Analysis of the Involving Mechanism of Kim Eun-Sook Drama : Focused on the Audience's Predictability and the Activities of Constructing Hypotheses (김은숙 드라마 <도깨비>의 몰입기제 구축과정 분석 - 관람자 예측성과 가설 구성 활동을 중심으로 -)

  • In the entertainment industry, risk management is crucial for securing competitiveness due to the risk of investment. The competitiveness of contents is reinforced when external factors such as industrial environment and internal factors centering on involving mechanism are simultaneously provided. The involving mechanism is a form of cognitive response behavior of the audience and occurs through signal processing of the brain when watching the image contents. The signal processing of the brain related to the contents watching is mainly performed in the working memory area, and in the case of the captivating movie, the information other than the contents transmitted to the audience is blocked to generate a temporary dissociation state. A dissociation state similar to a symptom such as hypnosis or amnesia occurs when the audience's level of involving is high. On the other hand, contents information in which the audience is concentrating his attention is used intensively for constructing future thinking through an episodic buffer while the inflow of external information is relatively blocked or delayed. The spectator's future thinking configuration takes the form of a hypothesis-forming activity and is based on the predictability of the brain. When these hypothesized behaviors correspond to the problem solving simulation of story and predictability which is an evolutionary function of the brain, the audience' s brain is involved in the contents at a high level. In order for the act to be effective, the factors such as the background of the hypothesis, the subject of the hypothesis, the internal information of the person, the type and position and quantity of the hypothesis information, and the hypothesis relevance and type of information are important. Based on these factors, analysis of the Kim Eun Sook Drama 'Goblin' shows that the above elements are operated in a very organic and meaningful way.

  • 최근 웹과 가상환경에서는 사실감과 몰입감을 증대시키고 사용자와 상호작용 할 수 있는 아바타의 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으나, 아바타 동작의 제어를 위한 기존의 연구들은 하위 동작과 관련된 복잡한 데이터를 포함하고 있어서 사용자가 작성하기에는 난해한 점이 많았고, 다양한 작업 도메인에 적용할 때에는 해당 도메인에 맞게 언어를 재 작성해야 하는 문제점이 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사용자가 작성하기 쉬운 형태로 정의된 작업수준의 행위 표현 언어와 작성된 행위의 세부 동작들을 위한 동작 표현 언어를 각각 정의하고, 행위 표현 언어를 동작 표현 언어로 변환시키기 위해 Interpreter를 구현하였으며, 아바타의 모션라이브러리를 구축하여 Cyberclass 아바타 시스템을 구현하였다 또한 제안된 행위 표현 언어를 기존 연구와 비교하여, 행위 표현 언어가 아바타의 행위에 대해 좀 더 간단하게 작성 되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The Influence of Internal And External Virtuous Behaviors on Job Performance: Focusing on the creating research model for the virtuous behaviors through qualitative research (내적·외적 미덕적 행위가 업무성과에 미치는 영향 - 질적 연구를 통한 연구모형 개발을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine that internal virtue (i.e. virtue between organizational members) and external virtue (i.e. virtue between organizational members and external members) positively associate with job performance when considering organizational identification, positive work-related identity, affective commitment, emotional exhaustion, and collective self-esteem as mediators. Virtue in organization has received attention as critical attribute of positive organizational scholarship. Cameron(2003) defined the study of virtue as a study of the capacity, attributes, and reserve in organization that facilitates the expression of positive deviance among organization member. In addition, this study contributes to the qualitative investigation on how internal giving virtue (i.e. the employees' virtue for their organization), internal receiving virtue (i.e. virtue employees receive from their organization), external giving virtue (i.e. the organization's virtue for society), and external receiving virtue (i.e. virtue the organization receives from society), used as independent variables, influence job performance after creating research model for the four virtuous behaviors through qualitative research. Therefore, this research contributes to the creation of research model for virtuous behaviors within organizations and virtuous behaviors with external members through qualitative study and sheds light on how these variables influence job performance by virtue of qualitative research.

Relationship of Goal Orientation, Flow Experience and Self-Accomplishment among College Students Receiving Lifeguard Education (수상인명구조 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향, 몰입경험 및 자아성취감에 관계된 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of goal orientation, flow experience and self-accomplishment among students who received lifeguard education. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the task-involvement of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which was one of the sub-variables of goal orientation, had an impact on cognitive flow and behavioral flow, and ego-involvement affected cognitive flow. Second, the task-involvement of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which was one of the sub-variables of goal orientation, exercised an influence on their self-realization, display of ability and development of ability, which were the task-involvement of self-accomplishment. Besides, ego-involvement impacted on self-realization. Third, the cognitive flow and behavioral flow of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which were the sub-variables of flow experience, exerted an influence on self-realization, display of ability and development of display, which were the sub-variables of self-accomplishment. Fourth, the goal orientation of the college students receiving lifeguard education had a firsthand relationship to flow experience and self-accomplishment, and that had a secondhand causal relationship to self-accomplishment through flow experience as well.

Changes in the Self-Efficacy, Exercise Commitment, and Health-related Quality of Life of the Adults with Intellectual Disability through the Participation of Swimming Program (성인 지적장애인들의 수영 프로그램 참여에 따른 자아효능감과 운동 몰입, 건강관련 삶의 질의 변화)

  • Study purpose is to analyze the changes in the level of self-efficacy, exercise commitment, and health related quality of life of the adults with intellectual disability through the swimming program participation. Study subjects were 12 adults with intellectual disability residing in a residential care facility and they participated in 12 weeks swimming program. Changes in the level of self-efficacy, exercise commitment, and health quality of life were analyzed. To measure self-efficacy, General Self-Efficacy Scale was used and the level of general, social and physical self-efficacy was measured. To measure exercise commitment, Exercise Commitment Scale was used and the level of cognitive and behavioral commitment was measured. To measure health related quality of life, Short Form-8 Health Survey was used and the level of general health quality of life was measured. As the results after the swimming program participation, the level of self-efficacy, exercise commitment, and health related quality of life of the subjects was statistically significant improved. Swimming program participation acts to positively improve the level of self-efficacy, exercise commitment, and health related quality of life of the adults with intellectual disability. Thus, the application of swimming program for them should be considered.

The effect of Job Satisfaction on Altruism and Civic Virtue: The mediating role of Chinese employees' organizational commitment (직무만족이 이타주의와 시민정신에 미치는 영향 : 중국 종업원들 조직몰입의 매개효과)

  • This study investigated the effect of job satisfaction on altruism and civic virtue, also explored the mediating role of organizational commitment on these relationships in the Chinese setting. We tested on a sample of 246 employees working in three Chinese companies. The results of PLS Structural equation modeling showed that job satisfaction has a positive impact on organizational commitment, and organizational commitment has a positive impact on altruism and civic virtue. Further, organizational commitment partially mediated the relationship between job satisfaction and altruism, and civic virtue.

The Effect of Leader Emotional Labor on Followers' Work Engagement : Examining the Role of Followers' PsyCap and Quality of LMX (리더의 감정노동이 부하의 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 : 심리적 자본과 상사-부하관계의 효과 연구)

  • Almost all research on emotional labor has focused on how services workers use emotional labor. However, this study examined that leaders' emotional labor influence follower's outcomes. Especially, this study tested how the leader emotional labor influence followers' work engagement and mediating role of PsyCap between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. In addition, this study investigated the quality of LMX as moderator the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. The SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 was used in this study. The results collected from 469 employees in domestic large Telecom and their related companies revealed that leader emotional labor positively influence followers' work engagement and PsyCap. Especially, leader deep acting and surface acting positively influence followers' work engagement, but not display of genuine emotion, and leader deep acting only positively influence followers' PsyCap. Furthermore, followers' PsyCap partially mediated the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. Finally, the quality of LMX as moderator in link between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement showed when followers in high-quality LMX. Implication and suggestion for future study are discussed.

Structural Relationship among User Experience, Flow and Satisfaction of Electronic Hogu System in the Taekwondo Game (태권도 경기에서 전자호구 시스템의 사용자 경험, 몰입 및 만족의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effects of user experience on flow and satisfaction of electronic hogu system in the taekwondo game. The subjects were players who had experience using electronic hogu system in the taekwondo game for 2014 year 7month~10month. 652 samples out of 750 samples through convenient sampling method were adopted as a final data. We confirmed the goodness of fit test of the model, utilizing SPSS WIN Ver 18.0, and AMOS 7.0, and after which we tested each hypothesis. The results were as follows; First, sentient, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, relational experience of user experience did not have a significant influence on cognition flow. Second, sentient, emotional, relational experience of user experience did not have a significant influence on behavioral flow. Third, cognitive, behavioral experience of user experience had a significant influence on behavioral flow. Fourth, cognition, behavioral flow had a significant influence on satisfaction. Fifth, factor between native and foreigner taekwondo players had significantly different. This paper is a meaningful to figure out user satisfaction of electronic hogu system in taekwondo games and maximize athletic performance.

Effects of Servant Leadership of Security Martial Arts Instructors on the Exercise Commitment and Training Satisfaction (경호무도 지도자의 서번트 리더십이 운동몰입 및 수련만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study is to examine the effects of servant leadership of security martial arts instructors on the exercise commitment and training satisfaction of trainees. To achieve the objective of this study, the data was collected from 300 trainees of security martial arts gyms located in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do regions by using the convenience sampling method. Total 281 questionnaires were used for the analysis after excluding 19 questionnaires. Using the SPSS 23.0 for data-process, this study conducted the frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. First, all the variables showed positive(+) correlations. Second, the presentation of vision of instructors' servant leadership had positive(+) effects on the behavioral commitment while the devoted attitude of instructors' servant leadership had positive(+) effects on the cognitive commitment. Third, the presentation of vision, formation of community, and support for growth of instructors' servant leadership had positive(+) effects on the psychological elements while the presentation of vision and support for growth had positive(+) effects on the environmental elements. The presentation of vision and formation of community had positive(+) effects on the physical elements while the presentation of vision and formation of community had positive(+) effects on the educational elements. The presentation of vision, formation of community, and support for growth had positive(+) effects on the social elements. Fourth, both cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment out of trainees' exercise commitment had positive(+) effects on the psychological elements, environmental elements, physical elements, and educational elements of training satisfaction while only the cognitive commitment had positive(+) effects on the social elements. In summary, the security martial arts instructors should show the leadership like presentation of vision and devotion, and also try hard to satisfy the expectation in many areas to raise the exercise commitment.

A Study on the Effect of Self Leadership on Goal Commitment : The Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy (셀프 리더십이 목표몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 자기 효능감의 매개효과 검증)

  • This study is about self-leadership, which is leadership that we exercise over ourselves. In this study, I analyzed the effects of self-leadership on students' focusing on their goal commitments and self-efficacy's role as link between self-leadership and students' focusing on their goal commitments. In order to accomplish research purposes, I conducted a survey of 300 University students in Busan and carry out empirical study of 276 University students. As a result of analysis, I draw conclusions as follows. First, Hypothesis1 is adopted because the research results show that self-leadership has positive effects on students' focusing their goal commitments. Second, Hypothesis2 is adopted because the research results show that self-leadership has positive effects on students' self-efficacy. Third, Hypothesis3 is adopted because the research results show that self-efficacy has positive effects on student's focusing on their goal commitments. Forth, I conducted Mediating regression to see if self-efficacy plays a mediator role between self-leadership and student's focusing on their commitments. And the results show that behavior-focused strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies and natural reward strategies have perfect mediating effects. This study shows the importance of building self-leadership for young generations to be effective leaders of themselves.
