현재까지의 고교배정은 지망배정과 무작위배정 방식을 이용한 배정방식으로 원거리 통학자가 다수 발생하는 등의 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 GIS의 네트워크 분석기능에 의해 계산된 학교와 학생간의 도로중심의 거리를 이용하여 원거리억제지향의 배정방식을 도입하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 시스템을 울산지역에 적용한 결과, 근거리 배정 방식에 의해 배정된 학생(5318명)중 82.39%(4799)가 6Km미만의 근거리, 17.36%(1011명)가 6Km~18Km의 중거리, 0.25%(15명)가 18Km이상의 원거리로 배정되었다. 상기의 시스템은 학생 및 학교의 주소에 대한 자동주소맵핑기능, 학생과 각 학교에 대한 최단 거리의 자동생성, 학교의 정원초과에 의해 불가피하게 발생하는 원거리 학생을 최대한 억제하기 위한 방법 등을 고려하여 설계되었다.

본 논문에서는 현 교육의 문제점을 해결하고 학생들 개개인의 특기.적성을 살릴 수 있는 클럽활동 프로그램에 있어 기존의 방식인 손으로 직접 작업을 하던 클럽활동 부서 배정 방식을 향후 교육환경의 변화 추세에 맞추어 학교 안에서 이루어지는 교육활동을, 시간적.공간적 제약을 벗어나 자유로운 공간에서 학생 임의로 클럽활동 부서를 신청, 자동 배정할 수 있도록 PHP와 MySQL을 이용하여 시스템을 구축함으로써, 학생들에게는 정보화 교육의 극대화를 꾀하였고, 교사에게는 조직.편성.운영의 시간과 경비를 줄임으로써 교수-학습의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 방향을 제시한다.

This paper suggests a new method for team-based learning which is focusing on the individual job assignment to solve the possible problems of free riders, dysfunctional conflicts, and hostility among students. Especially, it examines that if a method using job assignment could reduce the adverse effects of peer evaluation. This study was executed during one semester. Each team was organized with seven members and an independent job among seven different jobs was assigned to each member. At the end of the semester, it was examined that if individual job assignment had solved the possible problems of free riders, dysfunctional conflicts, and hostility among students. Finally, this study found that a new method of team-based learning using a job assignment lessened a problem of free riders, and reduced dysfunctional conflicts and hostility among students comparing with the peer evaluation method. The suggested method in this paper, which focuses on the job assignment of team project, could improve the efficiency of team-based learning in education course.

제7차 교육과정은 선택과목을 확대하고 수준별 수업을 유도하고 있다. 이러한 방식에 따르면 중고등학생들이 대학에서처럼 자신이 수강신청한 과목에 따라 교실간에 이동하게 된다. 학교당국과 학생들이 기존 교실 환경내에서 이러한 교육적 변화를 적극적으로 수용할 수 있도록 소프트웨어적인 보조가 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 시간표 작성 , 시설 배치도 작성, 교실 배정, 교실 위치 및 시간표 보기, 그리고 민감도 분석을 위한 통합 시스템을 제안한다.

Recently, various universities in Korea have started to work on strengthening their liberal arts and character education through the residential college (RC) system, carrying out various community programs for this purpose. However, because most programs are based on student-to-student relationships, problems can often arise within the community living environments. This paper proposes the roommate assignment algorithm in the context of a residential college, as to effectively achieve character education goals. The clustering algorithm we propose is based on the similarity hypothesis. As a result of the assignment, the degree of similarity (euclidean distance) between roommates was significantly higher than that assigned randomly. The algorithm developed in this study was applied to the data of the students living in the international campus of H University.

며칠 전 졸업반 4학년 학생들을 인솔하고 산업체 현장 견학을 다녀왔다. 지난해말 한국을 강습한 IMF 한파 이후 처음 있는 현장 방문이라 여러 가지 면에서 감회가 새로웠다. 일차적으로 김포공항에서 탑승한 부산행 항공기의 현격한 승객 감소가 피부로 와 다았다. 예년 같으면 아침 시간에 좌석배정 카운터가 매우 혼잡할 텐데 별로 힘들지 않게 좌석 배정을 받고 탑승할 수 있었다. 위축된 기업환경과 가계로 인하여 비싼 항공출장과 관광 승객이 대폭 줄은 탓 같았다.

This study examines room assignments to improve accessibility in a university dormitory depending on the student grade, taking into account frequency of using a certain common space. An integer programming model is presented to minimize the total moving distance from the common space to the students' rooms for accessibility. The model also constrains the maximum capacity of a room, and disallows different grade students to be assigned to the same room. This model is similar to a facility location problem used widely in the supply chain management field. Applying our optimization model to a small group at the dormitory of Unversity A as the case study, our results indicate that lower grade students are assigned rooms closer to the common space due to their higher frequency of using that space to guarantee high accessibility. Moreover, if higher grade students are prioritized to select their rooms, we suggest an objective function that imposes a penalty in cases when lower grade students select rooms with priority. Based on the results obtained, we propose assigning rooms to students in a dormitory by considering their complex requirements and convenience to use the common space.

Park et al. (2012) examined the impacts of coeducation in high school on the college scholastic ability test using random assignment in Seoul high schools. However, the student random assignment in Seoul within a school district was performed only within 30 min commutable areas using public transportation and Park et al. (2012) did not aware of this rule. This paper reexamines the question by matching nearest two single sex schools with a coeducation school within a school district. We found single sex school students achieve higher test score than that of coeducation school for both male and female. The magnitude of test score improvement for female is smaller than that of Park et al. (2012). However, the magnitude for male is bigger than that of Park et al. (2012).
