This study intends to analyze the capabilities of cyber teachers and clarify their qualifications, as the whole new e-Learning system is about to take root. In this study, the activities of cyber teachers are analyzed and some standards of applicability of cyber teachers, or the so-called ISSCT, are presented. Firstly, the activities are divided into teaching, counselling, process management, development of professionality. Based upon these four activities, nine tasks have been formed and the structure of 22 sub-tasks has been completed. This is the way the standards of applicability of cyber teachers are established in consideration with their activities. Secondly, the standards of information capability of cyber teachers have 53 elements in total, and the aforementioned ISSCT are presented in relation to the ISST, based upon the standards of information capability of cyber teachers.

  • In this paper, samples are collected for individual companies and the factors affecting worker wages (average annual salary) are analyzed in depth. In addition to the average annual salary of workers in a company, we would like to conduct an in-depth analysis of the average annual salary of first-time employees. Specifically, we tried to explain the size of companies, the production structure of capital and labor, and the impact of business on the average annual salary of first-time, college, and graduate school graduates by educational background of first-time employees. The difference in average annual salary of first-time employees of logistics companies is a decisive factor in the main project on sales, and first-time graduates and college graduates provided high salaries in the overseas passenger cargo transportation, port operation, and unloading management, and low salaries in the land cargo and warehouse industries. n addition, Korean logistics companies had relationships between the location of the headquarters, the number of employees, the proportion of labor costs to sales, and the four characteristic factors of the main business on sales. This fact is that Seoul-based foreign passenger cargo transportation, corporate logistics agency, complex transportation, and international transportation relay are large companies, with a low proportion of labor costs and a higher proportion of capital, technology, and information-intensive investments.

  • This study attempts to analyze the spatial disparity between supply and the demand of volunteering activities in Daegu, South Korea. The spatial disparity of volunteering activities has been strongly influenced by the residental disparity in terms of socio-economic level. The ratio of volunteers is mostly determined by income and education level that strongly impact the spatial distribution of residential area. The regional difference of ratio of volunteers is greater among Gu districts than in Dong level. The recipients for the volunteering activities have been likely to reside in a particular area within a Gu district; so, regional difference of the recipients was severe in dong level rather than Gu level. It is strongly recommended to exchange volunteers among regions to reduce the spatial disparity between the volunteers and the recipients.

  • This paper investigates how individual labor income is determined by initial conditions - such as educational attainment, age, and sex - and all the other conditions. Using KLIPS (Korea Labor & Income Panel Study) database, the paper finds, first, that over the period of 1998-2008, cross-sectional income distribution has deteriorated for the whole sample but not within each age group. Second, income mobility defined by the relative importance of initial conditions in individual income disparities has moderately increased in most age groups.

  • After analyzing and finding the explaining factors about the "Effect of My Mom's Friend's Son (MMFS Effect)" with online-surveyed data, we introduce this concept into the conventional job search theory to develop it further. We try to estimate its effects on the hazard rate of youth pre-employment duration with some proxy variables such as his/her parents' schooling, living with parents dummy, increasing rate of consumer price index representing the burdens of parents, monthly temporary/daily workers ratio, relative ratio of quarterly 90th percentile urban household income, monthly average wage differentials between the workers of large and small firms, etc. The results confirm us the fact that so called "MMFS Effect" has been effective enough and strengthened up to recently. The conventional job search theory should be extended to be able to introduce the influencing effects of other person's success, for instance MMFS's success, on the job search behavior of youths, too.
