Development of Convergence Education Program for 'Understanding of Molecular Structure' using Machine Learning Educational Platform (머신러닝 교육 플랫폼 활용 '분자 구조의 이해'를 위한 융합교육 프로그램 개발)

  • In this study, an educational program was developed so that artificial intelligence could be used as a transdisciplinary convergence education with other disciplines. The main educational content is designed for 8 hours using machine learning to help students understand the molecular structure dealt with in high school chemistry. The program developed in this study calculated the I-CVI (Item Content Validity Index) value through expert review, and as a result, none of the items were rejected with a score of .80 or higher. Because the program of this study combines the content elements of the chemistry subject and the information (artificial intelligence) subject academically, it is expected that the learner will be able to increase the convergence talent literacy. In addition, since it is not required to secure a additional number of hours for this educational program, the burden on teachers may be low.

Demand Forecasting Model for Bike Relocation of Sharing Stations (공유자전거 따릉이 재배치를 위한 실시간 수요예측 모델 연구)

  • The public bicycle of Seoul, Ttareungyi, was launched at October 2015 to reduce traffic and carbon emissions in downtown Seoul and now, 2023 Oct, the cumulative number of user is upto 4 million and the number of bike is about 43,000 with about 2700 stations. However, super growth of Ttareungyi has caused the several problems, especially demand/supply mismatch, and thus the Seoul citizen has been complained about out of stock. In this point, this study conducted a real time demand forecasting model to prevent stock out bike at stations. To develop the model, the research team gathered the rental·return transaction data of 20,000 bikes in whole 1600 stations for 2019 year and then analyzed bike usage, user behavior, bike stations, and so on. The forecasting model using machine learning is developed to predict the amount of rental/return on each bike station every hour through daily learning with the recent 90 days data with the weather information. The model is validated with MAE and RMSE of bike stations, and tested as a prototype service on the Seoul Bike Management System(Mobile App) for the relocation team of Seoul City.

A Real-time Vision-based Page Recognition and Markerless Tracking in DigilogBook (디지로그북에서의 비전 기반 실시간 페이지 인식 및 마커리스 추적 방법)

  • Many AR (Augmented Reality) applications have been interested in a marker-less tracking since the tracking methods give camera poses without attaching explicit markers. In this paper, we propose a new marker-less page recognition and tracking algorithm for an AR book application such as DigilogBook. The proposed method only requires orthogonal images of pages, which need not to be trained for a long time, and the algorithm works in real-time. The page recognition is done in two steps by using SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) descriptors and the comparison evaluation function. And also, the method provides real-time tracking with 25fps ~ 30fps by separating the page recognition and the frame-to-frame matching into two multi-cores. The proposed algorithm will be extended to various AR applications that require multiple objects tracking.

  • Brushless D.C. Motor is widely used for industrial application because of high efficiency and high power density. Especially, in home appliance, BLDCM is very useful due to high control performance and low acoustic noise. In this paper, BLDCM and its controller are designed and developed for tread mill application. With the restricted stator structure, permanent magnet rotor is designed for manufacturing and cost effectiveness using CAD and FEM analysis. A ferrite magnetic material is used as a rotor magnet for the cost and temperature advantages. For a stable operation of tread mill, over current and temperature can be detected and protected. The designed BLDCM and its controller was verified by the experimental results.

  • Recently, various attempts have been made to change traditional lecture classes such as flipped learning and blended learning, and their effectiveness has been verified in various fields. On the other hand, the 2015 revised curriculum enables students to participate in self-directed learning by encouraging student participation. Teachers should also try to change the teaching method, and to improve the teaching methods by confirming the advantages and disadvantages of such new teaching methods in accordance with the demands of the times. The purpose of this study is to analyze the case of applying Blended learning class to teach mathematics education for elementary education 1 class which is one of the required subject in university of education.

  • 최근 딥러닝이 상식 정보를 추론하지 못하거나, 해석 불가능하다는 한계점을 보완하기 위해 지식 그래프를 기반으로 자연어 텍스트를 생성하는 연구가 중요하게 수행되고 있다. 그러나 이를 위해서 대량의 지식 그래프와 이에 대응되는 문장쌍이 요구되는데, 이를 구축하는 데는 시간과 비용이 많이 소요되는 한계점이 존재한다. 또한 하나의 그래프에 다수의 문장을 생성할 수 있기에 구축자 별로 품질 차이가 발생하게 되고, 데이터 균등성에 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이에 본 논문은 공개된 지식 그래프인 디비피디아를 활용하여 전문가의 도움 없이 자동으로 데이터를 쉽고 빠르게 구축하는 방법론을 제안한다. 이를 기반으로 KoBART와 mBART, mT5와 같은 한국어를 포함한 대용량 언어모델을 활용하여 문장 생성 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 mBART를 활용하여 미세 조정 학습을 진행한 모델이 좋은 성능을 보였고, 자연스러운 문장을 생성하는데 효과적임을 확인하였다.

  • COVID-19로 인해 대학 수업 운영에도 많은 변화가 생겼고 현재도 다양한 수업 방식이 시도되고 있다. 특히 컴퓨터 프로그래밍과 같이 실습이 중요한 비중을 차지하는 교과목들은 대면수업이 더 효과적일 것이라고 많은 교수자들이 생각하고 있다. 본 연구진 역시 사전에 그런 인식을 가지고 연구를 진행하게 되었다. 그러나 예상했던 것보다 비 대면이나 혼합 방식의 수업을 선호하는 학생들의 비중이 꽤 컸으며 그 이유도 매우 구체적이고 다양하였다. 본 연구에서는 대면, 비대면, 혼합 방식의 수업을 모두 경험한 컴퓨터공학과 전공 수업 참여 학생들을 대상으로 효과적인 프로그래밍 수업 방식에 관한 설문을 실시하고 그 결과를 분석해보았다. 이 연구의 결과는 post COVID 19의 시대를 살아가면서 COVID 19으로 인해 생긴 대학 수업의 변화와 요구들을 수업 운영에 좀 더 긍정적으로 활용하는 기초가 될 것으로 생각한다.

Professional Practical of Physical Activities and Support Requests from Child Care Center Teachers of Infants Aged 1 to 2 (어린이집 영아반교사(1~2세반)의 신체활동 실행과 지원요구)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on physical activity management plans for different developmental levels in infants. This study analyses the difference between support requests and the professional practical of evaluations, content selection, and physical activity management plans displayed by teachers of one and two-year-old infants. Methods: The subjects of the study were 221 teachers from child care centers throughout J-do to whom a questionnaire containing 51 questions was distributed. Collected data was verified with a chi-squared test and an independent samples t-test. Results: First, among variables of professional practical of physical activities, some factors including class size, class planners and leaders, the number of outdoor classes per week and requisite time, parts of related education plans, parts of content selection for physical activities, and parts of the evaluation of physical activities showed significant differences depending on the class. Second, among variables of support requests when implementing physical activities, some factors including methods of preparing physical activity plans, teaching -learning methods, evaluation methods, body expression activity programs, and parts of physical exercise in the standardized child care curriculum of refresher and extension courses showed significant differences depending on the class. Conclusion/Implications: This study discusses the effective management of refresher and extension courses as a way to improve physical activity management plans and teachers' support requests for infants aged 1 to 2.

Development and Application of Learning Materials for the Law of Planetary Motion using the Kepler's Abductive Reasoning (행성운동법칙에 관한 케플러의 귀추적 사고를 도입한 학습자료의 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop learning materials based on the Kepler's abductive reasoning and to identify high school students' rule-inferring strategies on the law of planetary motion. The learning materials including the concepts of solar magnetic field, conservation of figure skater's angular momentum and Kepler's polyhedral theory were developed and the questions about Kepler's 2nd and 3rd law of planetary motion were also created. The participants were 79science high school students and 83general high school students. The patterns and properties of their abductive inference were analyzed. The findings revealed that the students showed 'incomplete analogy abduction', 'analogy abduction' and 'reconstruction' to generate the hypotheses concerning the Mars' motion related to the solar magnetic field. There were more general high school students who showed the incomplete analogy abduction than science high school students. On the other hand, there were more science high school students who showed the analogy abduction and reconstruction strategy than general high school students. Also, they showed 'incomplete analogy abduction', 'analogy abduction' and 'model construction and manipulation' to generate the hypotheses concerning Kepler's second law. A number of general high school students showed the incomplete analogy. It is suggested that because the analogy of figure skater cause the students' alternative framework to use, more detailed demonstration is necessary in class. In addition, students combined Kepler's polyhedral theory with their prior knowledge to infer Kepler's third law.

A Study on the Effects of Training Factors on Transfer of Training, Training Satisfaction and Retraining Intentions - Based on the management consultation project for foreign customer service restaurant in Chungnam province - (교육훈련요인이 교육훈련전이, 교육훈련만족도 및 재교육의도에 미치는 영향 - 충남 외국인 이용 음식점 경영 컨설팅 사업 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of a government-supported project developed to improve the quality and hygiene levels of food, service, and restaurant facilities for foreign customers in Chungnam province. Data was collected from 53 restaurant owners and restaurant managers. This study empirically analyzes and presents a mode with key factors influencing transfer of training and training satisfaction. Multiple regression analysis methods were used to test the relationships among four factors for transfer of training, training satisfaction, and retraining intentions. There are three main findings. First, teaching methods and relevance factors had a significant effect on transfer, but instructor and education environment factors did not. Second, the teaching methods, instructor and education environment factors had a direct influence on training satisfaction, but the relevance factor didn't. Third, transfer and satisfaction both were influenced significantly by retraining. Based on the findings of this study, a trainer, designing training curriculum for a production environment, should emphasize the role of the trainer and focus on learning tools. Finally, a thorough learning design is needed for learner's satisfaction.
