Nursing Students' Patient Safety Competency and Patient Safety Management Practice (간호대학생의 환자안전 역량과 환자안전관리 행위)

  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of patient safety competency on patient safety management practice by nursing students and provide basic data for the development of the program to improve patient safety management practice. Participants were 293 fourth year nursing students who had clinical practice as student nurses for more than one year. Data were collected from April 26 to May 9, 2018. Collected data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson' s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 24.0 computer program. Nursing students' patient safety competency was an average $2.90{\pm}0.38$ points (patient safety knowledge $2.68{\pm}0.65$; patient safety skills $3.26{\pm}0.56$; patient safety attitudes $2.75{\pm}0.40$). The average core of management practices to patient safety recorded $4.13{\pm}0.57$ points. In terms of the correlation among subjects' patient safety knowledge, skills, attitudes and patient safety management practices, significant correlation existed between skills and management practices (r=.337, p<.001), attitudes and management practices (r=-.150, p =.010), knowledge and management practices (r=.171, p=.003). Regression analysis revealed that 15.7% of the variance in patient safety management practice by nursing students could be explained by patient safety skills (${\beta}=.307$, p<.001), patient safety accident experience of Fire (${\beta}=-.127$, p=.026), patient safety attitudes (${\beta}=-.121$, p=.026), and patient safety accident experience of patient education (${\beta}=-.119$, p=.034). Additional studies to determine the various factors affecting patient safety management practice of nursing students and to develop educational program for increasing patient safety management practice should be conducted.

  • 최근 프로그램은 그 크기와 복잡도가 나날이 증가하고 있어, 프로그램 행위 모델링에 대한 중요성은 다양한 분야에서 증대되고 있다. 프로그램의 동적 분석은 런타임에 생성되는 데이터가 너무나 많아, 많은 데이터를 활용하기 용이한 딥러닝 기술이 사용되고 있다. 하지만, 기존의 연구들은 연산과 연산의 매개변수 중 매개변수에 대한 고려가 충분치 않았다. 이는 매개변수가 딥러닝에 알맞은 입력으로 표현되기 어렵기 때문인데, 우리는 이를 해결하기 위해 매개변수로 인해 발생되는 런타임 행위에서 특징적인 값들을 추출하는 것으로 대체하였다. 또한, 연산과 특징적인 값들이 여러 개의 LSTM-RNN 으로 처리됨을 보이고, 이 결과를 시각화 하여 효과적임을 보였다.

The Effects of Family Function, Health Perception, and Self-efficacy on Health Promoting Behaviors of Nursing College Students (간호대학생의 가족기능, 건강지각, 자기효능감이 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향)

  • This is a descriptive research study aimed to investigate the relationship between health promoting behaviors, and some factors such as family function, health perception, and self - efficacy of nursing college students and identify the factors affecting health promoting behaviors. Results showed that family function, health perception, and self - efficacy were correlated with health promoting behaviors. Regression analysis showed that family function, health perception, and self - efficacy seemed to explain 37.7% of health promoting behaviors. Thus, as family function, health perception, and self-efficacy are important factors that affect health promoting behaviors of nursing college students, it is necessary to develop a health education program considering family function, health perception, and self-efficacy to promote desirable health promoting behaviors. In the follow-up study, it is necessary to expand the study subjects and the results of such studies should be applied to the development of programs aimed at promoting the health of nursing college students, and further studies should be conducted to verify the effectiveness of those programs.

Mediating Effect of Self-esteem between Children's Perceived Parenting Style and Health Promoting Behavior of School-Aged Children (학령후기 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 건강증진행위 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among school-aged children's perceived parenting style, children's self-esteem, health promoting behavior and to determine whether self-esteem was a the mediator of the relationship between parenting style and health promoting behavior. Participants were 425 school-aged children of 5th and 6th grade. Data were analyzed using t-tests, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression. The child's health promoting behavior was positively associated with receptive parenting style and positively associated with self-esteem. Also, the results showed that the effect of receptive parenting style on health promoting behavior was significantly partially mediated by self-esteem. Therefore, parenting style and children's self-esteem need to be factored in when designing and applying health education program for school-aged children. Also, the program need to be designed to enhance receptive parenting style that can lead to children's increase self-esteem.

Convergence Study of University Students' Knowledge, Perception, Attitude, and Preventive Behavior toward Particulate Matter (미세먼지에 대한 대학생의 지식, 인식, 태도와 예방행위에 대한 융합연구)

  • This study was conducted to identify the level of knowledge, perception, attitude, and preventive behavior toward particulate matter (PM) among university students, as well as to determine factors influencing their PM preventive behaviors. Questionnaires were distributed from December 9 to December 20, 2019, and the data from 180 valid responses were analyzed using SPSS Window 18.0. The scores for knowledge, perception, attitude, and preventive behavior against PM were 62.00 points, 72.33 points, 77.30 points, and 69.02 points, respectively, when converted to a 100-point scale. Regarding the factors influencing preventive behavior, only perception was significant among the assessed factors (p<.001). Therefore, it is suggested that efforts be made to promote preventive behavior related to PM. Furthermore, when developing a program to promote preventive behavior related to particulate matter exposure, it is necessary to consider strategies to improve perception of PM preventive behavior.

  • 간호원은 비록 그가 양호교사가 아니라고 하더라도 그가 처한 위치에서 거의 매일 건강교육을 실시하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러한 비정규직 교육은 상황에 따라 간호활동의 대상자들에게 수시로 별 준비 없이 실시한 경우도 있겠으나 효율적인 결과를 얻을 수 있는 체계적인 보건교육은 구체적인 학습목적과 교육과정이 교육적으로 미리 계획되어 있어야만 가능하다고 할 것이다. 양호교사의 기본적인 역할이 학교 구성원들의 건강증진과 질병예방에 있으며 효율적인 건강교육을 통하여 이러한 목적을 달성한다고 할 때, 양호교사는 자신을 그 학교공동체의 주된 건강교육자로 이해하고 학교에서 이루어지는 모든 보건교육 과정에 적극적인 참여를 하여야만 한다. 그러한 역할중의 하나는 보건에 관한 수업을 실시하는 학과목 교사나 담임교사들이 건강교육에 관련한 협의를 양호교사에게 요청하도록 적극적인 건강교육환경을 학교 내에 조성하여야 하는 일과 중요한 건강주제에 대하여서는 양호교사가 직접 수업을 교실에서 이끌어야 하는 것일 것이다. 이 논문에서 다룬 보건교육 교안 연구는 양호교사에게 또 건강에 관한 주제를 가지고 수업을 하는 일반교사에게 중학생의 건강교육 과정의 한 모델로써 사용하는데 도움이 될 것으로 본다. 건강교육 프로그램을 질병예방, 건강증진에 초점을 두어 설계한다고 할 때 건강교육의 주된 방향은 대상자 하나 하나의 생활에서 건강을 위한 바람직한 행위를 생활화하도록 하는 것이다. 이 목적을 학교에서 달성하기 위해서는 건강교육 프로그램을 통하여 학생들에게 건강에 대한 지식을 전달하고 그 지식 위에 건강을 위한 바람직한 행위를 하도록 동기를 부여하며 그러한 행위를 지속하도록 보강하는 것이 필요하다고 할 것이다. 사람들은 건강에 대한 지식이나 정보를 가지게 되면, 행위는, 그것에 상응하여 바람직하게 행할 것이라고 가정하기가 쉽다. 그리하여 건강에 대한 정보를 주는 것 건강교육을 했다고 간주하기도 한다. 그러나 실제적으로 건강을 위한 정보를 받고 지식을 가졌다 하더라도 바람직한 행위를 실천하지 않거나, 습관된 반건강 행위를 바꾸지 않는 경우가 많다. 그러므로 건강한 행위를 실천하기 위해서는 그에 대한 가치관이나 태도가 먼저 분명하게 세워져야 한다. 학생들의 경우에도 그 가치관이 확립되어야 하겠으므로 이를 위한 효과적인 교육방법이 제시된 교육안 모델이 있어야 할 것이다. 즉 건강문제에 대한 태도의 확립과 그에 따른 올바른 행위를 실천하도록 하기 위하여 구체적으로 치밀하게 계획된 건강교육 안이 연구되어 지는 것이 건강교육의 가장 중요한 과제중의 하나이다. 이 연구에서 제시하는 건강교육 프로그램에서는 많은 부분의 정보가 학생들 스스로에 의해서 수집되도록 하였다. 그렇게 함으로써 그들이 흡연에 관한 사실들을 스스로 명백하게 파악할 수 있었기 때문이다. 또한 소그룹 토의와 논쟁의 방법을 통해서 학생들이 흡연에 대해서 자신들의 생각하고 있는 것을 검토하여 올바른 판단을 하도록 하는 기회를 가질 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Program Plagiarism is an infringement of software copyright. In detecting program plagiarism, many different source program comparison methods has been studied. But, it is not easy to detect plagiarized program that made a few cosmetic changes in program structures and variable names In this paper, we propose a new ground-breaking technique in detecting plagiarism by Memory Access Log Analysis.

Senior Center Based Diabetes Self-management Program: An Action Research Approach (노인복지관 당뇨병 자기관리 프로그램의 과정과 평가: 실행연구방법)

  • The purpose of this study examined the feasibility and efficacy of a senior center-based diabetes self-management program applying action research approach. The cyclical action research method was applied for this study: plan, act, evaluate, and reflect in delivering three waves of the intervention program. Three waves of a 12 weeks-length small group diabetes self-management program were offered during the period of 15 months in a senior center in Seoul. Planning of $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ wave program were based on reflection of $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ program evaluation respectively. Among the 46 participants, 93.48% (N=43) completed the program. The quantitative evaluation showed statistically significant improvement in HbA1C(p<.001), fasting plasma glucose(p<.001), BMI(p=.016), waist circumference(p=.001), systolic blood pressure(p=.036), diabetes self-management behavior(p<.001) and health knowledge(p=.008). Qualitative data revealed that individual management was very helpful in empowering and adhering for own diabetes care for the participants. Participants reported high satisfaction towards the program with mean satisfaction score of 65.12. Application of the Diabetes Self-management program with action study strategy was successful in community setting for improving participants' subjective and objective outcomes. Action research method guides the practitioner to tailor the program to respond for the participants and field needs.

Health Promotion Behavior and Health-related Quality of Life by Acculturation Levels among Chinese University Students in Korea (재한중국유학생의 문화적응환경에서의 건강증진행위와 건강관련 삶의 질)

  • This study was to identify the relationship between health promoting behaviors and health related quality of life at acculturation environment of Chinese international students in Korea. From November 2010 to December 2011, 395 Chinese international students in undergraduate, masters or doctorate courses from 10 universities and graduate schools in Seoul and vicinity participated in self-report survey of the acculturation level, the health promoting behaviors and SF-12, the health related quality of life. The data of 395 students were classified to 3 groups based on the acculturation level. The low level group showed the health promoting behaviors strongly influence the physical component score of quality of life. As the acculturation level increased, the health promoting behaviors closely affected to the mental health-related quality of life. The results indicated that the acculturation level may be control variable to define the relationship between the health promoting behaviors and the health-related quality of life.

The Influence of Knowledge and Attitude on Behavior related to Particulate Matter in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 미세먼지 관련 지식과 태도가 행위에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated predictors of the behavior related to particulate matter in nursing students. The participants in this descriptive study were 186 nursing students at K university in G city from May 1 to 14 in 2018. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The level of knowledge(10.6/15), attitude(59.94/75) and behavior(42.56/60) were relatively high. The significant predictors of the behavior were attitude(β=.591, p<.001), smoking(β=-.134, p=.049) and respiratory disease(β=.133, p=.025), and explained 40.1% of it. Educational programs to enhance nursing students' health promoting behaviors against particulate matter must be focused on attitude change.
