency's behaviors could bring about. Based on the findings, the study suggested that the regulatory framework should be designed to ensure the effectiveness of the regulatory system in consideration of the regulatory agencies' behaviors under resource constraints. The study is expected to contribute to developing a theoretical analysis framework ultimately for an empirical study in the future.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the association between dietary behavior and related factors according to the generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adolescents. The results of analyzing demographic characteristics according to the GAD showed that gender, age, BMI, type of school, residence type, father's nationality, smoking and drinking experience, perceived health status, perception of body shape, economic status, academic achievement, physical activity, sedentary time and smartphone usage time were related to the GAD (p<0.01). The results of analyzing dietary behavior according to the GAD showed that the frequency of water intake, sweetened beverage intake, fast food intake, fruit intake and breakfast intake were related to the GAD (p<0.001). The results of analyzing depression and suicidality according to the GAD showed that depression, suicidal ideation, planning, and attempts were all related to the GAD (p<0.001). Even after adjusting for factors corresponding to demographic characteristics, it was confirmed that the level of GAD had a significant effect on depression and suicidality. This study is significant in that it provided basic data on adolescent mental health problems by analyzing dietary behavior and related factors according to the level of GAD.
In this study, radiation workers who work in nuclear medicine department were analyzed to find the cause of differences of radiation exposure from General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition and Conduct, especially females working on nuclear medicine radiation, in order to pave the way for positive defense against radiation exposure. The subjects were 106 radiation workers who were divided into two groups of sixty-four males and forty-two females answered questions about their General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition, Conduct, and radiation exposure dose which was measured by TLD (Thermo Luminescence Dosimeter). The results of the analysis revealed that as the higher score of knowledge and conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in female groups, and as the higher score of conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in male groups. In the correlation analysis of female groups, the non-experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of knowledge and conduct was higher and the experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of recognition and conduct was higher. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of nuclear medicine radiation workers, the gender caused the meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of female groups compared to male groups. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of female groups, the factor of conduct showed a meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of the experienced in pregnancy was lower compared to the non-experienced. The conclusion of this study revealed that radiation exposure of female groups was lower than that of male groups. Therefore, male groups need to more actively defend themselves against radiation exposure. Among the female groups, the experienced in pregnancy who have an active defense tendency showed a lower radiation exposure. Thus, those who have never been pregnant need to have a more active defensive conduct for the future possibility of pregnancy.

The purpose of this study is to enhance the efficiency of library space usage through analyzing users' behavior in an academic library. Diary methodology was applied for collecting users' activities in the library. 108 students participated in this study, but 84 students submitted their diaries. Among them, 14 participants were interviewed to identify barriers and their needs in using the library. The findings suggest rearranging IT devices to increase use rate of those devices, making plans for reusing the space where it is rarely used, and improving the accessibility of information through browsing in the bookstack area. Additionally, time analysis of users' activities was used to analyze students' behavior in the library.

In this study in order to verify the overall information seeking behavior of the Web-based OPAC users, it was analyzed transaction log file for 7 years. Regarding Web-based OPAC information seeking behavior, it was studied from the perspective of information seeking strategy and information seeking failure. In search strategy, it was analyzed search type, search options, Boolean operator, length of search text, number of uses of word, number of use Web-based OPAC, number of use by time, by week day. Also, in search failure, search failure ratio, search failure ratio by search options, search failure ratio by Boolean operator were analyzed. The result of this study is expected to be utilized for OPAC system and service improvement in the future.
Recently, personal information processing are becoming more important in the behavioral advertising based on online and mobile platform. The purpose of this study is to analyze undergraduate nursing students' electronic document use and reading behavior. To do this, a survey questionnaire was collected from 509 respondents who experienced reading behavior for the last semester. The results of this study show that nursing students' preference of electronic documents is higher than that of printed documents in general. They also prefer electronic documents to printed documents when they want to keep documents. Of respondents, about 94% or higher spent 30mins or more to find information and the main source to find information is 'Naver' search engine as the highest information source, and the place to access information is 'Home' as their highest information access location. In particular, the preference of the document 'on the move' is electronic documents and the main reason includes convenience and easiness to access and move the documents. The findings of this study expect to facilitate the understanding of undergraduate nursing students electronic document use and reading behavior so that it can be used to design and develop medical digital library services and tools more effectively and efficiently in medical area in the future. Furthermore, it expects to provide useful data in promoting user services in digital library in a whole.

This research reviews literature regarding information use behavior published during the period of 1970 to 2014 in Korea. It aims to identify the researchers' information use behavior in specialized fields and contributes to provide the effective information services based on users' needs. In order to do that, it reviews research papers that are associated with information use behavior by primarily examining the subjects, methods, variables, results, and suggestions of collected literature. It reveals some differences among researchers according to their fields, career, and status while researchers in various fields make appearance the change of information use up to digital environments. It is suggested that information services based on the users' characteristics should be provided.
