A View Interpolation Method for Multi-view Video of Large Disparity (변위 범위가 큰 다시점 비디오에 적합한 영상보간법)

  • 차세대 방송서비스 개발의 일환으로 관심을 모으고 있는 다시점 비디오 부호화(multi-view video coding, MVC) 방식은 인접한 여러 대의 카메라로 동시에 획득한 영상을 효과적으로 압축하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이때, 중간시전 영상을 생성하여 부호화하는 과정의 참조영상으로 이용할 수 있으며, 이를 위해서는 다시점 비디오 특성에 맞는 영상보간 방법이 필요하다. 기존에 제안되었던 영상보간법은 변위의 검색범위를 초기에 설정하여 블록정합을 이용하여 화소 단위로 변위를 측정하기 때문에 카메라 사이의 거리가 크거나 객체의 움직임이 커서 변위의 변동이 심한 영상에서는 안정적인 화질의 영상을 얻기 어렵다. 또한, 고정된 크기의 블록을 이용하여 전체 변위를 측정하므로 객체의 변위차가 큰 영역에서 변위 오류가 많이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제를 해결하여 보다 개선된 화질의 중간시점 영상을 얻기 위한 새로운 영상보간법을 제안한다. 영역분할을 이용한 초기의 변위측정 과정에서, 처음부터 최대 변위의 범위를 설정하는 대신에 블록 단위로 대략적인 변위륵 측정한 후에, 가변 블록을 이용하여 보다 세밀한 변위를 측정한다. 이 방법은 변위차가 큰 객체의 경계 부분에서 보다 정확하게 변위를 측정 할 수 있으므로, 화소 단위로 변위를 측정할 때 이전에 추한 변위 정보를 바탕으로 각 화소별로 검색 범위를 설정한다. 적응적으로 설정된 검색 범위를 이용하여 화소 단위의 변위를 측정하면 보다 개선된 변위를 얻을 수 있다. 추가적으로, 변위측정 과정에서 발생하는 변위의 오류를 최대한 줄이기 위해 각 단계별로 미디언 필터를 이용하여 변위 오류를 수정하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 실험한 결과 기존의 영상보간 방법보다 화질이 약 $1{\sim}4dB$ 정도 개선되었다.필, 투명도 등을 위성원격탐사 자료와 GIS를 이용하여 공간분석을 실시하고, 공간분포도를 작성함으로써 대상해역의 해양환경을 파악하였다. 본 연구결과, 분석된 위성자료가 현장조사에 의한 검증이 이루어지지 않을 경우, 영상자료분석을 통한 표층수온 추출은 대기 중의 수증기와 에어로졸에 의한 계산치의 오차가 반영되기 때문에 실측치 보다 낮게 평가 될 수 있으므로, 반드시 이에 대한 검증이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 현지관측에 비해 막대한 비용과 시간을 절약할 수 있는 위성영상해석방법을 이용한 방법은 해양수질파악이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, GIS를 이용하여 다양하고 복잡한 자료를 데이터베이스화함으로써 가시화하고, 이를 기초로 공간분석을 실시함으로써 환경요소별 공간분포에 대한 파악을 통해 수치모형실험을 이용한 각종 환경영향의 평가 및 예측을 위한 기초자료로 이용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.염총량관리 기본계획 시 구축된 모형 매개변수를 바탕으로 분석을 수행하였다. 일차오차분석을 이용하여 수리매개변수와 수질매개변수의 수질항목별 상대적 기여도를 파악해 본 결과, 수리매개변수는 DO, BOD, 유기질소, 유기인 모든 항목에 일정 정도의 상대적 기여도를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이로부터 수질 모형의 적용 시 수리 매개변수 또한 수질 매개변수의 추정 시와 같이 보다 세심한 주의를 기울여 추정할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은

Study on Jinminso as an Indoor Relief Institution (구한말 민간 빈민구제시설 진민소[賑民所]에 관한 연구)

  • This is a study of Jinminso. The purpose of the study is to search and analyze the documents about Jinminso. The data is composed with the first hand historical documents both government documents and civil newspapers which are searched by internet. Based on the documents found, it is safe to say that Jinminso has existed and functioned as an indoor almshouse for the poor. It was established in June 25, 1898 by civil people with donated money in order to reduce the burden of Emperor and to share the love and care for their people with a brotherhood mind. The Jinminso resident were the poor, the sick, the orphans, widows, elderly living alone, and the disabled. They received food, clothes, and shelter. However, Emperor Gojong ordered to shut down Jinminso, and it was closed in Sept. 25, in 1898. The main reason was inappropriate collection of money for the agency operation from the merchants. When Jinminso was closed, all the inmates became homeless. The founders asked to reopen it, and it was accepted but this time was opened as a government agency in 1899. Jinminso imposes great meanings. One, Jinminso was not just an office but a direct service agency housing hundreds of poor people; two, poverty was understood as social problem not just a local district problem; three, rules and regulations were prepared to set up a system of modern age social welfare. The findings provide a clue how the government and society perceived poverty and the poor during the time of late 1800s to early 1900s. The existence of Jinminso will pose many new question.

  • 본 연구에서는 건설CALS/EC 기반의 정보화 추진을 위한 정보시스템을 개발할 때 적용되는 기존의 소프트웨어 개발방법론의 문제점을 분석하고, 표준화되지 않은 개발방법론의 적용으로 시스템 개발에 비효율적인 비용을 투자하는 문제점과 특성상 입찰, 구매, 계약 등 분야별로 상이한 기능의 업무에 따라 구축되는 건설산업 정보화에 있어서 상호간에 데이터 및 프로세스를 원활히 통합하지 못하므로 인하여 발생되는 개발의 중복성, 정보 활용의 비효율성 등의 문제점을 개선하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 최근 새로이 부각되고 있는 방법론인 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론(CBD: Component-Based Development)을 사용하여 건선CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스를 위한 시스템의 업무프로세스를 모델링하여 사용자가 쉽게 재사용가능하고 타업무분야에 확대 가능한 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 기존의 소프트웨어 개발 방법론의 적용상 문제점 분석을 통하여 컴포넌트 기반 개발방법론의 필요성을 증명하고 비즈니스 컴포넌트 프레임워크를 사용하여 건설 CALS/EC 표준지침 웹서비스의 업무프로세스에 적용할 기술적인 방법론을 고찰하고 업무에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 업무프로세스 컴포넌트를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 컴포넌트 모델은 향후 타업무분야의 시스템을 개발할 때 사용자요구분석 단계부터 별도의 재 작업이 없이 사용될 수 있으며 시스템을 구현할 때 개발 모듈의 중복방지와 용이한 비즈니스로직의 변경 등이 가능하며, 추가의 업무 프로세스나 연관된 다른 분야의 업무프로세스의 반영 및 추가 시 컴포넌트의 활동모델을 쉽게 수정하여 정의함으로써 쉽게 시스템의 기능을 확장할 수 있다.LE 산정에 관한 지속적인 실험적 연구가 이루어져야 하겠다. 증가할 것이다. 또한 부분육을 이용한 완전제품, 적색육제품, 유기농이나 별미식 제품과 같은 형태의 다양한 포장육 제품이 도입 될 것으로 생각되어진다.e in vitro SPF test method will be able to be used as an alternative method for in vivo SPF in case of lotion and cream. replica.   • Crashworthy fuel cells have been widely implemented to rotorcraft and rendered a great contribution for improving the survivability of crews and passengers. Since the embryonic stage of military rotorcraft history began, the US army has developed and practised a detailed military specification documenting the unique crashworthiness requirements for rotorcraft fuel cells to prevent most fatality due to post-crash fire. Foreign manufacturers have followed their long term experience to develop their fuel cells, and have reflected the results of crash impact tests on the trial-and-error based design and manufacturing procedures. Since the crash impact test itself takes a long-term preparation efforts together with costly fuel cell specimens, a series of numerical simulations of the crash impact test with digital mock-ups is necessary even at the early design stage to minimize the possibility of trial-and-error with full-scale fuel cells. In the present study a number of numerical simulations on fuel cell crash impact tests are performed with a crash simulation software, Autodyn. The resulting equivalent stresses are further analysed to evaluate a number of appropriate design parameters and the artificial neural network and simulated annealing method are simultaneously implemented to optimize the crashworthy performance of fuel cells.

  • This paper suggests the optimal generation dispatch algorithm for ensuring voltage stability margin considering high wind energy injection. Generally, with wind generation being installed into the power system, we would have to consider several factors such as the voltage stability margin because wind turbine generators are mostly induction machines. If the proportion of wind generation increases in the power system increases this would affect the overall stability of the system including the voltage stability. This paper considers a specific system that is composed of two areas: area 1 and area 2. It is assumed that generation cost in area 1 is relatively higher than that in area 2. From an economic point of view generation in area 1 should be decreased, however, in the stability point of view the generation in area 2 should be decreased. Since the power system is a nonlinear system, it is very difficult to find the optimal solution and the genetic algorithm is adopted to solve the objective function that is composed of a cost function and a function concerned with voltage stability constraints. For the simulations, the New England system was selected. The algorithm is implemented and Python 2.5.

Numerical Analysis for Thermal-deformation Improvement in TSOP(Thin Small Outline Package) by Anti-deflection Adhesives (TSOP(Thin Small Outline Package) 열변형 개선을 위한 전산모사 분석)

  • TSOP(Thin Small Outline Package) is the IC package using lead frame, which is the type of low cost package for white electronics, auto mobile, desktop PC, and so on. Its performance is not excellent compared to BGA or flip-chip CSP, but it has been used mostly because of low price of TSOP package. However, it has been issued in TSOP package that thermal deflection of lead frame occurs frequently during molding process and Au wire between semiconductor die and pad is debonded. It has been required to solve this problem through substituting materials with low CTE and improving structure of lead frame. We focused on developing the lead frame structure having thermal stability, which was carried out by numerical analysis in this study. Thermal deflection of lead frame in TSOP package was simulated with positions of anti-deflection adhesives, which was ranging 198 um~366 um from semiconductor die. It was definitely understood that thermal deflection of TSOP package with anti-deflection adhesives was improved as 30.738 um in the case of inside(198 um), which was compared to that of the conventional TSOP package. This result is caused by that the anti-deflection adhesives is contributed to restrict thermal expansion of lead frame. Therefore, it is expected that the anti-deflection adhesives can be applied to lead frame packages and enhance their thermal deflection without any change of substitutive materials with low CTE.

Evaluation of Uplift Forces Acting on Fastening Systems at the Bridge Deck End Considering Nonlinear Behaviors of the Fastening Systems (체결장치 비선형 거동을 고려한 교량 단부에서의 체결장치 압상력 평가)

  • In this study, vertical loading tests were conducted to investigate the nonlinear behaviors of the fastening systems that have generally been used in the concrete track of domestic railway lines. Nonlinear load-displacement curve models were derived based on the test results. The uplift forces generated in the fastening systems were evaluated by applying the derived nonlinear models as well as the existing linear models. The influence of the factors on the maximum uplift force of the fastening system was analyzed through a parameter study on the distance between neighboring sleepers, the horizontal distance between the center of the bearing and the nearest fastening system from the deck end, and the height of the bridge girder. From the evaluation results it is known that, for economical track and bridge design, due to deck end deformation, it is necessary to consider the nonlinear behavior of the fastening system in the calculation of the uplift force of the fastening systems.

Behavior and pillar stability of enlarged existing parallel tunnels (기존 병설터널의 확폭에 따른 터널 거동 및 필라 안정성 분석)

  • Traffic congestion in existing tunnels has increased due to increased traffic volume and enlarged vehicles. Enlarging existing tunnels has advantages over constructing new tunnels by reducing land purchasing costs as well as minimizing natural environment destruction. In fact, many overseas projects for enlarging existing tunnels have been reported. Thus, it appears that the demand on enlarging existing tunnels continues to rise in Korea in near future. Nonetheless, the studies related to the enlarged tunnels have been relatively rare since there have been few tunnel enlargement projects in Korea. In the present study, the tunnel behavior and the stability of rock pillar when enlarging existing parallel tunnels were investigated by performing FE analysis and using existing theory and empirical relationships. Four different enlarging cases, depending on the enlargement types and directions, were examined in the study. According to the results, for the tunnels with the same pillar width after enlarged, the uni-laterally enlarged tunnel indicated 5 to 20% higher crown settlement compared to the bi-laterally enlarged tunnel, and for the tunnel with the narrowest pillar, the highest shotcrete stress was observed. Also, the strength/stress ratio for rock pillar was more than 1.0 for all four enlargement cases, and the Matsuda's method was found to give higher strength/stress ratio by about 50% compared to the Peck's method.

Condition-Based Model for Preventive Maintenance of Armor Units of Rubble-Mound Breakwaters using Stochastic Process (추계학적 확률과정을 이용한 경사제 피복재의 예방적 유지관리를 위한 조건기반모형)

  • A stochastic process has been used to develop a condition-based model for preventive maintenance of armor units of rubble-mound breakwaters that can make a decision the optimal interval at which some repair actions should be performed under the perfect maintenance. The proposed cost model in this paper based on renewal reward process can take account of the interest rate, also consider the unplanned maintenance cost which has been treated like a constant in the previous studies to be a time-dependent random variable. A function for the unplanned maintenance cost has been mathematically proposed so that the cumulative damage, serviceability limit and importance of structure can be taken into account, by which a age-based maintenance can be extended to a condition-based maintenance straightforwardly. The coefficients involved in the function can also be properly estimated using a method expressed in this paper. Two stochastic processes, Wiener process and gamma process have been applied to armor stones of rubble-mound breakwaters. By evaluating the expected total cost rate as a function of time for various serviceability limits, interest rates and importances of structure, the optimal period of preventive maintenance can easily determined through the minimization of the expected total cost rate. For a fixed serviceability limit, it shows that the optimal period has been delayed while the interest rate increases, so that the expected total cost rate has become lower. In addition, the gamma process tends to estimate the optimal period more conservatively than the Wiener process. Finally, it is found that the more crucial the level of importance of structure becomes, the more often preventive maintenances should be carried out.

The Effect of Decentralized Rainwater Tank System on the Reduction of Peak Runoff - A Case Study at M Village - (빗물저류조의 분산배치에 따른 첨두유출 저감효과 분석 - M 마을 사례 -)

  • Recently climate change and increase of surface runoff caused the urban flooding. Traditional way of dealing with urban flooding has been to increase the sewer capacity or construction of pumping stations, however, it is practically almost impossible because of time, money and traffic problems. Multipurpose DRMS (Decentralized Rainwater Management System) is a new paradigm proposed and recommended by NEMA (National Emergency Management Agency) for both flood control and water conservation. Suwon City has already enacted the ordinance on sound water cycle management by DRMS. In this study, a flood prone area in Suwon is selected and analysis of DRMS has been made using XP-SWMM for different scenarios of RT installation with same total rainwater tank volume and location. Installing one rainwater tank of 3,000$m^3$ can reduce the peak flow rate by 15.5%. Installing six rainwater tanks of 500$m^3$ volume in the area can reduce the peak flow rate by 28%. Three tanks which is concentrated in the middle region can reduce peak rate more than evenly distributed tanks. The method and results found from this study can be used for the design and performance prediction of DRMS at a flood prone area by supplementing the existing sewer system without increase of the sewer capacity.
