Driving Simulation after Road Design by 3D-GIS in Digital Elevation Model from Digital Aerial Photogrammetry (수치항공사진에서 생성된 수치표고모형에서 3차원 GIS를 이용한 도로설계와 모의주행)

  • This Study is about driving simulation after road design by 3D-GIS in digital elevation model from digital aerial photogrammetry. For designing roads efficiently it's very important to consider geographical features before design when analyze the view. Nevertheless, existing studies is mainly restricted in the mountainous, despite of using digital map or aerial photogrammetry and the study which used aerial photo in the area where the road designing is made really is not get executed. Therefore, this study will do 3D-road design and driving simulation by appling really road design data to topography, on the basis of digital elevation generated from aerial photogrammetry.

Extraction of Building Boundary on Aerial Image Using Segmentation and Overlaying Algorithm (분할과 중첩 기법을 이용한 항공 사진 상의 빌딩 경계 추출)

  • Buildings become complex and diverse with time. It is difficult to extract individual buildings using only an optical image, because they have similar spectral characteristics to objects such as vegetation and roads. In this study, we propose a method to extract building area and boundary through integrating airborne Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR) data and aerial images. Firstly, a binary edge map was generated using Edison edge detector after applying Adaptive dynamic range linear stretching radiometric enhancement algorithm to the aerial image. Secondly, building objects on airborne LiDAR data were extracted from normalized Digital Surface Model and aerial image. Then, a temporary building areas were extracted by overlaying the binary edge map and building objects extracted from LiDAR data. Finally, some building boundaries were additionally refined considering positional accuracy between LiDAR data and aerial image. The proposed method was applied to two experimental sites for validation. Through error matrix, F-measure, Jaccard coefficient, Yule coefficient, and Overall accuracy were calculated, and the values had a higher accuracy than 0.85.

The Development of Aerial Navigation Map and Aerial Photographic Guidance System (항공항법지도와 항공사진 촬영안내 시스템의 개발)

  • The aerial photographic mission is a difficult work because aircraft must be flown along the specified flight lines, not marked on the ground. This study has been carried out for the development of aerial photographic guidance system, which enables us to make aerial photographic task easier. Such a flight guidance system is able to display a variety of map informations in a quick and efficient way in order to guide pilot. For this purpose, we first developed the nationwide aerial navigation map database that provides the topographic map information used for topographic interpretation and aeronautical chart information used for the flight security. Next, we developed the aerial photographic guidance system which uses the aerial navigation map as base map. It is concluded that the developed system can display the various map informations quickly and do any other photographing guidance tasks well in fast moving airplane.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 지형도나 준공도면 자료에서 상세정보가 누락되거나 갱신이 이루어지지 않아 시설물관리체계에 필요한 수치지도의 체계적인 구축이 요구되는 지역에 적용할 수 있도록 지상사진, 항공사진 등 영상자료에 다양한 사진해석 기법을 적용하여 수치지도를 생성하고 공간 및 속성정보를 추출하였다. 본 연구에서는 다중사진 촬영에 의하여 대상물의 3차원 모델과 3차원 사진영상모델을 생성하였다. 또한, 소축척 항공사진을 이용하여 대상지역의 벡터라이징을 실행한 결과, 각 건물과 도로시설물의 위치와 형태 등 공간정보의 추출이 가능하였다.

  • This study estimates and evaluates the parameters to relate spectral intensities of aerial and terrestrial images through spectral analysis of each band. For the experiment, an aerial image covering the headquater of the Kyungpook National University was used and terrestrial images were taken by the Sony DSC-F828 DSLR camera. For finding the spectral correspondence, gray intensity, RGB variance, mean, standard deviation were computed, from which parameters of a linear model between patches of both images were computed and evaluated using check patches.

Comparison and Analysis of Features between Aerial Photo Image and Satellite Image (항공사진 영상과 위성 영상간의 지형지물 비교.분석)

  • Practical use is increasing on the aerial ortho image recently, and much researches for geographic information system build that use high resolution satellite image cause this are progressing. Also many researches that use KOMPSAT-1 satellite image of resolution 6.6m are performing in these days, estimation for between aerial photo and satellite image is needed. In this treatise scanned image of aerial photo, using aerial photo resampling image of resolution equal with KOMPSAT-1 image using aerial photo, and KOMPSAT-1 satellite image use for experimental image making each orthoimage, classified feature for estimate. We evaluated to what level that an separation item could be able to estimate in each orthoimage. As result of estimation analysis, In the classified feature in aerial photo orthoimage with aerial photo resampling image orthoimage is about 61%, KOMPSAT-1 satellite image orthoimage is almost 41% could estimated. Through this investigation estimate, KOMPSAT-1 satellite sue to map updating, geographic information og non-approach area and environment inspect.

Generation of High Quality Geospatial Information Using Computer Vision Analysis of Line Type Digital Aerial Photogrammetry Camera Imagery (Line Type 디지털 항공사진측량 카메라 영상의 컴퓨터비전 해석을 통한 고품질 공간정보 생성)

  • The National Geographic Information Institute of Korea takes digital aerial photograph images every two years to make and modify/renew the digital map. The cameras for aerial photogrammetry to capture these digital aerial photographs are divided into frame types and line types. Computer vision analysis of aerial photograph images was only possible for frame type. Thus, in this study, Line type aerial photograph images was intended to generate geospatial information through computer vision analysis, and forest geospatial information was created as a method for the utilization of aerial picture images. As a result, geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis of line type aerial photograph images showed that RMSE of horizontal and vertical position errors was less than quadruple that of GSD. Forest geospatial information was generated using geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis. It was confirmed that extraction of the crown of tree and calculation of tree height are possible. Through this study, it is expected that utilization of aerial photograph images will be improved.

  • GPS photogrammetry or the GPS/INS photogrammetry, which are based on the direct measurement of the projection centers and attitude at the moment of camera exposure time through loading the GPS receiver or INS in aircraft. Both photogrammetric methods can offer us to acquire the exterior orientation parameters with only minimum ground control points, even the ground control process could be completely skipped. Consequently, we can drastically reduce the time and cost for the mapping process. In this thesis, test flight was conducted in Suwon area to evaluate the performance of accuracy and efficiency through the analysis of results among the three photogrammetric methods, that is, traditional photogrammetry, GPS photogrammetry and GPS/INS photogrammetry. Test results shows that a large variety of advantages of GPS photogrammetry and GPS/INS photogrammetry against traditional photogrammetry is to be verified. Especially, the number of ground control points for the exterior orientation could be saved more than 70~80%, respectively.

  • 수치정사사진지도를 제작하기 위한 기반 자료로 스캐닝한 수치항공사진영상과 항공사진의 왜곡 보정을 위한 표정, DEM의 추출과 편집 및 편위 수정에 이르기까지 다양한 처리절차가 필요하다. 또한 영상과 벡티 자료의 중첩을 통해 생선한 영상지도의 편집과 지도제작 작업에는 다양한 미적 요소가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 수치항공사진 영상을 이용하여, 영상에 내포하는 기하학적 변위를 3차원 모델링 결과와 수치표고모델을 이용하여 소거하고, 수치정사사진을 제작한 후에, 1/5,000 수치지도에서 필요한 레이어와 중첩시킨 수치정사사진지도를 제작하여 그 정확도를 분석하였으며, 각 처리 단계별 문제점의 분석과 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • Most terrain information have been generally acquired by map. Because the map presents the real terrain, not by real figure but by contours, geometric figures, symbols, texts, and colors, it is not easy to interpret the real terrain by map. For this reason, aerial photos or terrestrial photos also have been used sometimes in the terrain analysis. But photos have geometrical displacement caused by the position of camera at the exposition time and the relief of the object. So, for accurate posional analysis, orthophoto maps produced by optical rectifier have been used. But, it is hard to produce orthophoto map by optical rectifier and the process is so slow. This study aims to present an accurate and rapid method to produce orthophoto map by generating digital elevation model from stereo aerial photos on common computer using the digital photogrammetric technique and producing orthophoto map digitally using the digital elevation model.
