The purpose of this study is to inspect the case of university convergence education on elderly education. The Center for Academic Continuing Education (ZAWiW) at Ulm University in Germany aims to inquiry the diversity and differentiation of university and related institutions for senior education by analyzing the linkages between various major areas related to the subject of the elderly and cooperation models between generations. Various topics related to research and life in the elderly are being conducted with a focus on the participation of elderly learners. Through seasonal academy and Ulm 3rd Generation University, connection between regions and universities and interdisciplinary convergence are being actively provided. It can lead to a differentiated strategy of the university for the education of the elderly.

This study examines a study of communication factor in Lunyu, as a communication text, in terms of communicator, audience, message, communication factor, communication text, interdisciplinary research. In many respects, it is generally accepted that Lunyu have been the generic references of the Oriental culture. Lunyu consider ethics, logic, and practicability as the qualifying requirement of communicator, asserting that communicator should speak true language, like a "chuntzu"(君子) does, and should also put their language into practice. The audience's attitude and method as contained in Lunyu are that hearers should have sharp ears for language, hear selectively the right language, and use the language suitable to the situation. It is also emphasized that the Hearer should actively lead in the situation of transactional communications. In Lunyu, one property of message is that language, which determines the rise and fall of a nation and is also the basis of judgement for other people, should comply with ethics and reasons and sould also be put into practice. In other words, credible message, as the practice of language, is the practical requirement of ethics and the qualification of a "chuntzu"(君子, superior man) in ruling the nation or conducting one's life.

The Genetic Algorithm has been frequently applied by many researchers as one of the population surface modelling tool in estimating the regional population based on the gridded spatial system. Taking the East-Hwasung area as the case, this study first builds a gridded population data based on the KLIS and eAIS databases as well as municipal population survey data, and then constructs the attribute values of the explanatory variables by way of GIS tools. The GA model is run to maximize its fitness function measuring the correlation coefficient between the observed and predicted values of the 70 population cells. It is shown that the GA output predicted reasonably consistent and meaningful coefficient estimates for the explanatory variables of the model.

This study aims to provide theoretical base in criminal law for engineers in the viewpoint of jurists to encourage interdisciplinary studies on cyber crimes. Apart from seriousness of discussion on torrent cyber crimes, a good effect of the internet networks such as sharing of information has bee emphasized while the evil influence of its side effect has been neglected. Therefore, this study suggests that we need to consider reinforcement of cyber ethics, and legal mind of IT technicians, strict security by managers, active efforts to develop legitimate contents by managers of web hardware and P2P, and reinforcement of punishments against crimes by internet users. And this study approaches new norms on computer and cyber crimes in interpretational sense of criminal law, and provides the theoretical base of the criminal law focusing on traditional theories, assumptions, and precedents involved in regulations against computer virus distribution.

In this study, in order to analyze the current status of the data science curriculum in Korea as of October 2019, we conducted an analysis of the prior studies on the curriculum in the data science field and the competencies required for data professional. This study was conducted on 80 curricula and 2,041 courses, and analyzed from the following perspectives; 1) the analysis of the characteristics of data science domain, 2) the analysis of key competencies in data science, 3) the content analysis of the course titles. As a result, data science program in Korea has become a research-oriented professional curriculum based on an academic approach rather than a technical, vocational, and practitional view. In addition, it was confirmed that various courses were established with a focus on statistical analysis competency, and interdisciplinary characteristics based on information technology, statistics, and business administration were reflected in the curriculum.

This paper aims to examine the philosophical significance of neuroethics and its unique position within the cognitive paradigm, and to discuss major issues of neuroethics. Recent advances in neuroscience enable more direct access and intervention to human mind, which reduces the distinction between matter and mind and brings up new philosophical questions on human nature. Neuroethics takes interdisciplinary and integrative approach, in order to deal with the ethical issues related to new findings and technology of neuroscience that cannot be covered by the traditional legal and social systems. Some of the ethical issues of neuroscience overlap with the classical bioethics problems but majority of major issues are unique to neuroethics. These issues are mainly related to mind reading through the observation and decoding of brain activities and to cognitive enhancement through directly manipulating brain functions. Considering the current status and trends of Korean neuroscientific research, it is necessary to begin in-depth discussion of neuroethical issues with the collaboration among experts in related fields.

The objective of this study is to understand and give an overview regarding research trends in digital signage in Korea, which has recently received significant attention from the media market. For the past 10 years, from 2006 to 2016, 69 studies related to digital signage were found. Following the coding guidelines, the present study conducted a content analysis on the published peer-reviewed journals in Korea including their published year, each journal's number of compilations, journal ratings, number of researchers and their major, field of research, research medium, research method, research samples, and the applied statistical analysis. Through the analyzed results, we found out that there are numerous studies on digital signage in various fields of study, including media content. A number of case studies and experimental studies were made. However, theoretical research on digital signage was still found to be insufficient. Lastly, a wider variety of theories are suggested to be applied in future study along with conducting joint research with cooperation between industry partners and academics in order to further advance the research on digital signage.

If the stage of establishing concept in interaction design approaches only analytic and numeral & quantitative aspects, it would be lack of new and creative ideas of concept for the suitable and proper relationship among the human and tools or machinery which is required in interaction design. This study has explored the possibility of access through the research of diverse point of views in the various knowledge systems about the relationship. That is this study has expanded from improvement-intended approach as analyzing human and tools and solving problems with analytic and engineering aspect to value-intended approach as pursuing new ideas though various points of relationship. Or so, to examine 'Relationship' in other knowledge systems, it could be the basic research for more deepening and specific study in interaction design. To integrate this study, at first, it deals with interaction design and process. Through the specific method, it has investigated the current interaction design and related studies. In the next, it has researched the study of relationship in oriental and western philosophy, cultural science, social science, natural science and engineering so it has examined the relationship in the various points of knowledge systems. Based on the contents, it has considered the possibility of access in interaction design to explain the relationship in the various points of knowledge systems.

This article focuses on reviewing place branding theories as a major toolkit of 'soft regional development'. Place branding provides sophisticate methodologies to strengthen city and regional image and identity. For effective place marketing practices, four of useful place branding tools are suggested. They include the methodology of place identity development, brand leadership system in local governance, construction of city brand architecture, and evaluation model for city brand equity. A process model is suggested for systematically organizing the diverse tools of place marketing and branding. The model is expected to be used as a framework of strategical soft regional development and planning. The place branding process model is to be an important theoretical and methodological basement of postmodern urban and regional development on which creativity, symbol and signs are more emphasized. More in-depth theoretical and empirical studies are needed. Geographical tradition and knowledge can play important roles in this inter-disciplinary process.

Recently, the value and the status of the body that are due to the mobile wearable device have attracted attention globally confusing in media convergence age. The mobile wearable device connect worldwide that are networked to overcome the limitations of space and time, also it provide a great opportunity to be able to us to open a new cultural experience and value to the populace. In this study, spatial information acquired by the virtual reality 360 degrees camera around the Gangnam station. Also, extended spatial experience performed by use of virtual reality headset, smart phone connected to the Youtube platform. Sense of body can also lose its value due to voyeurism, it is facing the transformational period in civilization. In conclusion, through deep research into the intersections of technology and a human being for the future, maintaining the proper balance is the key. Therefore, this study identified the need for interdisciplinary research.
