Many companies in Korea are paying close attention to Six Sigma to get better business results. And there are numerous success stories on the use of statistical methods in solving problems, improving processes and cutting costs. However, there are many cases in which statistical methods are misused or inappropriately applied. In this paper, the pitfalls to avoid in using statistical methods are discussed. Also the role of statistics in Six Sigma is examined.

본 연구에서는 현 연구개발 과제의 선정과 관리 체제하에서 발생할 수 있는 역선택과 도덕적 해이의 문제점을 방지하지 위한 연구개발 과제 선정·관리 체제의 효율화 방안을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 선정과정에서는 효율화를 위한 이론적 논의와 함께 정부주도의 연구개발 사업의 선정과정의 변천을 살펴보았다. 관리과정에서는 프로젝트 수행자의 도덕적 해이를 방지하기 위한 방편으로 엄격한 성과 중심의 관리체제 도입에 중점을 두었으며, 이와 관련한 우리 나라의 현행 성과 관리체제 및 성과측정 방법에 관한 이론적 접근과 성과측정 모형 등의 성과 중심의 관리에 대한 고찰을 하였다.

G7 프로젝트로 개발중인 첨단생산시스템(FMS로부터 CIM까지)의 핵심구성요소인 고성능.고정밀공작기계의 성능을 평가할 수 있는 요소를 개발하고 사례로서 이를 Machining Centers에 적용하여 각 요소별 세부항목과 기준을 개발하여 제안하였다. 또한 이 평가내용을 국제경쟁제품과 비교하거나 국제경쟁력 달성정도를 평가할 때 용이하게 사용할 수 있는 적절한 평가모형도 제안하였다.

[ $\lceil\;Cost Effectiveness Analysis\;\rfloor$ ] has been widely used to evaluate effectiveness of R&D resources. But, almost of cost effectiveness evaluation systems have some problems, especially estimating method of effect on R&D project is very rough and imprecise. To solve this problem, we have designed new single effect evaluation system, which are able to apply the distribution of order statistics and to transform relative measure into absolute measure for getting single effect.

시멘틱 웹은 전자거래의 지능화 및 자동화를 실현하기 위한 필수적인 요소로 인식되어가고 있다. 시멘틱 웹에서 사용자와 서비스 정보가 공유되고, 위치, 날씨, 일정과 같은 사용자의 컨텍스트 정보를 활용하여 모바일 장치를 통해 고부가가치의 개인화된 모바일 서비스를 제공하는 것은 그 유용성에 비하여 아직 실제 사용하는 사례가 드물었다. 본 논문에서는 카네기멜론대학에서 실제로 추진되었던 Mycampus 프로젝트에 참여한 경험을 바탕으로 시멘틱 웹과 컨텍스트 기반의 모바일 서비스의 구현 방법과 교훈들을 밝히고자 한다.

This paper provides a method of consciousness structure analysis for research and development project evaluation using fuzzy structure modeling(FSM). Fuzzy structure modeling, which is a modeling method for consciousness structure, has a large number of pairwise comparison by human subjective judgement and is difficult to check the consistency index of denoting the precision for human judgement. Thus, in this paper, we analyzed the structure of consciousness by fuzzy structural modeling method, introducing the concept of pairwise comparison matrix in Analytic Hierarchy Process.

In real world, the organization has multiple objects. Inorder to solve the multiple objects, we present the goal programming for solving project selection problem we also developed expert system which is focused on function of analysis. User which doesn't have knowledge of goal programming can solve the project selection problem and get a result of analysis.

문구ㆍ팬시 업종의 생산품은 아동용품과 문구류가 대부분을 차지한다. 이러한 제품의 특성으로 인해 아동들에게 새로운 제품을 시장에 신속하게 소개하는 제품개발력이 경쟁우위의 요소가 된다. 이러한 경쟁우위 전략을 위해서는 창의적인 개념을 가지고 디자인 할 수 있는 능력과 이러한 개별적인 능력을 바탕으로 통합적인 신제품개발 전략과 시스템을 구현하는 것이 우선 과제가 될 것이다. 지금까지는 신제품개발을 단순하게 프로젝트 차원에서 각기 관리하는 방식에서 탈피하여 총체적인 신제품개발 프로세스를 분석하고 그 시스템을 구축해야 한다. 이 논문에서는 신속하고 창의적인 제품개발을 할 수 있도록 통합적 신제품개발 시스템을 구현하고자 한다.

Project Managers want to reduce the cost and the completion time of the project simultaneously. But the project completion time tends to increase as the project cost is reduced, and the project cost has a tendency to increase as the project completion time is reduced. In this paper, the resource constrained project scheduling problem with multiple crashable modes is considered. An exact solution method for finding the efficient solution set and the computational results are introduced.

본 논문에서는 과학기술 연구개발 프로젝트를 수행하는 연구 팀 및 조직을 지원하기 위한 지식포탈 아키텍처를 제시한다. 효율적인 과학기술 연구개발을 지원하기 위해서는 사람, 지식, 팀 공동작업, 커뮤니케이션, 연구관리 프로세스 등의 통합적 지원이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 과학기술 연구팀의 지식 활동을 지원하기 위한 지식관리시스템과 그룹웨어, 팀 협업시스템, 연구관리시스템 등의 통합 방안을 제시하고 개발된 프로토타이프 시스템을 소개한다.
