The purpose of this study is to investigate residents'opinions about Habitat Housing. It is also aimed to influence the future directions of Habitat Housing, by understanding the contents of residents'satisfaction and need of houses and surroundings. Direct interview and questionary methods were used for the survey of residents in housing complexes - 24 households in Kwang-yang and 47 households in Asan. SPSS 10.0 program was used for a statistical analysis. Residents are generally satisfied with the surroundings of housing sites, and with the interior spaces of houses. However, dissatisfactions were surveyed of community facilities, site planning, outdoor space, maintenance system, and veranda design of housing units. This result might be helpful to provide planning and design guidelines for the future Habitat Housing.

The purpose of this study is to investigate Residents' Neighborship in the Habitat Housing. It is also aimed to promote the community and community sense. Questionary methods and Direct interview were used for the survey of residents in the Habitat Housing. SPSS 10.0 program use for a statistical analysis. Most of the low-income bracket residential district has few public spaces. Habitat residential areas also have difficulties in taking various spaces because of the small scale and few people. According to the answer to the questions about Habitat residential problems, many people need public spaces. Consequently, multipurpose spaces must be made for the Habitat residents' neighborship and their good lives.

연구목적: 본 연구는 우기의 상습 침수로 인해 지속적으로 재난 스트레스를 경험한 방글라데시 남부 거주민들을 대상으로 (사)한국 해비타트의 재난위기경감 개입이 수혜자들의 정신건강 및 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 개입대상지역에 거주하는 138명의 성인 남녀를 대상으로 2020년 8월 사전조사 및 2021년 11월 사후조사를 수행하였다. 중재적 개입은 개별 점진주택 제공, 공용인프라시설 개보수, 재난대응훈련을 통한 역량개발로 구성되었다. 자료분석방법으로는 사전-사후의 변화에 대한 대응표본 t-test와 처치집단 간의 차이를 밝히기 위한 일원분산분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과:분석결과, 개입 후 거주민의 우울, 불안, 신체화 및 삶의 질 모두에서 유의한 향상이 나타났으며, 개입 처치에 따른 정신건강 수준에서도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 구체적으로 재난대응훈련과 대비하여 개별 점진주택 제공과 공용인프라시설 개보수에서 상대적으로 높은 효과가 확인되었다. 결론:이러한 결과는 (사)한국 해비타트의 재난위기경감 개입이 재난 피해자의 정신건강 회복에 미치는 긍정적 역할을 입증하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 재난취약 개도국 대상의 위험 지역에서 적용할 수 있는 실제적 개입방식을 제안하였다.

이번호에 소개하는 해외건축동향은 지난 6월호에 이어 여전히 인도, 북쪽 지방의 뉴 델리에 위치해 있는 Indian Habitat Centre이다. Habitat을 번역하면 "서식지" 라는 뜻을 가진 이 곳은 도시개발과 환경관련 업무를 보는 사무실의 개념을 떠나서 인간의 이상적 서식지라는 좀 더 큰 근본적 개념을 가지고 계획된 곳이다.

해저공간을 인류의 삶의 터전으로 바꾸기 위해서는 거주자의 안전이 반드시 확보되어야 한다. 하지만 해저거주공간에서 발생할 수 있는 재난과 재난 발생 시 이루어지는 피난의 특성에 대해서는 연구가 적다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 해저거주공간의 재난 및 피난 특성에 관해 연구를 진행한다. 현재 운용 중인 해저거주공간의 사례가 드물어 우선 수중공간에서 장기간 임무를 수행하는 잠수함의 사고 사례와 수중연구실로 운영되고 있는 수중해비타트의 사고 사례를 분석하여 해저거주공간의 재난 및 피난 특성을 도출한다.

The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal(Nepal) is one of the poorest country in the world. People in Nepal are having lots of housing problems including the lack of housing provision. Even Habitat for Humanity Nepal (HfH_Nepal) has developed various programs to diffuse ecological housing, still there are many problems due to financial and technological shortage. The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of suggestion of performance improvement for HfH_Nepal eco house with introduction of the housing situation and efforts to provide sustainable housing by HfH_Nepal in Terai plain. Ideas on CGI sheet roof with poor insulation, double panel bamboo wall and adobe brick wall which can overcome structural and waterproof flaws of the thin single panel bamboo wall. The experiment result shows that both ideas adapted to adobe brick house reduces daily temperature range 50.8% and humidity adjust effect. For the effective provision of adobe brick house, compressive strength was tested for the bricks made with locally available fiber materials. Brick with jute displayed 41.1% betterment than plain brick with closest packing condition while coconut and straw showed 25.1% and 7.9% improvement respectively. Technical and economic problems brought up during the building and experiment process were listed and countermeasures established. This kinds of building prototype houses and experiments can improve the living conditions of people in developing countries with little supplement of resources. Furthermore, consideration of locally available and affordable material can help the social and ecological sustainability in the world.

The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data for the "Habitat Houses". The sample consisted of 24 residents who live in Kwang-yang and 47 residents in Asan. Through the personal interview and questionnaire survey, investigated the opinion of "Habitat"of Habitat Houses′residents. The data were analyzed by using spss program. The major findings were summarized as follows : The Habitat residents are low-income families, so this study is suggest. First, Habitat Houses are to locate near the city, second, to reduce the work time of residents. Third, Habitat must development the educationing program for residents. Fourth, Habitat must development management program and must repair the claim.
