A study on the identifying Livestock impact non-point sources through the comparison during Dry and Rainy season (강우시와 비강우시 비교를 통한 축산비점오염원 영향파악에 관한연구)

  • 우리나라의 하천 및 호소에 유입되는 오염물질 중 약 30% 이상이 농업(경종 축산)활동 등에 의한 비점오염원이며 특히, 축산비점오염원에 대한 관리는 관련 분야의 특징에 대한 정확한 이해를 바탕으로 국내 실정에 적합하고 현실적인 정책과 제도를 개발하여 적용하는 것이 필요하다. 실질적인 정책과 제도의 개선안 수립 적용을 위해서는 축산비점오염물질 배출에 대한 신뢰성 있는 정량화가 선행되어야 하나, 모니터링 자료가 충분하지 못하여 실측자료에 근거한 부하량 평가가 어렵고, 토지이용, 강우강도, 경사도 등에 따른 비점오염물질과 수계 유입되는 유달부하량 정량화에 대한 연구사례는 적은편이다. 따라서 국내 실정에 적합하고, 현실적으로 적용 가능한 정책 및 제도 개선안 마련을 위해서는 합리적인 오염 배출량 자료와 저감방법에 근거하여 현실적인 대안을 도출하는 연구가 필요하다. 또한 이러한 실정을 파악하기 위해서는 국내 축산 밀집지역을 대상으로 하여 강우시와 비강우시 오염물질들의 유출 특성 및 배출농도에 대한 기초자료가 필요하며 이를 토대로한 특성파악이 가장 우선시 되어야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 축산밀집지역인 정읍시 덕천면의 덕천천 유역일대를 대상으로 하여 강우시는 년 5회 비강우시는 년10회 모니터링을 통해 기초데이터를 구축하였으며 유역특성을 고려하여 총 8개 지점을 선정하여 조사하였다. 모니터링 결과 비강우시의 수질농도 평균값을 살펴보면, BOD, T-N, T-P 의 경우 모두 상류지점에서 하류로 가면서 점점 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 특히 축사 밀집지역인 상류지역서 가장 높은 농도를 나타냈다. 강우시의 경우 하류부분에서 가장 높은 값을 보였으며 가축자원화시설이 위치한 지점부터 높아진 후 하류로 갈수록 점점 농도가 증가된다. T-N의 경우 축사와 농경지가 밀집되어 있는 포함하는 지점에서 높은 값을 기록하였으며, 유량이 많아지는 하류지점에서 가장 낮은 값을 나타내었다. T-P의 경우도 BOD와 마찬가지로 하류지점에서 가장 높은 값을 나타냈다.

  • 낙동강 하류구간인 남강합류점에서 낙동강하구둑까지는 하상경사가 약 1/10,000보다 작은 매우 완만한 경사를 이루고 있으므로 홍수기 고수위를 장시간 유지하는 등 홍수소통에 불리한 조건을 가지고 있다. 이처럼 하상경사가 매우 완만한 하천에서는 홍수파의 전파 특성이 하상경사, 수심경사, 그리고 이송가속도와 국부가속도 경사 등 운동량 방정식의 각 항 모두에 영향을 크게 받는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서, 낙동강 하류구간의 홍수분석 정확도 개선을 위해서는 대상구간에 유입하는 홍수수문량의 크기 및 변화를 정확히 반영하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 하천 본류로 유입하는 지류의 홍수량을 산정하는 보편적인 방법은 지류 하류의 수위관측소에서 구축된 수위-유량관계곡선을 이용하는 것이다. 그러나 본류 수위의 배수영향을 받는 지류 하류 구간에서는 단일 수위-유량관계의 결정이 불가능하므로 지류 유출량 산정을 위한 새로운 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 낙동강 하류구간(창녕 함안보~낙동강하구둑) 유역면적의 약 45% 이상을 차지하는 밀양강 유역의 홍수기 유출량 산정을 위하여 HPG(Hydraulic Performance Graph)를 이용하였다. HPG는 배수영향을 받아 시시각각 수리특성이 변화하는 구간에서도 유량 및 상하류 수위 등 수리특성 추정에 합리적인 결과를 제공하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 2012년 태풍 산바 사상을 대상으로 HPG를 이용하여 산정한 밀양강 홍수량과 기존 수위-유량관계로 산정한 홍수량을 각각 경계조건으로 사용한 경우로 구분하여, 낙동강 하류구간 주요 지점인 삼랑진과 구포의 홍수위 예측 정확도를 비교하였다. 비교결과, 기존 방법과 HPG를 이용한 방법 모두 예측시점이 첨두발생 시각에 가까워질수록 평균오차가 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 기존 방법은 예측시점에 따라 평균오차의 변화가 단조롭지 않고 진동이 발생한 반면, HPG를 이용한 방법은 기존 방법보다 오차의 감소가 단조롭고 지속적인 것으로 나타났으며 평균오차 또한 작았다. 본 연구결과, 배수영향을 받는 지류 하류구간에서 HPG를 이용한 유입량 산정은 본류 홍수위 예측 정확도 개선을 위한 경제적인 대안이 될 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper deals with a methodology for searching optimal route of hazard material (hazmat) vehicles. When we make a decision of hazmat optimal paths, there is a conflict between the public aspect which wants to minimize risk and the private aspect which has a goal of minimizing travel time. This paper presents Efficient Vector Labeling algorithm as a methodology for searching optimal path of hazmat transportation, which is intrinsically one of the multi-criteria decision making problems. The output of the presented algorithm is a set of Pareto optimal paths considering both risk and travel time at a time. Also, the proposed algorithm is able to identify non-dominated paths which are significantly different from each other in terms of links used. The proposed Efficient Vector Labeling algorithm are applied to test bed network and compared with the existing k-shortest path algorithm. Analysis of result shows that the proposed algorithm is more efficient and advantageous in searching reasonable alternative routes than the existing one.

Analysis on the Korean Highway in 2011 and 2017 Using Algorithms of Accessibility indices (접근성 지표의 알고리즘을 이용한 2011년과 2017년의 우리나라 고속도로 분석)

  • This paper proposes new algorithms of accessibility indices to analyze the connectivity of the Korean highway network. First of all, we find a transportation network that presents Korea's highway network in graphs in 2011 and 2017. And we analyze and compare the nation's highway network in 2011 and 2017 using concepts such as associated number, the relative distance, the accessibility, the degree of connectivity, the index of dispersion, the diameter of graph theory. To do this, an algorithm is presented which can easily obtain various accessibility indices from a given transportation network. Using the simulation results of this study, we can find city that is the center of traffic in the highway transportation network. In addition, cities that are included in the network but are relatively underdeveloped can be found and used as basic data for enhancing the connectivity of the nationwide traffic in the future. Moreover, the proposed algorithms of accessibility indices, which are modeled on highway transport networks, can help identify the accessibility space structure of each city and provide criteria for efficient and reasonable selection of alternatives in various regional planning processes, including transportation.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Share house quality, trust and commitment to reuse intention of share houses, which are used residences of the college students of South Korea, with a view to confirming whether such share houses can function as an alternative form of residence for college students and young generation. With this, it is intended to enhance the understanding of the current share house market and find implications in the reasonable supply of share houses in the near future and the improvement of the living environment. Literature reviews and empirical studies were conducted in this paper. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows; Regression analysis was conducted to see how tangibility, safety, empathy, reliability, and responsiveness of Share house quality affect trust, commitment, and reuse intension.

A Study on the Criminal Justice Rehabilitation System of Sweden (스웨덴 법무보호복지제도 연구)

  • The method of suppressing recidivism through punishment centered on punishment is showing limitations through criminal policy research in many countries. As an alternative to this, a restorative judicial law aimed at returning criminals to members of society through reconciliation and coordination of community members, victims, and perpetrators is emerging as a paradigm for crime prevention and recidivism. Sweden is a representative welfare state and is confirming positive effects through correction of criminals based on restorative justice. In addition, it has a stable system related to the legal protection welfare system, and maintains a low recidivism rate and social security through scientific and reasonable operation using evidence-based principles in the evaluation and certification process of operating programs. However, research on the legal protection system implemented in advanced welfare and correctional countries, including Sweden, is still insufficient in Korea. Therefore, this study aims to explore the direction of the domestic legal protection system through a review of Swedish criminal policy and legal protection system, and to identify insufficient areas and complementary points of the domestic system to lay the foundation for improving the domestic legal protection welfare system and expanding business.

Comparative Seismic Design of Bridges with Lead Rubber and Steel Bearings for the Ductile Failure Mechanism (지진격리교량과 강재받침교량의 연성파괴메커니즘에 의한 비교내진설계)

  • Many isolated bridges are designed and constructed after the introduction of the seismic design. However those bridges designed in engineering fields have unnecessarily high serviceability limit and brittle failure mechanism, which do not satisfy the seismic design concept. Such design results are due to the excessive substructure stiffness of the conventional design method as well as the misunderstanding of the seismic design method. In this study an isolated bridge designed with the conventional design method is selected and the same bridge with steel bearings is modelled for the comparative seismic design. From the comparison, the seismic design procedures satisfying the required performance levels are provided for the two bridges. It is confirmed that the isolated bridge requires more complicated design procedure with trial and error methods and reanalyses but provides higher serviceability limit compared to the bridge with steel bearings. However, because the required serviceability limit can also be obtained by adjusting substructure stiffness, it is a resonable seismic design process that an isolated bridge is to be considered as an alternative design when the ductile failure mechanism is not obtained with a bridge with steel bearings.

  • This study analyses customer data from a US online lending platform to empirically document the discriminatory treatment that low- and middle-income borrowers face in financial markets. Researchers are using financial data from nearly 2.93 million loans between 2007~2020 of the Lending Club on the open-source Kaggle platform. We find that thin-filers borrowers, especially those with lower credit scores, receive loans at higher interest rates. This discriminatory treatment undermines financial inclusion and has the potential to increase social inequality. The significance of this research is that it sheds substantial light on the problem of inequality in financial markets and, based on the findings, suggests concrete measures to ensure equitable access to finance for all customers and enhance sustainable financial inclusion. In doing so, we propose a shift towards enhancing the social responsibility of institutions.

  • Considerable amount of resources on roads, basic infrastructure, to promote economic development and distribution of goods is invested. Despite the necessity, its undesirable side effects are various environmental problems In order to efficiently evaluate these problems more than before, planning indictors for environment-friendly road constructions is proposed in this study. First, we make an investigation into real-life cases where the extracted planning indicators were applied. Second, it is suggested that an alternative assessment method efficaciously evaluate and/or adopt extracted planning indictors on road construction projects. Finally, criteria to determine environmental impacts with respect to planning indicators and apply them into real cases is proposed. This study has its significance in upgrading past pro-environmental indictors for road construction, suggesting reasonable applications of planning indicators, and setting criteria to determine environmental impacts based on planning indicators.

Simulation Reconfiguration using Entity Plug-in approach for Weapon System Effectiveness Analysis (무기체계 효과도 분석을 위한 개체 플러그인 방식의 모의 재구성 연구)

  • The simulation-based weapon system effectiveness analysis is to support the decision making in the acquisition process of the defense domain. The effectiveness of the weapon system is a complexly influenced indicator from various factors such as environment, doctrine and so on. And the measurement of effectiveness can be defined differently in compliance with major issues in the weapon system. Because of this, the weapon system effectiveness analysis requires the comparative experiment of various alternatives based on the underlying assumption. This paper presents the efficient approach to reconfigure the simulation using the reflection technique. The proposed method contains the recoupling and resetting the simulation entity using DEVS(Discrete EVent System specification) formalism-based dynamic plug-in method. With the proposed method, this paper designs the effectiveness analysis environment that can efficiently handle the various alternatives of the weapon system.
