Relationship between Acculturative Stress and Mental Health of Multicultural Youths - Focused on the Mediating Effect of Social Support - (다문화 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 정신건강의 관계 -사회적 지지 매개 효과 중심으로-)

  • This study is to investigate the mediating effects of social support on the relationship between acculturative stress and mental health of multicultural youth. The results of the study were as follows: 1.573 of the 4th(middle 1) to 6th(middle 3) of the multicultural youth panel were analyzed by AMOS 22.0. First, the acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a positive effect on mental health. Second, acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a negative effect on social support. Third, social support of multicultural youths had a negative effect on mental health. Fourth, social support of multicultural youths had a mediating effect on the effect of acculturation stress on mental health. This result shows that the stress of multicultural youths in the process of adapting to the dual culture negatively affects social support, and this social support has a positive effect on the mental health of multicultural youths.

An Empirical Case Study of Spreading Public Opinion: Supporting Rates of 19th Presidential Election (여론 확산 시점과 크기에 대한 실증 사례 연구: 19대 대선 후보자 지지도를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this case study is to investigate an empirical analysis on how public opinion spreads, when is the effect to occur, and how much effective. Data from the 19th presidential election period, specifically supporting rates for a candidate, Moon Jae-in were used. Results indicated that a supporting rate of increase were not linear and the points where the rate of increase is enhancing was 27-8%. It was 1.4 times higher than the previous period. Results providing this research is not appropriate for generalizability due to a characteristic of a case study, but this study has a value in trying to statistically analyze the accurate figures for how much 'majority opinion' is.

The Moderating Effect of Online Social Support in the Relationship between Rejection Sensitivity and SNS Addiction Tendency (거부민감성과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 온라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과)

  • This study confirmed the moderating effect of online social support on the rejection sensitivity and SNS addiction tendency of adults. For this purpose, a survey was conducted using the SNS addiction propensity scale, rejection sensitivity scale, and online social support scale targeting 486 adults nationwide. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27 and PROCESS Macro 3.5. As a result of this study, first, SNS addiction tendency, rejection sensitivity, and online social support were all positively correlated. Second, in the relationship between rejection sensitivity and SNS addiction tendency, online social support showed a moderating effect in the male group. The results of this study are significant in that they confirmed the importance of rejection sensitivity and online social support in confirming the tendency of SNS addiction in male and female groups. Based on these results, the limitations of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were presented.

Seam Efficiency of Geotextile and Verification of Allowable Bearing Capacity of Soft Ground (토목섬유 봉합효율과 연약지반 허용지지력 현장검증)

  • Since the dredging reclaimed land consisting of soft ground is very weak in support, the difficult and complex factors should be considered in the design to calculate accurate bearing capacity of soft ground. Recently, various reinforcement construction methods of soft ground have been designed for dredged landfills, but the stabilities are predicted by calculating conventional Meyerhof (1974) equation for trafficability in soft ground. Conventional equations increase economic costs by underestimating bearing capacity of weak ground in order to ensure constructive safety, so a modified equation has been proposed from the literature. The paper attempts to experiment and compute important factors, such as stitching fiber and seam tensile strength of geotextiles, that are not theoretically considered and can be identified in the field. In addition, The evaluation of the bearing capacity of the modified equation is verified to be stable for trafficability through the plate bearing test performed on site.

Design and Performance Evaluation of Support Module for Modular Road System (모듈러 도로시스템을 위한 지지모듈 설계 및 성능평가)

  • As the number of using road in Korea increases, maintenance costs and traffic congestion costs also increase. In order to reduce maintenance cost and time of road, existing long - lived modular road system has been proposed. In this study, the design and performance evaluation of the adaptable support module, which is the substructure of the proposed system, was performed. Two adaptable (Cross-Beam type)support modules were designed and fabricated to determine the load and shape. A adaptable support module was constructed and a static load test was carried out to select the type with better performance. As a result of the load test, the maximum value of the measured earth pressure difference is about 158 kPa and the settlement amount is about 0.032 mm in the two types of adaptable support modules. Based on these results, it is concluded that the performance of the adaptable support module of the bottom curved cross-beam type is better.

Correlation and Associated Factors of Social Support and Social Participation for Life Care of in Stroke Patients Living in Community (지역사회에 거주하고 있는 뇌졸중 환자의 라이프케어를 위한 사회적 지지와 사회참여의 상관성 및 관련요인)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the social support and social participation and to analyze the correlation and associated factors of social support and participation in social support for life care in stroke patients living in community. Scores for the social support as a moderator of life stress and the Korean version of the Reintegration to Normal Living Index (K-RNLI) were surveyed using a face to face test for 92 patients who had a stroke between September 3, 2018, and January 10, 2019. As a result, there was a high correlation between social support and social participation(p<.05). Factors related to social support were living together and social participation, and factors related to social participation were type of stroke, relationship with patients, and social support. This study found that social support and social participation are related and important factors for successful rehabilitation in stroke patients living in the community. This study could be used as a basis for rehabilitation intervention in stroke patients living in the community.

Estimation of Axial toad Capacity for Tapered Piles Using Equivalent Transformation (등가변형을 이용한 테이터 말뚝의 지지력 산정)

  • In this study, a method using equivalent transformation for estimation of the axial load capacity of tapered piles is proposed. While preexistent methods for estimating the axial load capacity of tapered piles have been based on the effect of soil state and taper angle, a new design method is proposed considering cone resistance $q_c$ and equivalent transformation in sand. Through tapered pile simplified by using equivalent transformation, a new method fur quick and easy estimation of the axial load capacity of tapered pile is proposed for practical use. In order to verify the proposed method, calibration chamber test and field test were conducted. In calibration chamber test, comparison of estimated axial load capacity with measured one showed that the standard deviation and COV (Coefficient Of Variation) of estimated $Q_t$ is $0.05{\sim}0.121$, $0.04{\sim}0.05$ respectively. For field test, axial load capacity by proposed method shows 2.5% under-estimation in comparison with measured value. As a result, it is found that proposed method produces satisfactory predictions for tapered piles.

Evaluation of the Resistance Bias Factors to Develop LRFD for Driven Steel Pipe Piles (LRFD 설계를 위한 항타강관말뚝의 저항편향계수 산정)

  • The resistance bias factors for driven steel pipe piles are evaluated as a part of study to develop the LRFD(Load and Resistance Factor Design) for foundation structures in Korea. The 43 data sets of static load tests and soil property tests performed in the whole domestic area were collected and analyzed to determine the representative bearing capacities of the piles using various methods. Based on the statistical analysis of the data, the Davisson's criterion is proved to be the most reasonable method for estimation of pile bearing capacity among the methods used. The static bearing capacity formulas and the Meyerhof method using N values are applied to calculate the design bearing capacity of the piles. The resistance bias factors of the driven steel pipe piles are evaluated respectively as 0.98 and 1.46 by comparison of the bearing capacities for both of the static bearing capacity formulas and the Meyerhof method. It is also shown that uncertainty of the static bearing capacity formulas is relatively less than that of the Meyerhof method.

  • SOFC cell 하나의 전위차는 약1.1V이기 때문에 발전용으로 사용하기 위해서는 수많은 단전지를 직렬로 연결하는 구조가 필요하다. 이러한 stack의 디자인에서 발생하는 문제를 획기적으로 개선한 형태가 하나의 지지체에 셀을 직렬로 연결함으로 전극의 선폭 및 단위 셀 간의 간격이 기존 평판형, 원통형에 비해 대폭 축소되어 전극 및 연결재의 저항손실을 최소화할 수 있는 Segmented형 SOFC이다. Segmented SOFC에 적용하기 위한 세라믹 다공성 지지체는 연료와 공기에서의 화학적 안정성, 셀의 구성소재와 반응이 없으며 열팽창계수가 유사해야하는 특성을 가져야하는데 그 중에서도 지지체로써 적절한 기계적 강도와 높은 가스투과도가 요구되어진다. 본 연구에서는 고온에서 안정한 Spinel의 MgAl2O4를 주성분으로 하는 다공성 지지체를 압출 성형하여 평관형으로 제조하였으며 활성탄을 기공형성제로 사용하여 연료의 공급이 원활하도록 약 30%의 기공율을 가지는 다공성 세라믹 지지체를 제조하였다. 제조된 세라믹 지지체에 연료극(NiO/YSZ), 전해질(TZ8Y), 공기극(LSM)을 코팅하여 실제 SOFC에 적용이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • 수소 에너지는 인류가 당면해 있는 대체에너지와 환경문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법 중 하나이며, 전 세계적으로 수소 제조/정제 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 수소 제조/정제 분야 중 분리막에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 분리막 지지체로 는 SUS, Ceramic, Nikel 등의 소재들이 사용되고 있지만 본 연구에서는 수소취성이 강하고 제조원가가 낮으며 가공 성형하기 쉬운 Nikel을 사용하였다. 분리막 지지체는 Nikel Powder 전처리 과정을 통해 불순물을 제거하였으며, 몰드에서 가압 성형 후 기계적 강도 증가를 위해 고온에서 짧은 시간동안 소성 하였다. 분리막의 $H_2$ Flux 향상을 위한 방법으로 지지체 표면 조도 증가를 위해 polishing을 하였다. 표면 조도 특성은 polishing 조건에 따라 많은 차이점이 있기에, 다양한 조건에서 polishing한 분리막 지지체의 표면 조도를 SEM 분석을 통하여 지지체로서의 $H_2$ Flux향상에 어떠한 영향이 있는가를 알아보았다.
