  • The study was performed to identify the process of change, decisional balance, self-efficacy and social support corresponding to the stage of exercise behavior change and the applicability of social support of women in nursing college based on a Transtheoretical Model. The subjects consisted of 223 women in nursing college by convenience sampling and the data were analyzed by IBM SPSS 21.0 program. The subjects were distributed in each stage of change of behaviors: 17.9% in the precontemplation stage, 54.3% in the contemplation stage, 16.6% in the preparation stage, 4.5% in the action stage and 6.7% in the maintenance stage. Analysis of variance showed that consciousness raising, dramatic relief, self reevaluation, social liberation, counter conditioning, helping relationship, reinforcement management, self liberation, stimulus control, pros, cons and self-efficacy were significantly associated with the stages of exercise behaviors. But there was no significant difference in social support. The transtheoretical model would be applicable to explain the exercise behavior of women in nursing college. This study will be useful information for developing effective exercise programs considering nursing female students' stages of change in exercise behavior.

  • The purpose of this study is to present factors and strategies for successful rewarded-crowdfunding of companies. For this, rewarded-crowdfunding based on the extended theory of planned behavior(E-TPB) by adding individual innovation and risk preference as extended variables, in addition to the basic variables of the theory of planned behavior(TPB), including attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control. In addition, the moderating effect of rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed. In addition, the moderating effect of the rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed, and exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for questionnaires who were aware of the concept of rewarded-crowdfunding. As a result of testing the hypothesis, it was found that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and risk preference affect the intention to invest in rewarded-crowdfunding. Also, we could find that perceived behavior control and risk preference were moderately influenced by investor who had experience in rewarded-crowdfunding. Based on the research results, it has academic and practical value by presenting the direction of enhancing the success of rewarded-crowdfunding that companies can use as a way to raise funds and boost sales.

  • This study started from the basis of necessity on the researches which asserts that parental rearing behavior in the modern society should change reflecting the social change of sociocultural environment. For this, parental rearing behavior of social constructivism and existing parental rearing behavior were contemplated while construct of parental rearing behavior was explored on the basis of main causes from Vygotsky's theory in order to prepare paradigm of new parental rearing behavior. As far as the method of study goes, various literature from relevant scholars were analyzed, centering various previously conducted studies pertaining to parental rearing behaviors as well as Vygotsky's theory. Also, the validity of the contents was confirmed through consult and revision from three experts. As the result, five factors were extracted. First, factor of cooperative interaction on social interaction. Secondly, emphasis on Internalization factor on social constructive behavior. Thirdly, potential development factor in zone of proximal development. Fourthly, instructional conversation factor as semiotic medium. Lastly, assistance factor as scaffolding. As a result, new paradigm of parental rearing behavior was presented and opened a prospect in developing the touchstone of parental rearing behavior pursuant to social constructivism.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine predictors of move intention to welfare housing in Korea. Participants completed a questionnaire which included measures of socioeconomic variables, variables of the theory of planned behavior. The data was collected from 380 elderly women over the age of 60 in Korea. This study was examined by statistical analysis on SPSS program 18.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, the attitude of elderly women have a positive effect on welfare housing. Second, the subjective norm of elderly women have a positive effect on welfare housing. Third, the perceived behavioral control of elderly women positively effect on welfare housing. The results of this study prove that attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control is part of the theory of planned behavior. The finding shows that modified, the theory of planned behavior can be used as a guide in predicting behavioral intention. we should be responsible for the follow-up and monitoring of situations and reevaluate periodically to ensure that needs are being met and services are appropriate. • In this study, factors influencing the parking policy compliance (i.e. levying a garage option on car buyers) were identified, and then, were applied to the theory of planned behavior. To find out the influence of factors and their path, the study built a parking policy compliance model using structural equation modeling. The independent variables such as attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control had positive effects on the parameter describing the efforts to secure his garage, but the parameter impact on the dependent variable was not significant. In the end, the independent variables affected the dependent variable was not significant. The perceived behavioral control utilizing regulations had positive effects on the parking policy compliance behavior, but past behavior such as street parking and prowling to find a free parking space had a negative effect on parking policy compliance behavior.

  • Many Korean colleges funded by the Korean government have actively implemented LINC (Leaders INdustry-university Cooperation) programs to facilitate practical training since 2012. The LINC programs have two major different categories, a technologically and innovative focused program and a field-centered program. A number of studies have applied the TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior) model proposed by Fishbein and Azjen successfully to predict the behavioral intention in many areas, such as marketing, environmental purchasing, and technology, etc. On the other hand, few studies have applied the TPB within industry-university cooperation settings. The purpose of this study was to empirically test the applicability of the TPB model in predicting the employees' participation in LINC programs. To investigate the study's purpose, a closed-ended questionnaire, composed of a total of 32 questions based on previous studies, was developed, and the data from 115 out of 132 employees in the participating companies of LINC were utilized. Specific analysis of the study showed that the attitudes, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control were significant predictors of the LINC intention. In addition, the LINC intention was a significant predictor of the participation in LINC.

  • This study investigated South Korean citizens' political communication and deliberation through Twitter during the 2014 General Election, focusing on influential opinion leaders' political information behaviors. Individual semi-structured interviews were administered with 13 opinion leaders using the multiple interview modes of email interviews, Skype interview and face to face interviews. Through the analytical lens of the theory of Information Worlds, the chosen social types and social norms of opinion leaders impacted their political information behaviors, including how they assessed, shared, exchanged, or avoided information, and, in turn, created boundaries between and around their information worlds that allowed for both conflict and synergy.
