A Study on the Fisharena Development Policy in Japan (일본의 피셔리나 정비사업에 대한 한 고찰)

  • Illuminating Japanese Fisharena Development Policy, we tried to find out some implications on the utilization of fishing port facilities as a way to accommodate uprising marine leisure demands of Korea. The major findings of this study are concentrated in the following three points. First, Japanese Fisharena Development Policy can be functionalized in Korea as a means of policy, but for the intervening difference of demand situation, precise forecasting on the marine leisure demands has to be preceded and Fisharena should be prepared as a supply buffer. Second, in the development stage of Fisharena, Software side is important as well as Hardware side. On the development and operation, utilizing civil organizations is necessary to bring down the wharfage of Fisharena to not suppress the marine leisure demands. Third, selection of the fishing port and decision of the development scale are additional important points. In particular, preferential consideration of utilizing inner-city fishing ports as small-scale Fisherinas to address the marine leisure demands would be desirable in Korea.

  • This study is conducted to propose an activation plan for fisherinas by analyzing in depth the needs for fisherina development. For this purpose, the result is derived through the analysis of literature, in-depth interviews and Delphi methods. As a result, the need for fisherina development is shown as follows: first, the saturation due to the increase of maritime recreational vessels; second, the possibility of economic development; third, the activation of the fishing village economy. Accordingly, the problems of the fisherina are derived, first, the conflicts with fishermen and recreational vessel users, second, the financial difficulties, third, the lack of infrastructure. The activation plans for fisherinas are as follows: first, forming a consultative body centered on stakeholders; second, ensuring financial soundness; third, building infrastructure by linking businesses; and fourth, systematic supplementary plans. These results will play an important role in expanding the underdeveloped domestic fisherina business and will be another step in activating the maritime leisure industry.

  • Fisher information matrix plays an important role in statistical inference of unknown parameters. Especially, it is used in objective Bayesian inference which derives to the posterior distribution using a noninformative prior distribution and is an example of metric functions in geometry. The more parameters for estimating in a distribution are, the more complicate derivation of the Fisher information matrix for the distribution is. In this paper, we derive to the Fisher information matrix for 3-parameters Weibull distribution which is used in reliability theory using Mathematica programs.

우리나라 단기이자들의 피셔효과

  • 이 논문에서는 1991년 1월부터 2000년 12월까지의 납세 후 CD수익률 자료와 소비자물가지수 자료를 사용하여 우리 나라 금융시장에서 단기적 피셔효과가 존재하는지를 검증하고자 시도하였다. Fama(1975)의 방법에 따라 3개월 물가상승률을 CD수익률에 관해 회귀분석한 결과, CD수익률이 미래 물가상승률의 예측치로서 충분한 역할을 하지 못한다는 결과를 얻었다. 단기적 피셔효과를 검증하기 위하여 CD수익률을 기대물가상승률에 관하여 회귀분석하였다. 기대물가상승률은 상수 및 시간추세와 계절성을 반영하는 부분과 확률적 부분으로 구분하고, 확률적 부분이 랜돔워크 모형에 따르는 경우와 AR(1) 모형에 따르는 경우에 대해 기대물가상승률을 구하였다. 랜돔워크모형에 의해 예측하든 AR(1)에 의해 예측하든 기대물가상승률의 회귀계수는 유의한 양(+)의 값이긴 1보다는 훨씬 작은 값으로 추정되었다. 이것은 우리나라의 CD수익률에 단기 피셔효과가 부분적으로만 존재하고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 그리고 AR(1)을 사용하여 예측한 기대물가상승률이 랜돔워크모형을 사용한 경우보다 나은 추정결과를 보여주고 있다.

  • This study is enabled our country to compare and analyze Korea's and Japan's marina development related fishing villages in the sea ports, sea port law's systematical research, approved permissions, and operation related ordinance enactments. Henceforth, the results of the research regarding the fisherina development model appropriate for domestic circumstances are as follows. First, the fisherina must be developed in a way to create a new source of income in the fishing villages. The initial steps must be taken in improving the fishing industry and revitalizing the marine leisure sports. Second, there must be a development of a system to reduce its development costs. Third, the existing sea port's unused equipments must be developed in a remodeled form.

  • With petroleum reserves dwindling, interest has been increasing worldwide in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FT) as a method of producing synthetic liquid fuels and chemicals from coal, natural gas or biomass. In general, FT synthesis is operated through the gas phase fixed-bed reaction system. Recently, there are lots of study in supercritical fluid due to unique characteristics such as the quick diffusion of reactant gas, effective removal of reaction heat, and the in-situ extraction of high molecular weight hydrocarbon, such as wax. In this study, our major aim is to obtain a deeper insight into the effect of the type of support on the reaction performance over a supported cobalt catalyst in a fixed bed reactor.

Synfuel Production Technology : Catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis (합성액화연료 생산 기술: Fischer-Tropsch 합성용 촉매)

  • Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) converts synthesis gas (CO and $H_2$) into longer chain hydrocarbons by a surface polymerization reaction. Cobalt- or iron-based catalysts normally show excellent activity for syngas conversion to petroleum products leading to super clean diesel fuels. The catalytic activities of the catalysts in FTS depend on the number of active sites on the surface. The number of active site was determined by the active metal particle size, loading amount, reduction degree and support-active metal interaction. The investigation adopts new methodology in preparing FT catalyst, which contains the controlled synthesis of active metal. The main focus of this paper is to give an overview of the types of catalysts, also including their preparation and reduction; the types of FT reactors; and also including the reaction conditions.

  • When we compute the maximum likelihood estimators of the parameters for the logistic regression models, which are useful in studying the relationship between the binary response variable and the explanatory variable, the standard error calculations are usually based on the second derivative of log-likelihood function. On the other hand, an estimator of the Fisher information motivated from the fact that the expectation of the cross-product of the first derivative of the log-likelihood function gives the Fisher information is expected to have similar asymptotic properties. These estimators of Fisher information are closely related with the iterative algorithm to get the maximum likelihood estimator. The average numbers of iterations to achieve the maximum likelihood estimator are compared to find out which method is more efficient, and the estimators of the variance from each method are compared as estimators of the asymptotic variance.
