Evaluation of Techniques Linked GIS for Route Selecting of the Road (도로의 노선선정을 위한 GIS 연계 기법의 평가)

  • Route selecting of the road is a basic and important process. But the route selecting process must consider the technical, traffic and environment factor simultaneously. The optimum route that are able to reduce the construction cost, maximize utility value and investigate several alternative route must be selected. This study presents a reasonable plan for route selecting through subjective evaluation and classify the methods linked GIS from basic design of road construction.

  • The Location Based Services comprised GIS and Telecommunication allow users to receive various services based on their geographic location. It is need to legislation to encourage the provision and use of location information by providing privacy protection to users. But the contents of the legislation proposed by Korean government have problems conflicted between protection of a person's location information and invigoration of location-based services. The purpose of this study is to search complementary measures for privacy protection of location information from a viewpoint of effective management strategy for geographic information.

  • 전력계통 해석의 정확도 향상을 위해서는 해석용 데이터의 정확한 입력이 필수적이나, 우리가 사용하고 있는 해석용 프로그램의 알고리즘상 한계, 실제 전력계통에 설치중인 비표준 전력설비의 데이터 적용상 문제점 둥으로 현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 계통해석용 데이터는 정확도면에서 다소 보완이 필요하다. 이와 관련하여 본 고에서는 전력계통 해석 정확도 향상을 위한 각 상별로 다른 변압기 임피던스의 합리적인 적용방법, 우리계통에 다수 설치되어 있는 기준 외 변압기 데이터 처리방법, 발전기 단자전압과 Step-up 변압기 정격전압 상이로 인한 데이터 적용상 문제의 해결대안을 모색하였고, 현재 우리가 적용하고 있는 송전선로의 선로정수 데이터를 대푯값과 비교분석을 통하여 정확성 의심개소를 제시하였으며, 기존 방식의 해석결과와 금번 개선안 적용시의 해석결과를 실계통 운전실적을 중심으로 비교하여 계통해석 정확도 차이를 나타내 보였다.

  • 공공시설 자산관리는 새로운 시설물 유지보수 개념으로 유지관리체계를 넘어 자산의 가치를 높이는 관리체계이다. 이 연구의 목적은 도로 및 교량 같은 공공시설에 자산관리체계를 지원하는 정보시스템을 구축하는데 필수적인 자산의 가치와 가치비용을 평가하는 방법을 개발하는 것이다. 따라서 자산가치를 자산평가 척도인 LoS(Level of Service)를 바탕으로 금전적인 값어치로 공학적 관점에서 계산하는 이론적 방법을 연구하였다. 가치개념을 정립하기 위해 성능은 LoS를 적용하였고, 비용은 유지관리를 위한 직접 투입비용을 적용하였다. 연구목적상 기존 연구결과인 자산비용과 가치비용의 개념을 적용하였으며 합리적인 시설물의 가치비용을 추정하기 위해 추가적으로 자산의 규모, 시설물의 현재 상태, 투입예산의 효과, 시설물의 중요도를 고려하도록 제안하였다. 제안한 자산비용을 바탕으로 하는 가치비용이 최대가 되는 유지관리대안을 선정한다면 최적의 시나리오가 될 것이다.

An Integrated Design System Using Knowledge-Based Approach for the Rational Design of Injection-Molded Part and Mold (합리적 사출제품금형설계를 위한 지식형 통합설계시스템)

  • The design and manufacture of injection molded polymeric parts with desired properties is a costly process dominated by empiricism, including the repeated modification of actual tooling. This paper presents an knowledge-based synthesis system which can predict the mechanical performance of a molded product and diagnose the design before the actual mold is machined. The knowledge-based system synergistically combines a rule-based system with CAE programs. Hueristic know]edge of injection molding. flow simulation, and mechanical performance prediction is formalized as rules of an expert consultation system. The expert system interprets the analytical results of the process simulation, predicts the performance, evaluates the design and generates recommendation for optimal design alternatives.

  • In this study we had chosen the examples of the development projects, so that examined about the process of the landscape impact assessment and the detail evaluation items. Especially the part of the leisure facilities and the landscape aspects among the evaluation items were reviewed whether followed the process of environment impact assessment or not, whether the impact estimate, and depreciation scheme according to the present condition and enforcement of the actual development projects perform reasonably or not. From the study, derived the improvement on the landscape impact evaluation using with 3D Simulation method is expected to contribute to the valid landscape impact assessment and the reasonable alternative proposal.

  • Most old apartment housing have been replaced with new ones by means of the reconstruction. But with the change of the construction environment, remodeling is introduced as a new alternative for the replacement. Remodeling is expected to reduce national loss owing to the early reconstruction of old apartments resulted from economical and functional deterioration. But there still remains a lot of problems to be first solved for Remodeling. One of those is to figure out how to perform an economic feasibility analysis effectively. The researches of remodeling done under the rally stage are not sufficient in economic feasibility for apartment housing. Therefore, this paper suggests an effective method for the economic evaluation of remodeling projects focusing on a rental high-rise apartment.

K-th Path Search Algorithms with the Link Label Correcting (링크표지갱신 다수경로탐색 알고리즘)

  • Given a path represented by a sequence of link numbers in a graph, the vine is differentiated from the loop in a sense that any link number can be visited in the path no more than once, while more than once in the loop. The vine provides a proper idea on complicated travel patterns such as U-turn and P-turn witnessed near intersections in urban transportation networks. Application of the link label method(LLM) to the shortest Path algorithms(SPA) enables to take into account these vine travel features. This study aims at expanding the LLM to a K-th path search algorithm (KPSA), which adopts the node-based-label correcting method to find a group of K number of paths. The paths including the vine type of travels are conceptualized as drivers reasonable route choice behaviors(RRCB) based on non-repetition of the same link in the paths, and the link-label-based MPSA is proposed on the basis of the RRCB. The small-scaled network test shows that the algorithm sequence works correctly producing multiple paths satisfying the RRCB. The large-scaled network study detects the solution degeneration (SD) problem in case the number of paths (K) is not sufficient enough, and the (K-1) dimension algorithm is developed to prevent the SD from the 1st path of each link, so that it may be applied as reasonable alternative route information tool, an important requirement of which is if it can generate small number of distinct alternative paths.

  • For a successful construction project, systematic and objective decision-making is a prerequisite from the planning and designing stages. However, previous LCC analysis methods have focused only on simple cost savings and the accompanying economic efficacy while missing the environmental aspects of a structure. Although recently, a new approach of integrated $CO_2$ analysis has been introduced, which is more advanced than the existing simple LCC methods, it is difficult to collect all of the data necessary for each evaluation item since the product-specific cost is not presented under the LCC. In this research, cost evaluation items were selected by relatively high weights and items with heavy influence over a decision-making process in order to suggest an LCC-LCA integrated analysis model that is useful in comprehensively assessing the economic cost and environmental cost throughout the whole life cycle of a structure. The developed LCC-LCA integrated analysis model was applied to actual practices and compared with previous methods to test the model's effectiveness.

Analysis of Accident Modification Factors (AMF) for Roadway-Rail Grade Crossing Accidents with Baysian Method (베이지안분석을 이용한 철도건널목 Accident Modification Factors (AMF)에 관한 연구)

  • This study develops Accident Modification Factors (AMF) of countermeasures with Baysian method which are newly proposed for reducing Roadway-Rail grade crossing accidents. This study proposes a new "Bayesian Analytical Framework" for countermeasure assessment which combines "Subjective" Prior Information with "Logical" based Information. The newly proposed "Bayesian Analytical Framework" consists of the following three steps: The 1st step - Countermeasure Selection, Choice of Participants, Selection of Crashes; The 2nd step-Development of Crash History Manual and Countermeasure Evaluation Manual; The 3rd step-Development of AMFs through sound statistical tests. This study used the Komogorov-Smirnov(K-S) Test to determine whether two unknown distribution functions associated with the two populations are identical. The results of the study are that individual responses did not meet the K-S test of identical distributions. while individual vs. group distributions are identical. This indicates that combining the input of several people reduces the impact of individual subjectivity and assumptions and is important for developing a repeatable distribution to develop sound AMFs of countermeasures for reducing Roadway-Rail grade crossing accidents. The procedures of the AMF development conducted in this study can be used to estimate the safety effects of countermeasures for road segments and intersections, in addition to Roadway-Rail grade crossings.
