  • 본 논문에서는 현대사회에서 스마트 폰 보급의 활성화와 좋지 않은 자세로 오래 앉아 있는 학생들이 자가적으로 척추 측만증을 진단하여 스스로 인지하게 하는 것이 목표이다. 척추측만증은 통증이 나타나지 않아 질병으로인해 병원에서 진료받지 않으면 자가적으로 판단하기 어려울 뿐만 아니라 방치하면 추간판 탈출증 등 여러 척추 질환에 노출 되기 쉽다. 질환을 예방 하기 위해 자이로 센서와 균형센서를 이용하여 집이나 재활트레이닝 센터 및 학교 등에서 자가적으로 판단을 할 수 있다. 센서를 통한 자가적인 진단 정보는 휴대폰의 어플리케이션으로 전달되어 척추 측만증의 정도를 알 수 있고 그에 따른 운동방법이나 자세 교정 방법등을 알려주고 운동 프로그램을 설계하는 시스템을 개발하는데 목적이 있는 연구이다.

  • In a good class, the elements that make up the class are organically related as a system. The goal of the class is to foster the ability of students to fully understand the educational content of the subject and then apply it to their professional areas. Therefore, for ideal classes, it is necessary to design students to acquire the necessary theories and apply them practically. The question We always ask ourselves during lectures is how to effectively give large-scale lectures for students. This is also the concern of all professors in charge of large-scale lectures opened across various major fields. Now is the time to find ways to effectively give lectures on a large scale. We studied how it is most effective to design and implement various factors such as lectures, presentation and group organization, assignment, group presentation, professor's group presentation guidance, lecture materials posting, questions and answers, group presentation feedback, final report writing, and grade calculation.

  • This paper aims to present the model of engineering design education workshop for appropriate technologies. Since 2008 Handong Innovation Center for Engineering Education and a Non-Profit Organization, Sharing and Technology, held engineering design workshop during every summer break. We present the contents of the workshop and analyze the educational effects of the program. The workshop is entitled "Engineering Design Academy for the other 90%" because we take it serious that most of the research and development efforts of the science and technologies in the world is just focused on the rich people while the other 90% people in the world are unreachable from the benefits of the modern technologies. By the workshop we tries to provide the college students the perspectives on the worldwide poverty problems and to encourage them to serve the 3rd world people in need through their specialties in the field of engineering profession. The evaluation results by participants are very positive. Especially, we began invite the 3rd world people to the workshop as design problem clients from 2010 summer workshop. The evaluation from them are also very positive. The analysis results on the educational effects of the workshop show that the workshop improves the students skills required by the ABEEK (Acreditation Board of Engineering Education of Korea) including not only design capability but also team work, communication skill, understanding the social impacts of engineering design, engineering ethics, and globalization.

  • The new plan for the current computer engineering involved in education and research in the values of the major and one of the female students, and you can improve your major satisfaction and retention training and development assessment process is the point of need. in computer engineering majors can be linked to the process of targeted quantitative and qualitative research conducted by the results of major and career choices of students turned out to be a mismatch could result in the phenomenon of female engineering escape. How to study ICT in education for female students to computer engineering major regional, historical and social context should be re-designed to suit the characteristics and analysis of exposed female students majoring computer engineering from anxiety and weak organization that has a sense of belonging, and to offer the first and is the appropriate teaching methods seems to be.

  • 본 연구는 성인학습자를 대상으로 효과적인 비대면 수업방법에 대한 개선점을 모색하여 교수자의 수업역량 향상에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 PBL(문제중심수업) 교수법을 기초로 4주차 수업을 설계하고 웹엑스(Webex)를 활용한 교수법을 49명의 학생에게 적용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고연령 성인학습자를 대상으로 디지털기기 활용법에 대한 사전 숙지가 필요하며, 둘째, 팀활동을 위한 웹엑스 세션별 수업은 강의실 수업에서 수동적인 학생들의 적극적인 수업참여를 이끌었고, 셋째, PBL(문제중심수업) 수업 방식은 비대면 수업에서도 학생주도의 수업을 이끌어 내고 활발한 상호작용을 통해 학생들의 문제 해결과 실천역량을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 성인학습자를 대상으로 한 교수자의 비대면 수업 교수법에 기초적인 자료가 될 것이다.

Design and Implementation of Students Information Management System using XML (XML을 이용한 학생 정보 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Many people have been building HTML documents due to rapid spread and growth of web. However, HTML has limits in satisfying user's requirements, so that XML has emerged. In this paper, we design and implement student information management programs and presentation methods for maintaing the general student life archives and the analysis of results of examinations using XML and web browser. We define a XML DTD for general student life archives, and build XML documents. A private student life archive is printed from XML documents on the web using XMLDOM, DATA-BINDING, and XSL. Also, personal items and a roll book of a class can be printed and searched. In order to analyze the result of examinations we define DTD and build XML documents according to the DTD.

An R&E Model between University and High School for Information & Communication Technology Major Introduction and its Case Study (정보통신 분야 전공탐색을 위한 고교-대학간 연계 R&E 모델 및 사례연구)

  • Since no course is offered in the area of professional ICT(Information & Communication Technology) in the high school curriculum, high school students do not have the opportunity to learn about the ICT engineering area and the possible career paths in the field. Due to this problem, high school students are not motivated to choose ICT majors at university level, and in turn, the ICT departments are struggling to recruit qualified students. In this paper, we present an R&E (research and education) model to mitigate this problem. We also present a case study on the program following the model offered by "H" university in collaboration with a local high school. Through the program we provided high school students with design and development experiences to solve engineering problems related to the ICT area and tried to attract their attention to ICT majors. The participants of the R&E program were able to experience the systematic engineering design process, ICT tools, teamwork, and communication skills through problem solving procedures. Based on three years of observation and the survey, it was found that more than 76% of students were motivated highly by ICT and engineering majors via the program. The main contribution of the paper is that we have proposed and proved the R&E program model and applied the ICT R&E model to a program to attract qualified students to ICT majors.

  • To meet the need for trained work force from the industries, industry-oriented education for students majoring in die & mold in university level is required. If the new university graduates with creativity and high technology could be put right into the work places without training at the work sites, that will lead to remove the wasting factor in education and reinforce the competitiveness of Korea's technology power. Industries would be satisfied with the trained workforce from universities and the rate of employment will be increased. To meet the needs from industries and universities, die & mold design engineering curriculum tailored for industries is developed.

Design and Development of XR Contents Authoring Framework for IT Convergence Education (융합영상콘텐츠 교육을 위한 XR 콘텐츠저작 프레임워크 설계 및 제작)

  • Despite the growing educational demand for the extended reality (XR) convergence content creation for non-IT students, fewer studies have attempted to education material development. In this paper, non-IT students' requirement to create XR convergence contents was analyzed and designed framework system specification. The object-oriented application framework (OOAF) was developed for non-IT students to create XR convergence contents through simple interaction methods such as drag and drop in-game engines. To evaluate the developed framework XR contents development course was operated with 26 industrial design majors sophomore in university. More than 90% of students succeeded in working on prototype XR contents in Oculus Rift. This result will be expected to improve the quality of XR contents creation education for non-IT students and contribute to the growth of the future convergence contents industry.

Design and Implementation of Web Apps that Automatically Convert Floor Plan by Detecting Geometric Shapes (도형 검출을 통한 건축 평면도 자동 변환 웹앱 설계 및 구현)

  • The method of calculating the architectural design cost of the Korean Society of Architecture Policy considers the time spent during the design period. Therefore, faster design times can reduce design costs. As a result of a survey of students majoring in architecture, they felt tiredness from repeated floor plan drawings and difficulties in that there were many things to consider when floor plan drawing. In this paper, we implement a program that can automatically convert sketches into standardized floor plans during the architectural design process and a web app for user convenience. In the proposed method, when a user registers a sketch image through a web app, the program separates the space in the drawing through geometric shapes detection. Based on the dimensions and spatial information shown in the sketch, the outer and inner walls are displayed and the appropriate furniture is placed in the space. Through the proposed method, the design cost can be expected to be reduced by reducing the time of the drawing process in the architectural design stage, and 95.2% of architectural students expressed their intention to use the program.
