This study classifies the characteristics of e-learning learners into personal and psychological factors and examines how they affect the e-learning effects and intention to reuse. For this purpose, a research study was conducted targeting university students at Y and K universities in Gyeongsangbuk-do. As a result, first, the grade, self-control, concentration and self-efficacy of the learner influenced the learning effect of e-learning. Second, learner's grade, e-learning experience, self-efficacy, and learning effect were found to influence e-learning intention. Therefore, the system design and the managerial role of the instructor should be considered in order to develop various contents considering the characteristics of university students and to manage the learning process by themselves. The results of this study are expected to provide effective data for improving the learning effect of e-learning and to provide basic data on individual characteristics of e-learning learners.

본 논문에서는 분자의 특성을 정확하게 예측하기 위해 효과적인 사전학습(pretraining) 전략과 트랜스포머(Transformer) 모델을 활용한 방법을 제시한다. 딥러닝을 활용한 분자의 성능을 예측하는 연구는 그동안 레이블이 부족한 분자데이터의 특성에 의해 학습 때 사용된 데이터이외의 분자데이터에 대해 일반화 능력이 떨어지는 어려움을 겪었다. 이 논문에서 제시한 모델은 사전학습(pretraining)을 수행할 때 자기지도학습(self-supervised training)을 사용하여 부족한 레이블에 의한 문제점을 피할 수 있다. 대규모 분자 데이터셋으로부터 학습된 이 모델은 4가지 다운스트림 데이터셋에 대해 모두 우수한 성능을 보여주어 일반화 성능이 뛰어나며 효과적인 분자표현을 얻을 수 있음을 보인다.

Computational Literacy education is being required in current digital age, but the educational strategy of it is lacking. In traditional education, instructors have been teaching by considering learners' characteristics for effective learning. It is necessary to investigate their characteristics for applying this method to computational literacy education. Therefore, we taught programming that is main area on computational literacy, and analyzed learners' characteristics focused on Felder's learning style and multiple intelligence. That is, we taught 194 university students computational literacy with scratch that was one of the popular educational programming languages, and analyzed the relation among learning style, multiple intelligence and the students' programming performance. Also, we found considerations through comparing students' characteristics with experts' ones.

The increase in demand for e-learning has created a need to explore the implications of the emerging paradigm shift on the learning environment. To utilize information technology to improve learning processes, the pedagogical assumptions underlying the design of information technology for educational purposes must be understood. However, little theoretical development or empirical research has examined the learning effectiveness in web-based distance learning. In this regard, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate which factors of E-learning influence the effectiveness of education and expectation. Based on the prior studies of the education and business training field, research model and research hypotheses were developed. Factors studied in this paper were student characteristics, system environment and teacher characteristics. The result showed that the student characteristics has the significant effect on the effectiveness of education and expectation. However, the system characteristics and the teacher characteristics have the partial significant effects. This result is partially due to the subject characteristics of this study, because the subjects of this study are the students and they have already the experiences in IT and e-learning.

This is a literature review study on personality traits' role in language learning. Personality traits play an important role in language learning. In order to review research outcomes in recent studies, articles related to language learning and personality traits were collected through research databases such as ProQuest, Google Scholar, and EBSCO. Based on the analysis of collected literature, this study revealed that extraversion and openness to experience are the personality traits leading to the successful language learning. More specifically, extraversion was related to speaking skills while openness to experience was related to listening. It is also important to note which learning strategies are more likely to be utilized in second language learning and personality traits that are more likely to use them. These findings focus on writing skills, listening skills, and speaking skills. Further studies in the field are suggested.

This study attempted to examine the relationship between college students' participation in the learning community according to the characteristics of learners. To this end, the learning community divided the subject-linked learning community into a foundation learning community and an advanced learning community. Learner characteristics were classified by gender, grade, and major. A cross-analysis was conducted to examine the difference between participation in the foundation learning community and the advanced learning community according to the learner characteristics. The results are as follows. First, the participation of female students in the foundation learning community and the advanced learning community was higher than that of male students, but it was not statistically significant. Second, it was found that there was a significant difference in participation in the learning community according to the grade. In the case of the foundation learning community, the participation rate of the first and second year students was relatively high, and in the case of the advanced learning community, the ratio of the third and fourth year students was relatively high. Third, as a result of examining the differences by major, it was found that the participation rate of health and welfare universities was high in both the foundation learning community and the advanced learning community. Based on these results, discussions and suggestions are presented.

웹 기반 학습 환경에서 스캐폴딩 (Scaffolding) 전략은 내용 지식과 과제의 특성을 반영하고 학습자 수준과 특성에 맞게 도움을 제공하여 개별화된 학습 환경과 학습자가 스스로 학습할 수 있도록 추가적인 정보를 제공할 수 있는 효과적인 학습 전략이다. 본 연구에서는 경도정신지체 학생이 학업 성취도 향상을 위해서 초인지 스캐폴딩 전략을 적용한 웹 기반 학습 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 본 시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자에게 학습에 대한 방향과 목표를 명확하게 제시해 준다. 둘째, 과정에 집중할 수 있도록 학습단계마다 지원을 제공하여 학습의 효율성을 높이게 한다. 셋째, 교사와 학습자의 접근성이 용이하도록 개발하였다.

ITS(Intelligent Tutoring System) is a system that provides active and flexible tutoring conditions to learners, having adopted artificial intelligence to overcome the limitations of CAI(Computer Assisted Instruction). However, the existing ITS has a few problems; the system provides the same contents to every learner, not considering main variants of their learning and achievement, characters and levels, and therefore, it does not generate satisfactory results; the system does not offer a properly designed course schedule. Therefore, this thesis proposes ARS(Adaptive Recommendation System), founded on ITS, that provides contents designed based on the characters and levels of learners. To catch the characters of learners, the important variant for successful learning, ARS applies and embodies a module of self-assessment test. Also, it puts weighs according to the areas of learning which is different from the simplified assessment that asks for short and mechanical answers for the purpose of knowing the levels of the learners.

대학에서 실행되고 있는 정보활용능력 교육에 따른 학습자의 정보활용능력에 대한 자가인식의 변화는 학습자의 특성에 따라 차이가 나타날 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정보활용능력 교육의 효과에 영향에 미치는 학습자의 영향 요인을 조사 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 위해, D 대학의 한 학기 교양과목으로 개설되고 있는 정보활용능력 교육 프로그램을 대상으로 해당과목 수강생 47명의 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식을 교육전과 교육후의 질문지법을 통해 그 변화를 조사 분석하고 이들 학습자의 개인적인 특성을 파악하였다. 학습자의 특성에는 인구통계학적인 특성 이외에 유사 교육 프로그램 경험 유무, 도서관에 대한 인식 등이 조사되었다. 정보활용능력에 대한 자가 인식을 측정하기 위한 문항들은 ACRL의 고등 교육자를 위한 정보활용능력 평가기준을 참조하였고 사용된 분석도구는 Excel과 SPSS 17.0이다.

본 연구는 e-Learning 컨텐츠 품질과 서비스 품질 차원을 분류하고, 학습자 특성에 따른 e-Learning 성과와의 관계를 파악하는 것이다. 이에 기존 연구에 근거하여 e-Learning 컨텐츠 품질 차원을 교수설계, 내용성, 주의성으로 분류하고, 마케팅 분야의 정보 품질 모형 중에서 Parasuraman이 제시한 SERVQUAL 측정도구를 사용하여 e-Learning 서비스 품질 차원을 유형성, 신뢰성, 대응성, 확신성, 공감성으로 분류하였다. 이들 요인들이 e-Learning 성과(학습만족과 이용의도)에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 실정적으로 검정하고자 한다. 이들 요인들 간의 매개적 역할을 하는 많은 요인들이 존재할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자의 경험적, 태도적, 행동적 특성과 자기효능감과 같은 학습자 특성의 매개 효과에 주목하고 한다.
