This study aimed to investigate the differences in the upper and lower limits of the 95% distribution of fasting blood glucose (FBG) by age groups. We also analyzed the changes in the mean values and dispersion of the data using the Korean Blood Glucose Reference Standard raw data published by the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). Furthermore, the trends among 16 administrative districts were analyzed and any gender differences were determined. We also assessed whether the study results correlated with the relative standard uncertainty, as published by the NHIS. On the dispersion analysis using the differences between the upper and lower limits of the 95% distribution of FBG by age group, there were significant differences across gender and administrative districts (P<0.05). The gender differences in FBG measurements, as published by the NHIS, were significant across different administrative districts and age groups (P<0.001). This confirmed the need to recalculate the blood glucose reference standards for men and women. No significant correlation was observed between the relative standard uncertainty, as published by NHIS, and the dispersion and number of measurements analyzed in this study. However, it showed a high correlation with the measured mean value (R²=0.95). Therefore, further research on the reference standard and uncertainty is needed.

The spread and expansion of pests and pathogens due to climate change have caused considerable reduction of rice yield in agricultural landscapes. This study was conducted to quantitatively analyze the spread of rice pathogens carried by insect pests on spatial network in South Korea using graph-theoretic methods. We identified the connectivity "backbone" of pathogen spread network among the cities along the coastal area of West Sea. In addition, we graphically represented 1) the core areas that can cause local and regional outbreaks of pathogens; and 2) the areas that act as bottlenecks in the spread of pathogen which can link the core areas. Especially, the cities in the coastal areas of West Sea that have the high density of rice crops, represented a low spread resistance to pathogen infection. These results may suggest insights into planning the integrated pest management possibly through regional collaboration.

본 논문은 한글 주소의 오인식 수정에 관한 연구로서, 필기자의 다양한 필기 형태와 입력 장치의 특성으로 인하여 문자 인식 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 혼동을 줄이고 오류를 효율적으로 수정하는 후처리 알고리즘을 소개한다. 특히, 주소의 행정 구역부에 대해서는 정합해야 할 문자 모델의 범위를 줄여줌으로써 높은 인식률과 처리 속도를 기록하였으며, 문자 인식의 결과에 임계값과 백트랙킹 방법을 도입한 후처리 알고리즘을 적용하여 더욱더 높은 인식률을 나타낼 수 있었다. 번지부와 건물부에 대한 오인식도 제안된 각각의 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 효과적으로 수정할 수 있었다. 우리나라의 25,000여 행정 구역을 바탕으로 작성 가능한 주소들 중에서 임의의 150개 주소 데이타에 대하여 제안된 후처리 방법을 포함한 다양한 후처리 방법으로 실험한 결과, 행정 구역부에 대하여 98%이상의 높은 인식률을 보임으로써, 제안된 후처리 알고리즘이 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

This research is aimed at offering a fundamental data for the adjustment of cadastral inconsistency of administrative boundary areas from this time onward by analyzing actual conditions of cadastral inconsistency at the study areas by the use of digital topographic map and digital cadastral map of si-gun-gu boundary area. As a result of examining the actual condition of cadastral inconsistency at the surveyed areas, the extent of cadastral inconsistency of the neighboring administrative boundary areas was assessed as ${\pm}3.15m$ of RMSE on X coordinates and also assessed as ${\pm}2.85\;m$ of RMSE on Y coordinates; in addition, RMSE of the neighboring district of the administrative boundary areas on X coordinates was assessed as ${\pm}1.33\;m$, and ${\pm}0.75\;m$ of RMSE on Y coordinates respectively-thus, this research could suggest the fact that there has arisen a lot of cadastral inconsistency areas at administrative boundary areas.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the set of the factors influencing on the successful voluntary consolidation among local governments. This paper considers the voluntary consolidation as a kind of coordination mechanism and institutional collective action process between local governments, and identifies the configurations of the causal factors influencing the voluntary consolidations by applying the fuzzy-set analysis. It is found that the sets of the causal factors which include political and economic homogeneity factors in the region, and interlocal political, economic, and social homogeneity factors, and prior consolidation experience between regions have positive effects on the consolidations. Also, it turns out that interlocal homogeneity and conformity between regions should be considered significantly for institutionalization which supports the consolidation between local entities.

2015년부터 우편번호를 대체하는 국가기초구역번호를 기반으로, 기존 읍면동 구분을 국가기초구역으로 대체하여 도서관에서 지역분포 분석 서비스를 제공하는 방안을 모색하였다. 기존에 제공하던 법정동 기준의 지역 구분은 균일한 크기의 지역 구분이 쉽지 않아 이를 행정동 기준으로 전환하고, 이 경계를 바탕으로 국가기초구역에 최대한 일치하도록 구역을 설정하여 기존 읍면동 체제와 크게 어긋나지 않으면서 새로운 국가기초구역제도를 조기에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.
