Mediation Effect of Positive Psychological Capital on the Relation between Self-Concept and Core Competencies in Gifted Youth (영재 청소년의 자아개념과 핵심역량간의 관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify gifted adolescents' self-concept, core competencies and positive psychological capital correlations, and to investigate the mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the relationship between self-concept and core competencies of gifted youths. Therefore we surveyed gifted youths in Jeonbuk regions concerning self-concept, core competencies, and positive psychological capital. 221 samples were statistically analyzed. To understand a mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between self-concept and core competencies, the hierarchical regression analysis was conducted with SPSS 21.0. The findings of the study indicated as follows. First, when a correlation analysis was carried out to explore the relationship of gifted youth's self-concept, core competencies, and positive psychological capital. Second. the results revealed that positive psychological capital of gifted youths had a significant mediation effect on the relationship between their self-concept and core competencies Finally, based on the study findings, suggestions of desirable education and counseling for gifted adolescents.

A Study on the Process of Perceiving Creativity Concept by Kindergarten Teachers (유아 교사들의 창의성교육에 관한 개념을 인식하는 과정에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out qualitative study to figure out the process of the perception of creativity conception by kindergarten teachers in Korea. The interviewees are 4 current teachers in kindergarten in Seoul. Data was collected from semi-structured in-depth interview. Collected data were analyzed using Modified Grounded Theory Approach by Kinoshita, a kind of qualitative research method. As a result of data analysis, kindergarten teachers who experts in child education understood key concepts of creativity as unique thinking and rich expression ability. Such concept is mainly acquired at the class in which direct encounter with children is made. Besides, they formed the concept of creativity through reading books and articles, graduate studies and teaching Nuri Curriculum. In the preceding studies on the concept of creativity targeted to elementary and secondary school teachers, they had shared wide concept, but kindergarten teachers shared only some key concepts on creativity. This result would mean that the concept of creativity in the early children education is relatively coherent and such concept and teaching method are relatively well delivered to children at the education field.

Analyses of Subject Competencies of the Units Related to Core Concept 'Relation' in Middle School Technology-Home Economics Textbooks based on 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서의 핵심개념 '관계' 단원에 구현된 교과역량 분석)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop analysis criteria and analyze the two subject competencies of units dealing with the core concept 'Relation' of the middle school Technology-Home Economics textbook in accordance with the 2015 revised curriculum: 'practical-problem-solving-ability' and 'relationship ability'. The subject of analysis of the current study was the activity assignment of Chapter 1 related to the core concept 'Relation', from the twelve middle school 'Technology-Home Economics II' textbooks. The results of this study were as follows: First, some textbooks showed differences in highlighting or downplaying the components of certain subject competencies. The analysis results for 'practical-problem-solving-ability' in textbook A, E, and G were shown in the high frequency, while in textbook D in the lowest frequency. The analysis results for 'relationship ability' in textbook K and A were shown in the high frequency, while in textbook J in the lowest frequency. Second, Value Judgement was the most frequent component of 'practical-problem-solving-ability' followed by Logical Thinking, Practical Reasoning, and Decision-Making. Family Relation and Sense of Community was the component of 'relationship ability' most frequently dealt with followed by Communication, Conflict Management, and Respecting Others, however Environmental and Ecological Awareness was not shown at all. The two subject competencies were mostly reflected in the Technology-Home Economics textbooks from all the twelve publishers.

미래 디지털 환경에서의 병사체계

  • 이 글은 지난 5월 4일 육군이 개최한 비무기체계 발전 세미나에서 발표된 내용으로 21세기 디지털 전장환경에서 요구되는 병사의 타격능력, 지휘/통제, 생존성, 임무지속성 및 기동성 등을 극대화 할 수 있는 병사체계에 대하여 선진국에서의 병사현대화 체계/기술 발전 추세를 분석하였다. 따라서 2025년경 실현될 체계개념과 전투원의 전쟁에서의 운영개념을 예측하고 병사체계와 관련 소요기술 및 핵심기술을 식별하며, 한국적 개념에 부합하는 독자적인 모델을 단계적으로 정립하고, 국내에서 개발 할 수 있는 첨단 센서 등 핵심기술과 한국적 병사체계에 대한 개방 방안을 제시하였다.

The Development and Application of Coding Stories to Enhance Computational Thinking Abilities (CT 능력 향상을 위한 코딩 동화 개발 및 적용)

  • In this study, We made Computing Stories as a part of the new method of SW education. Also, we have developed unplugged activities using coding stories. We analyzed changes in learning motivation and academic achievement in the core concepts of CT by applying classes to elementary school students. For the development of coding stories, we conducted a questionnaire analysis of 11 expert groups to derive the core concepts of computational Thinking. Using the core concept of Computational Thinking, we developed a coding stories and unplugged activities linked with coding stories. It was confirmed that the score of the core concept of CT before and after class increased from 54.44 to 83.10 and the learning motive was also improved from the average score of 103.48 to 110.44. The results showed that the Coding Stories were effective in the students' Computational thinking achievement and SW learning motives.

Curriculum Deliberation in the Home Economics Historial Literature of United States (미국의 가정과 교육과정 논의와 관련된 역사적 문헌 고찰)

  • This study examined the curriculum deliberation in the home economics historical literature of United State. Out of 13 literature, 9 were carried by academic federation or association and 4 were carried by individual authors. Starting from Catharine Beacher's Treatise on Domestic Economy to NASAFACS's National Standards for Family and Consumer Standards, the background of each document was introduced, curriculum contents organization was examined, and its implication was discussed. The results showed that home economics curriculum has been suggested being organised around key concepts in typical home economics areas throughout the history until the practical problem-focused curriculum organization based on critical science suggested by Majorie M. Brown in 1978. Regardless of the patterns of organization of curriculum contents, home economics pursue the common mission and aims of home economics. Another finding was that curriculum deliberation on the integration of curriculum contents was sought throughout the history.

Analysis of Home Economics Curriculum Using Text Mining Techniques (텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 중학교 가정과 교육과정 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the home economics education curriculum from the first national curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum using text mining techniques used in big data analysis. The subjects of the analysis were 10 curriculum texts from the first national curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum via the National Curriculum Information Center. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, the number of data from the 4th curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum gradually increased. Second, as a result of extracting core concept of the curriculum, there were core concept words that were changed and maintained according to the curriculum. 'Life' and 'home' were core concepts that persisted regardless of changes in the curriculum, after the 2007 revised curriculum, 'problem', 'ability', 'solution' and 'practice' were emphasized. Third, through core concept network analysis for each curriculum, the relationship between core concepts is represented by nodes and lines in each home economics curriculum. As a result, it was confirmed that the core concepts emphasized by the times are strongly connected with 'life' and 'home'. Based on these results, this study is meaningful in that it provides basic data to form the identity and the existing direction of home economics education.

인과의 조종가능성 이론과 간섭

  • 현장의 과학자들이 지닌 인과 개념을 가장 잘 반영하고 있는 것으로 보이는 인과의 조종가능성 이론은 인과 관계를 조종가능성으로 이해할 수 있다는 직관에 기초한다. 즉 C가 E의 원인이라는 것은 C를 조종함으로써 E를 변화시킬 수 있다는 것이다. 이 이론의 핵심 개념인 조종의 이해를 위해 최근 관심의 초점이 되는 간섭은 이상화된 실험 상태에서 국지적 변화를 일으키는 것이라고 이해할 수 있다. 우드워드는 간섭의 의미가 목적에 따라 다르게 구체화될 수 있다는 전제 아래 자신이 제시한 간섭 개념이 펄의 간섭 개념과 다르다고 주장한다. 하지만 본 논문은 이와 같은 우드워드의 주장이 설득력이 없다고 결론짓는다. 본 논문은 우드워드의 간섭 개념이 펄의 간섭 개념과 다르기보다는 펄의 간섭 개념이 암묵적으로 전제하고 있는 바를 구체화하고 있다고 논증한다.

A Comparative Study of Science Textbooks in Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan - Focus on the field of Biology - (우리나라, 싱가포르, 대만의 과학 교과서 비교 연구 - 생명 영역을 중심으로 -)

  • This study analyzed the characteristics of organization scheme and the levels of core concepts in science textbooks used in Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan, which have shown superior achievement according to the TIMSS 2007. Science textbooks in Korea clearly divide the fields of Energy, Matter, Biology, and Earth, presenting the fields in nearly equal proportion in each grade. In the case of Singapore, science textbooks take an integrated content approach, combining concepts from several fields under a single theme. Science textbooks in Taiwan present a single content field in each unit. Also, because each grade engages in a specific field intensively, there are many cases in which concepts related to a single field are studied in a single grade. In view of levels of core concepts, Singapore or Taiwan showed higher achievement than Korea in themes of 'Cell and their Functions', 'Ecosystems', and 'Human Health' under the TIMSS 2007 biology field. Singapore introduces core concepts for these themes in lower grades compared to Korea and presents them repeatedly in several grades. In Taiwan, there are many cases in which these core concepts are taught only once during the course of $3^{rd}$ to $8^{th}$ grade, but the explanations are presented at a level that is suitable to TIMSS 2007 assessment objectives. Considering the results of this analysis, there is a need to reconsider the division of content fields and methods of presenting core concepts in the science textbooks of Korea.

  • 웹그래프는 웹문서 간의 하이퍼링크를 각 웹문서의 핵심어간의 링크관계로 추상화하대 이 관계를 이용하여 핵심어의 개념 그래프를 구축하고 질의의 확장이나 영역지식을 제공하는 개념 기반 검색이 가능한 검색 시스템이다 본 논문에서는 웹그래프에서 가능했던 질의어에 대한 한 단계의 질의 확장에 그치지 않고. 최초의 질의어와 이후 확장어들에 대한 문맥을 유지하대 추가적인 다단계의 확장이 가능하도록 하는 방법을 계시한다. 검색 시스템 사용자는 최초 질의어가 속하는 해당 분야에 대한 지식이 부족한 경우, 문맥을 유지한 확장을 통하여 자신이 찾고자 하는 바를 명확히 해 나가며 세부 질의를 구축할 수 있고 해당 분야에 대한 지식을 얻는 것이 가능하다
