유식불교에서 심(心)과 신(身)의 이해

  • 유식불교에서 신(身)은 안 이 비 설 신 5근(根)을 갖춘 몸인 유근신(有根身)이며, 심(心)은 일단 의식을 일으키는 것, 즉 의식(意識)의 소의(所依)인 의근(意根)이다. 유식은 불교 본래의 무아론적 관점에 따라 의근은 개별적 사유 실체로서의 자아도 아니고, 그렇다고 5근과 마찬가지의 색법, 즉 물리적 심장이나 뇌일 수도 없으며, 나아가 이전 순간의 의식에 불과한 것도 아니라고 논한다. 따라서 유식은 의근을 제6의식과 구별되는 또 다른 식, 제7말나식(자아식)으로 간주한다. 그러나 유식에서 말나식은 실재하는 식이 아니라, 자신(자아)이 실재하지 않는다는 무아(無我)를 모르는 한, 존재하는 망상의 식, 비량(非量)의 식이다. 즉 말나식은 자신보다 더 심층의 식인 제8아뢰야식(일체 현상세계를 형성하는 근본식)의 활동을 알지 못하는 무명 불각(不覺)으로 인해, 자신을 그 세계 속 일부분인 유근신의 주체(자아)로 여기고 집착하는 식이다. 결국 유식에서 궁극의 심(心)은 견(見) 상(相)으로 이원화되기 전의 심층 아뢰야식이고, 개별적인 신(身)과 물리적 세계는 모두 그 아뢰야식의 변현 결과이다.

  • Zu Wen-Zao(朱文藻), Li Tiao-Yuan(李調元), Hong Liang-Ji(洪亮吉), Peng Yuan-Rui(彭元瑞), Qian Dong-Huan(錢東垣), Sun Xing-Yan(孫星衍), Ruan Yuan(阮元), Chen Zhan(陳?), Wu Shi-Fen(嗚式芬), Feng Gui-Fen(馮桂芬), He Shao-Ji(何紹基), Fan Zu-Yin(潘祖蔭) made the contributions to the theoretical construction to the science of Chinese characters in their books "Shuwenxizhuankao(說文繫傳考異)", "Liushufenhao(六書分毫)", "Liushuzhuanzhulu(六書轉注錄)", "Xiqinggujian(西淸古鑒)", "Xiaoeryajiaozheng(小爾雅校證)", "Jiujingzhengsuzikao(九經正俗字考)", "Jiguzhaizhongdingyiqikuanshi(積古齋鐘鼎?器款識)", "Shuwenshengxi(說文聲繫)", "Shuwenjiuzizhengyi(說文解字正義)", "Jungulu(?古錄)", "Shuwenjiuzizhukaozheng (說文解字段注考正)", "Shuowenduanzhubozheng(說文段注駁正)", "Haidongjinshilu(海東金石錄)". They analyzed the rules behind character construction, and tried to find out the nature of Chinese characters, the relationship between Chinese characters, the evolutionary laws of Chinese characters, the characteristic of ancient Chinese characters etc.

  • 근대 이전 몽골 부족의 기록생산은 토바어, 훈누어, 숨베어, 거란어, 한자 등 여러 고대 언어에 의해 십여 종의 기록에 집중되어 있음을 발굴기록을 통해 알 수 있다. 최초의 몽골어 기록생산은 소고도어의 영향을 받은 몽골비사라고 할 수 있다. 소그도어에 기반한 몽골문자는 13세기 이후 몽골의 기록생산에 사용되었으며 위구르어와는 다른 독창적인 문자이다. 칭키즈칸의 석문은 몽골제국의 공문 생산의 증거이며 소그도어로 쓰여졌다. 이후 몽골제국의 기록생산은 몽골제국이 여러 나라에 보낸 기록을 통해 알 수 있다. 몽골의 전통기록은 고지, 포고, 칙서, 임명장 등 여러형태가 있으며, 제목, 본문, 결재 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 본고에서는 몽골 전통문서의 형식과 구성요소에 대한 설명을 제공한다. 17세기 이후 몽골의 공식문서는 13세기의 문서 양식에 기초하고 있다.

  • 'KS V 0054–단정용어' 는 '스포츠 및 오락용 단정' 의 용어에 대하여 규정하고 있다. '스포츠 및 오락용 단정'은 "플레저 보트" 라고 부르기도 한다. 특히, 단정(短_짧을 단, 艇_거룻배 정)은 소형선의 총칭으로 현재 국내에서는 소형 선박, 레저 보트, 플레저 보트, 레저 선박, 수상레저기구, 동력수상레저기구 등 용도 및 관계 법령에 따라 달리 정의하고 있다. 이에 일본식, 한자식 용어와 외래어가 혼용되어 사용되고 있는 플레저 보트(선체, 의장품, 범장 등)의 용어 표준화 방안을 제시 하고 또한 'KS V 0054–단정용어' 의 개정 방안을 제시 하고자 한다.

  • 조선해양 관련 산업에서는 아직 일본식 및 한자식 조선용어, 외래어가 자리 잡아 일상적으로 사용되고 있다. 대표적인 예로 고박(固縛, こばく), 취부(取付, とりつ), 반생(番線, ばんせん) 등이다. 용어의 정의는 국가 표준 및 관련 법령의 기본이며, 특히 국내 해양레저 관련 산업의 경쟁력 향상을 위하여 필수적이다. 이에 일부 혼용 중인 해양레저장비 관련 선체, 의장품, 범장 등과 관련하여 영문 명칭, 외래어 사용시 표기법, 권장 한국어 등으로 구분하여 표준화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Type of Cho(椒) and The Meaning of Gocho(고쵸) (초(椒)의 종류와 고쵸의 의미)

  • In this article, another literatures that original Korean own red pepper (Gochu) was cultivated from ancient years and there were many other varieties of Gocho in Korea were shown. The first book where Gochu was appeared as written in Hangul (Korean own character invented by King Sejong in 1433) was Hunmongjahoe (訓蒙字會) written by Choi Sejin in 1527. However, many books where cho(椒) indicating Korean red pepper (Gochu) was described before Hunmongjahoe. This is consistent with Hongjaejonso(弘齋全書, 1799). King Jungjo asked Kim Dalsun about the type of Cho(椒) in Hongjaejonso, Kim Dalsun answered to King Jungjo that there are many types of Cho such as Chokcho(蜀椒), Jincho(秦椒), Dancho(丹椒), Daecho(大椒) and Hocho(胡椒). When common characteristics in Chokcho, Jincho, Dancho, Daecho and Hocho in Hongjaejonso were studied, it was found that these Chos had one word in common "Gocho(고쵸)" in the Korean translation. Also several Chos such as Buncho(蕃椒), Nammancho(南蠻椒), Mancho(蔓椒) were characterized as Gocho in ancient books. In conclusion there were several Chos such as Chokcho, Jincho, Dancho, Daecho, Hocho, Buncho, Nammancho, Mancho, etc indicating the various types of Cho, and these were all written as Gocho(고쵸) in the Korean character. An original Korean Gocho should be cultivated in Korean peninsula. Several different types of Cho were imported during the course of trade with foreign countries, and these foreign Chos called as Buncho(蕃椒), Nammancho(南蠻椒), Mancho(蔓椒) by discriminating original Korean Gocho(고쵸). The original name of Gochu(고추) is Gocho. Later the Chinese character for Gocho(苦椒) invented in response to the Korean character of "Gocho(고쵸)" by necessity.

The History of Chongkukjang (청국장의 역사)

  • Someone said Chongkukjang(淸麴醬) might be a Jang(醬) that made it possible to eat quickly at the time of war, and it is called Jonkukjang(戰國醬), or it might have been learned from the Qing Dynasty, and it was also called Chongkukjang(淸國醬) or Jonsijang(煎?醬). It is not true. Even more they say the first appearance of Chongkukjang in the Korean ancient documents is in "Jeungbosallimgyeongje(增補山林經濟)" of the 1700s. Other argument is that Chongkukjang is also known as the Three Kingdoms since it was in the records of 'Shi(?)' which means Meju and chongkukjang written in "The Chronicles of the Three States(三國史記)". It is not clear whether Chongkukjang was introduced from the Qing Dynasty (1600s) or from the Three kingdom period. In this article, the history of Chongkukjang was studied through the records of ancient documents. There was a Chongkukjang(?) in Goguryeo and Silla era. Chongkukjang was called as Jyonkuk(젼국), Chyonkuk(쳔국), Chyongkuk(?국), and it was written as '?' as the Chinese character. Chongkukjang began to be perceived as Jang such as Doenjang and Gochujang at some time, and it was used as Jonsijang, Jonkukjang, but now it was unified as Chongkukjang(淸國醬). The meaning of '?' also means Chongkukjang until the 1500s, and after 1600, it happened to be it's meaning is changed to Meju and Doenjang. There is no evidence that Chongkukjang has history of war or food related to the Qing Dynasty. Chongkukjang has more than 2200 years of history, but since it was there before it recorded, it had a history of thousands of years earlier than this.

Correlation between the Geographical-name and Scale of Space Surrounded with Hills - Focused on Jinan-gun in Jeollabukdo - (지명과 지형적 위요(圍繞) 및 공간규모 인식의 관계 - 전북 진안군을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find one of the standard scales of outside space. Fortunately, Korea has interesting old geographical name representing the environment where people feel comfortable by being enclosed by hills or mountains like in a room. The name of Chinese letter "谷" meaning valley is enunciated as "Gog", and Korean native equivalent word is "Sil." We thought we can find the standards of scale of the villages with name that ends with "Gog" or "Sil" by examining the scale of the village of the certain geographical name. We could collect 33 village's geographical names in Jin An Gun area, examined the scale, and considered the results from various aspects. The main conclusions are following: 1) Almost of the 33 villages with geographical names of "Gog", or "Sil" were surrounded by the hills of mountains, and the scales of the spaces surrounded were roughly 10~25ha. 2) Our ancestors felt comfortable be being enclosed with hills or mountains like in a room, and they have recognized the certain scale of the enclosed spaces. 3) After converting the 33 areas into squares for convenience, the scales of the spaces with the geographical name of "Gog" or "Sil" were roughly $300m{\times}300m{\sim}500m{\times}500m$.

  • Being the most populated country in the world, China's one-child policy is its basic national policy. This basic national policy is implemented together with the Maternity Insurance, which is one of the five main social insurances in the Chinese society. The Maternity Insurance is society's way of recognizing women's contribution towards child- bearing and is of utmost important significance. However, with regard to women who are not living within the city or are not working, not only are they not the target for one-child policy, they are also unable to receive the social benefit from the Maternity Insurance. Among the conditions for payment of the Maternity Insurance is the adherence to the one-child policy. Ultimately, working women living in towns and cities adhering to the one-child policy will have a positive influence on the Maternity Insurance. However this places a restriction on reducing the discrepancies to benefit from the Maternity Insurance. On the contrary, women from the villages and those moving between towns and cities are those who really need the Maternity Insurance and yet are unable to benefit from it. While we improve on the Maternity Insurance to include this group of women, we have to at the same time consider the effect it has on the one-child policy. The reformation of the Maternity Insurance has to embody the principle of a harmonious society. It has to have a certain order in the country's national policies, so as to be included in the economic policies of towns and villages.

The Checking the Validity of 'Nongak' and 'Pungmul', and Objection to the Criticism of 'Nongak' ('농악(農樂)'과 '풍물(風物)'의 타당성 검토와 '농악(農樂)' 비판에 대한 반론)

  • This essay is a study aimed at rationality and utility of two terms, 'Nongak' and 'Pungmul'. I examined how the terms have been today, by diachrony based on review of historical material. I tried to secure the historical context and basis about my argument, quoting many historical material from Korea Dynasty period, Joseon Dynasty period and the colonial period of the imperial Japan during 1910-45 to today. I examined many objective arguments about the 'Nongak', and pointed out the mistake of the objective argument. And I examined the means and rationality of the terms, 'Nongak', 'Pungmul', 'Pungmulgut', 'Pungmulnory'. The 'Pungmul' has been used as the means of instrument for a long time from Joseon Dynasty period. It is only rational using as the means of instrument but as the means of Performance of Nongak considering the historical legitimacy. The 'Pungmul' is Sino-Korean word, not korean native letter. The Pungmulgut means the 'ritual by Pungmul', so it can be recognized the rationality, but have a weak point that it is a neologism being made by some intellectuals in 1980s. In addition to, it is not used im performing field. 'Pungmulnory' has a limit to call the Nongak as a synthetic art. 'Nongak'means a synthetic art that farmers who were absolute majority in agrarian society of Korea have made and developed. So I conclude that 'Nongak'is the best rational term.
