A Study of evaluation methodology and basic data building to apply for the new renewable energy technology on the type of building (건축물의 유형별 신재생에너지 기술을 적용하기 위한 평가방안과 기초자료 구축에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, there is the growing concern about the environment and energy. Such concern has been seen in the field of building. In this study, Analysis was performed about a variety of techniques that can be applied to the building sector. By conducting a survey of expert, Characteristics of each technology and each Building types application are certificated. As a result, The application of renewable energy in buildings and determine the characteristics of each technology are presented. Based on these results, the selection method of the efficient technologies that take advantage of the building of the project from the planning stage are expected.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine improvements relating to lifesaving by the comparative study of The International Life Saving Federation (ILS) and the domestic institutions. ILS divided places into pool, the inland surface water, and the outer surface water and was using a more fine-grained and specialized educational programs due to location and environmental factors. The other side, domestic organizations also conducted various methods depending on each association. In conclusion, we suggest that preferentially we need to establish an educational system which has public confidence and unify the terminology for lifeguard. And the institutions need to popularize the advanced lifesaving system through international exchanges.

  • 물관리 주무부처인 국토해양부(이하 국토부)는 최근의 전 세계적인 기후변화와 더불어 유역의 도시화 등으로 인해 급격한 하천환경 및 사회적 여건변화에 맞추어 "하천법"을 전부개정(법률 제8338호)하여 2008년 4월 7일부터 시행하고 있다. 개정 "하천법"에서는 하천수 사용 관리 조정기능이 크게 강화되어 국가 및 지방하천에서 하천수를 취수하여 특정용도로 사용하려는 경우, 그 취수량에 관계없이 누구나 관할 홍수통제소장에게 허가를 받아야한다. 따라서 국토부 소속기관이자 국가 물관리 전문기관인 홍수통제소는 수문조사, 이수(하천유량 관리 등) 및 치수(홍수예보 등) 등의 주요업무 중 기존 국가하천에 국한되었던 하천수사용 관리를 지방하천까지 확대하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 하천법에 따라 집행된 2009년 국가하천, 지방하천 및 일시적인 하천수 사용 인 허가 행위 등 하천수관리 현황자료를 조사 정리하였다. 현황 자료를 토대로 행정구역(시 도)별, 수계별, 용도별, 허가량별, 월별 분석을 수행하고 그 특성을 파악하였다. 그리고 일시적인 하천수사용은 상기 분석 이외에 하천등급별, 공사종별 분석을 수행하였다. 2009년 총 152건(반려, 취소 등을 제외한 행위는 총 131건 : 국가하천 43건, 지방하천 33건, 일시적인 하천수 55건)의 기본적인 통계분석을 통하여 낙동강유역의 하천수사용 특성을 제시하고, 파악된 하천수사용 특성 결과는 낙동강유역의 물관리정책에 소중한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how to improve tourism competitiveness of cruise harbours in Korea by analyzing tourism satisfaction level of international cruise visitors to Korea, who are increasing rapidly as Northeast Asian cruise tourism market is growing up. In this study we analyzed the factors of effects on tourism satisfaction level by Chinese visitors, Japanese visitors and English speaking visitors respectively based on the results of "International Cruise Visitor Survey 2012". The results of this study show that the individual satisfaction level of port of calling & tour schedule, immigration procedures, transportation, shopping influenced overall tourism satisfaction level by countries. It implied that those attributes should be reflected hereafter when we establish a marketing strategy for each of cruise cities. This study has a great significance in that those results suggest useful information when we make plans not only for activating cruise harbours but also for cruise tour marketing.

  • Lost fishing gears become a major cause of marine pollution, and many policy and technical efforts have been conducted for that. For efficient retrieving lost fishing gears in underwater, It is important to know the current position. Using GPS in the sub-sea environment is impossible and localization requires the use of special systems, and mobility due to water currents for underwater localization also has to be considered. In this paper, described with respect to the system for a self-generated location informations without using an external signal, such as a GPS and Sonar and storing them. Using the characteristics of the geomagnetic and INS principle, proposed informations and a way for estimating self position during movement. Embedded based system suggested and implemented in this study is tested for validating it's functionality.

  • In the present age, a vehicle works important part in our lives and economical domain that transport people, freights, and everything. And both of its number and value are increasing more and more. But user's convenience, control system could not be archived improvement than technological success. In this paper, we suggest some kinds of administrative agendas; simplifying executive processes, designing vehicle information system using by RFID which includes Ubiquitous skill and optical communication network. Especially, this paper suggests public vehicle control model which ran simplify every executive processes of vehicle's life in the newest method. There are many kinds of RFID applicative products about transportation. And a dual invest should be interrupted for economical purpose. So we also proposes some way for problems of these types.

Technology Tree and Domestic Research Status of Satellite Remote-Sensing of the Earth (위성자료를 응용한 지구관측 분야의 기술분류와 국내 연구동향 파악)

  • In this review article, we produce a technology tree in the earth observation by remote sensing, which is the Level I technology in the tree. To define Level II technologies, we create a two-dimensional matrix of technologies viewed from methodology and application viewpoints. Consequently the following fields are selected: reception-archiving, atmosphere, ocean, land, GIS, and common technology. For each Level II technology, we extract half a dozen Level III and about 20-30 Level IV technologies. For each Level IV technology, we review the status of domestic research and the approaches for acquiring deficient technology in Korea. Also we survey foreign institutions specializing in the deficient technologies and the time when the deficient technologies are needed. Furthermore we assign priority technologies from the viewpoints of public need and economic benefits. The information given in this article would help understand and collaborate among different disciplines, be a useful guide to a beginner to remote sensing, and assist policy making.

Development of Evaluation Method of Fisheries Sensitivity to Ocean Environments in Korea Waters (해양환경 기반 한국 연근해 어장 민감도 평가 기술 개발)

  • Although scientist have been reporting recently that changes in ocean environment influence the species composition, movements, and growth of fish in Korea waters. Previous studies on fish vulnerability owing to climate changes are insufficient to explain the effect of fluctuating ocean environments on fisheries ground. In this study, we suggested a method for the assessment of fisheries sensitivity to various factors in ocean environments in Korean waters. To evaluate the fisheries sensitivity, catch data (Chub mackerel, Hairtail, Common squid, small yellow croaker) from National federation of fisheries cooperatives in Korea (1991-2017) and oceanographic data from Korea Ocean Data Center (KODC; 1960-2017) were normalized using the z-score method. Thereafter, the fisheries sensitivity was calculated using the difference between the catch data and the oceanographic data. Finally, the fisheries sensitivity was evaluated based on evaluation grade ratings. Result revealed that in the south sea, variability in catch data was obviously higher than environmental fluctuation (evaluation grade 1), indicating that catch variability in response to environmental change is most sensitive in the south sea among Korean waters in 2017. These results would be helpful for fishery management and policy for sustainable yield in Korean waters.

Ozone-produced Oxidants Improve Water Quality Parameters and Microbial Colony Counts in the Semi-Recirculating Aquaculture System for Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus (반순환여과양식시스템에서 오존 유래 잔류산화물이 넙치(Paralichthys olivaceus) 사육수의 수질과 미생물에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the changes in water quality parameters and microbial colonies when ozone was applied to a semi-recirculating aquaculture system (semi-RAS) for the olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus (500 g in average weight). Concentrations of ozone-produced oxidants (OPO) in rearing tanks were maintained at 0, 0.014, 0.025 mg/L as Cl2 for 26 days. Except total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, phosphate phosphorus, chemical oxygen demand, and total suspended solids decreased significantly with increasing OPO concentration in daily and weekly monitoring (P<0.05). Colony forming unit (CFU) counts of heterotrophic marine bacteria decreased in an OPO concentration-dependent manner. Overall reduction rates of microbial colonies in the treatments were 80% higher than those of the control (P<0.05). During the experiment, the OPO concentration-driven ozonation was reliably practiced without any adverse effects on the animals cultured in semi-RAS. Considering the biohazard, operating cost, and stability of ozonation, an OPO concentration of 0.014 mg/L would be sufficient to control water quality parameters and microbial colonies in a semi-RAS.

A Study on the Relationship between Transshipment and Import-Export Volume of Petrochemical Liquid Cargoes (석유화학 액체화물의 환적과 수출입 물동량 관계연구)

  • Since Korea has excellent port infrastructure and competitive petrochemical complexes, there is plenty of potential for creating an oil hub in Northeast Asia. In particular, Ship-to-Ship (STS), which creates high added values, contributes greatly to the national economy. In this study, the liquid cargo volumes of chemical industrial products, refined petroleum products, and crude oil were analyzed at the national and regional (Busan, Ulsan, and Yeosu/Gwangyang) levels. Additionally, a Granger causality analysis was performed between imports, exports, and transshipments, in pairs. ADF, PP, and KPSS were analyzed for the unit root test. In addition, the VAR model and expanded VAR model suggested by Toda and Yamamoto were used for further analyses. Findings revealed a difference in Granger causality depending on the region or cargo type. These findings suggest that policies and incentive schemes for ports need to be differentiated according to the region and cargo types. In addition, the different patterns in the relationship between transshipments and import-export petrochemical cargoes should be considered.
