  • 최근 급속히 성장하고 있는 광통신산업의 발전에 있어서 주목할 만한 경향 중에 하나는 제품의 소형화 및 집적화라 할 것이다. 마이크로 광모듈 접속/조립 시스템은 광모듈을 소형화하고 고기능성 광통신 부품의 개발에 있어 가장 필요한 장비이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초소형 광모듈 접속/조립 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 두께가 약 30 $\mu\textrm{m}$인 박막형 필터와 렌즈일체형 파이버를 접속/조립할 수 있는 시스템을 개발 및 초소형 광통신용 1$\times$1 OADM(Optical Add/Drop Module) 모듈을 제작하였다.(중략)

  • This study describes the design and implementation of IFA(Input Filter Assembly) for Digital Satellite Communication. The IFA unit for SHF band consists of coupler, LPF(Low Pass Filter) and input Filter. Through the pre-simulation analysis of space environment, the possibility of the malfunction of equipment minimized and we designed a reliable IFA through simulation for vibration analysis generated during the launch, and compared pre-simulation of main performance results to test results about main performances of IFA after production.

  • 콜로이드 결정 (Colloid crystal)이란 용액 상에서 부유 하는 작은 입자들의 자기 조립 (self-assembly)에 의해 형성된 주기적인 2차원 혹은 3차원 구조를 말한다. 이러한 결정 구조는 광학 필터나 스위치, 광 밴드 갭 재료, 바이오 센서 등의 과학 기술적인 응용을 비롯하여 액화 물질의 상 변화 등과 같은 물리적 현상을 규명함에 있어서 중요한 모델을 제시한다. 특히 최근에 콜로이드의 자기 조립체는 자연적으로 갖게 되는 주기적인 유전율 변화 때문에 빛의 진행 방향이나 특성을 조절할 수 있는 광자 결정 (Photonic Crystal) 구조 제작의 경쟁력 있는 접근 방법으로 각광 받고 있다.   • At present, the fabrication of optical filter for optical communication mostly depends on handwork, and only a few companies are propelling semi-automatic systems compounded with automatic and hand-operated methods. The measurement evaluation of optical filters is not commonly useful, so it causes difficulties in the producing field. And the packaging process becomes a very unstable process because the filters are judged from the results that they are not measured and immediately packaged during that process. In this situation, the automatic assembly system of optical filter for communication is extremely important and has begun to make its appearance as the most necessary technology for developing optical communication component with high-functionality. In this paper, we constructed systems of assembly and performance evaluation for micro optical collimator. And by using that, we designed a system capable of performance evaluation and assembly of film filter of about 30 $\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness as well as optical filter for common communication.

  • An automation process of filter unit is presented for the application of the assembling procedure and dry furnace work. By that automation procedure, it is expected to enhance working environment such as reducing laboring load, harmful gas, and burning scald. Furthermore, this automation process also minimizes via standardization of manufacturing process so that it may increase productivity and reliability. An automation process of filter unit is presented for the application of the assembling procedure and dry furnace work. Filter automation process also gives a good quality and productivity by simplifying to only one line from the complicated process such as filter cutting$\rightarrow$ adhering$\rightarrow$fabricating in a very small space. It is found that a new conceptual design of dry furnace shows the better quality like uniform heat distribution compared to the conventional design. It is also found that the present design gives a better working environment by adding cooling system.

카메라 모듈용 적외선 차단 필터 설계 및 코팅 실험 연구

  • 카메라 모듈에서 사용되어지는 적외선 차단 필터는 적외선 영역을 차단시킴으로써 보다 선명한 영상을 획득할 수 있는 매우 중요한 부품으로 각광을 받고 있다. 가시광선과 적외선 영역에서 주로 사용되어지는 광학 박막 물질로는 고 굴절률을 가지는 $TiO_2$와 저 굴절률을 가지는 $SiO_2$가 일반적으로 쓰인다. 본 실험에서는 카메라 모듈용으로 사용되어지는 적외선 차단 필터를 설계하고 이온빔 증착 장비를 이용하여 코팅 공정을 한 후에 각각의 특성들을 평가하였다. Macleod 프로그램을 사용하여 640nm 및 650nm 차단 필터를 설계하였으며, 설계된 데이터를 이용하여 Ion-Assisted Deposition 장비를 사용, $TiO_2/SiO_2$ 유전층을 다층 박막으로 증착하였다. 코팅되어진 차단 필터의 특성을 관찰하고자 Spectrophotometer를 이용하여 투과도를 측정하였고, SEM 사진 단면 관찰로 다층 박막의 두께를 알 수 있었으며, AFM 측정으로 표면의 거칠기 정도를 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로부터 필터의 파장을 조절하여 박막을 증착하였다. 640nm 및 650nm 차단 필터는 설계 곡선과 각각 6nm와 2nm 이내에서 일치하였으며, 400~600nm에서 80% 이상의 투과도를 보였고, 근적외선 영역인 700nm이상에서는 1%이하의 투과도를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 wafer level packaging 을 이용한 카메라 모듈 조립 공정에 응용할 수 있으며, 본 실험에서 제작된 적외선 차단 필터를 이용, 8인치 차단 필터를 제작하는데 기초데이터로 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The maximum accuracy of position control by using an industrial robot is about $100{\mu}m$, whereas the maximum tolerated imprecision in the position of precision parts is about several tens of micrometers. Therefore, it is very difficult to assemble parts by position control only. Moreover, in the case of precision assembly, jamming or wedging can easily occur because of small position/orientation errors, which may damage the parts to be assembled. To overcome these problems, we investigated a force control scheme that provides proper motion in response to the contact force. In this study, we constructed a force control system that can be easily implemented in a position-controlled manipulator. Impedance control by using an admittance filter was adopted to perform stable contact tasks. It is shown that the precision parts can be assembled well by adopting impedance control and blind search methods.

Optimal Design of a One-chip-type SAW Duplexer Filter Using Micro-strip Line Lumped Elements (마이크로 스트립라인 집중소자를 이용한 일체형 탄성표면파 듀플렉서 필터의 최적설계)

  • Conventional SAW duplexer filters employ a 1/4 wavelength transmission line, which causes difficulty in fabrication of the strip line on the package. Its manufacturing process is also complicated, because it needs integrating process of the separate transmitting filter, receiving filter and isolation circuits. This paper concerns development of a new structure of the duplexer filter that has all the transmitting filter, the receiving filter and the isolation circuit as a one chip device. For composition of the duplexer, we design the component SAW ladder filters and the isolation network consisting of lumped inductor and capacitor elements. Performance of the whole duplexer is optimized by the nonlinear multivariable minimization of a proper target function, and the result is compared with that of commercial filters.

  • Assembly process data can be gathered in real time in a manufacturing execution system (MES) server using proximity sensors, barcodes, RFID, ZigBee, Bluetooth, wireless sensor networks, etc. Although this is suitable for identifying process flow and checking production progress, it is difficult to trace the location of individual workers in real time for missing work or trajectories within the work area. To overcome this, the location and trajectory of the working tool can be analyzed in real time through a position tracking system of an operator's working tool. It can instruct the operator to perform a consistent working process. Productivity and quality improvement can be achieved by an alarming or blocking operator with possible assembly defects during the assembly process in real time. To this end, we developed a real-time tool position-tracking sensor system based on Ultra Wide Band (UWB) trilateration using a Kalman filter to eliminate mechanical vibration and radio communication noise.

A Study on the Design and Analysis of the Fuel Boost Pump Motor Assembly for an Aircraft (항공기용 연료승압펌프 모터 조립체 설계에 대한 연구)

  • The fuel pump, which is used for an aircraft, was first developed in Korea through the Civil-Military Dual Components Development Program. The BLDC motor type, which is superior to the DC brush motor when considering efficiency, endurance, and explosive environmental characteristics, was applied to the fuel pump given its capacity and operating condition. The magnetic flux of the permanent magnet was analyzed based on the magnet flux density equation, using the Maxwell equation and the environmental condition. The motor performance, according to the load, was analyzed using the finite element method in order to design validation. The motor assembly was developed by designing the motor drive and the EMI filters. The performance test results of the motor assembly for the fuel boost pump were consistent with the analysis.
