  • 본 연구는 프로그래밍의 기초 개념과 프로그램 작성 전 매우 중요한 비중을 차지하는 순서도를 활용하여 초등학교 학생에게 적합한 프로그래밍 기초학습 내용을 선정하고 협력학습을 통한 프로그래밍 기초 학습 수업을 설계하여 성취도에 대한 영향을 분석함으로 초등학교 학생들의 체계적인 프로그래밍 학습 방법을 모색하여 초등학교에서의 적합한 프로그래밍 교육 과정의 일부를 제시하고자 하였다.

A Study on the Effect of Flipped Class by Analysis of Programming Achievement (프로그래밍 성취도 분석을 통한 플립드 수업 효과에 대한 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of the flipped class by comparing Python programming classes divided into flipped class and general class. The participants who participated in each class had 36 students, so that they could participate in the class without knowing the difference of the class method. The students's academic achievement was applied the two groups with similar test items, and then the overall achievement were compared. The analysis showed that the achievements in flipped class in the basic grammar and intermediate grammar were higher than those in the general class. As a result of gender achievement analysis, there was no effect on the type of instruction. However, male student were generally higher in academic achievement. In conclusion, flipped class in the programming is a good way to improve students' understanding.

  • 프로그래밍 교육은 학습자의 창의적이고 논리적인 사고력을 함양시키고 문제해결능력을 신장시킬 수 있는 ICT 교육의 한 분야로서 많은 교육적 가치를 가지고 있다. 프로그래밍과 관련된 초등학교 교육내용은 7차 교육과정에서 누락되었지만 2005년 12월에 개정된 초 중등학교 정보통신기술 운영 지침에 따라 초등학교에도 프로그래밍 교육과정이 도입되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 5, 6학년 '정보처리의 이해' 영역의 프로그래밍에 관련된 학습내용을 학년별 연계성을 고려하여 재구성하고 학습 성취에 대한 피드백을 강화하는 프로그래밍 교육을 위한 웹 코스웨어를 설계 하였다. 웹을 기반으로 설계된 이 시스템은 학교나 가정에서의 프로그래밍 교육 기회를 확대시키는 역할을 하며, 학습자가 학습 성취도를 직접 확인하여 자신의 능력에 맞게 학습속도를 조절할 수 있어 자기 주도적 학습 능력이 향상될 것으로 기대된다. 또한 학습자에게 다양한 동기유발 자료와 학습 결과에 대한 적절한 피드백을 제공함으로써 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 흥미와 학습 성취도를 높일 것으로 기대된다.

  • Lately, studies on the educational effectiveness of educational programming language which can reduce the learning burden of the learners have been conducted in the programming learning process. This study analyzed the effect of programming education on the learning motivation and academic achievement after training the programming education using Scratch and Dolittle on the preliminary elementary school teachers. As a result, the experimental group trained by Scratch programming education showed significantly higher achievement than the control group by Dolittle Programming. This result can be helpful in selecting educational programming language when the programming education will be trained to the preliminary elementary school teachers.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the programming capability for the students majoring in H/W. For implementing this purpose, first, the academic achievements on the C language and C++ language are measured for the graduates-to-be majoring in H/W and S/W. Second, the H/W and S/W curriculum are compared and analyzed to derive the relevant factors to give influence on the academic achievement of the programming. Third, to find the influence of mathematic competence on the academic achievement of the programming, the relevance is analyzed in terms of the regression analyses between mathematics curriculum and programing curriculum. This paper presents the effective teaching method for the improvement of the programming academic achievement in the H/W curriculum.

  • 본 논문에서는 프로그래밍 교과에서 학습참여도가 성취도에 끼치는 영향을 규명하였다. 학습참여도는 예습참여도, 수업참여도, 복습참여도로서 학습활동별로 측정되었다. 중다회귀분석 결과, 세 개의 독립변수는 성취도를 설명하는 모형은 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 예습참여도는 성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 유의한 영향을 미치는 두 요인 중 상대적 기여도는 복습참여도, 수업참여도 순인 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 프로그래밍 교과의 성취도 향상을 위한 교수학습 전략을 제시하였다.

  • Lately, as the importance of software and the software education has been emphasized, the studies on ways of teaching programming to elementary students have been actively progressed. However, most of undergraduates as prospective elementary teachers who will be in charge of teaching programming at the elementary schools have a lack of interest in programming education as well as of the understanding of basic programming principles. Therefore, this study investigated how programming education using hands-on robot and scratch affected learning motivation and academic achievement of preliminary teachers. The comparison of results of two programming educations shows that the programming education using hands-on robot revealed statistically significant difference in learning motivation and academic achievement.

  • In the knowledge-information-oriented society, it is difficult for students to solve lots of problems or adapt themselves to society just by using simple knowledge. Students have to develop individual problem solving ability and creative, logical thinking ability. They can develope these abilities by learning computer programming. This thesis studies the influences of a flow-chart learning on the logical thinking ability in Scratch using programming learning. The findings identify that the making algorithm by using flow-chart is more effective in developing logical thinking ability then the making algorithm by using pseudo-code.

Analysis of Learner's Characteristics and Relationship between Learning Styles and Achievements in Online Programming Course (온라인 프로그래밍 학습에서 학습자 특성 및 학습양식과 성취도간의 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the learner's characteristics, and relationship between learning styles and achievements in online programming learning environment. For the analysis, after performing the inspection of learning styles of Grasha-Reichmann for 104 middle and high school students, online programming learning were performed for 12 weeks. First, according to learner's variable, boy was higher than girls in dependent learning style. Middle school student higher than high school student in competitive and avoid learning styles. Independent and participant learning styles show a significant difference in achievement level. Analysis of the relationship between learning styles and achievements show that independent(r=.253, p<.01) and participant(r=.303, p<.01) have the positive correlations. As a result, independent and participant learning styles are confirmed to be related with achievements. In addition, we analyzed each learning style characteristics by writing survey of the impression of the learners by main learning styles, through which we could derive teaching and learning strategies for the online programming by learning styles.
