The study for analysis of acidity and moisture in paper record by mobile small NIR spectrometer (이동 가능한 소형 근적외선 분광 분석기를 사용한 종이 기록물 내 산성도 및 함수율 분석에 대한 연구)

  • As for quality evaluation of paper records, it is very important to measure acidity and moisture in paper. In the case important paper records, it should be measured directly in field. But ISO standard analytical method would be limited to measure directly in field for quality evaluation of paper records until now. Therefore it could be to use mobile small NIR spectrometer for being analyzed by direct and non-invasive method in field. The wavelength range of small spectrometer has from 900 to 1700 nm, and the surface of paper could be measured by diffused reflected optical fiber probe. Thus, the acidity and moisture could be analyzed on the paper record with from 1970 to 2003. As the result, it could be confirmed to have each more than 0.9 as the correlation of acidity and moisture. Thus, it will be possible to develope the evaluation system of paper record with mobile small NIR spectrometer and optical fiber by the result.

  • 본 논문에서는 전류품질 향상을 위해 다양한 전압벡터를 인가하는 모델 예측 제어 기반의 공간 벡터 변조 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 모델 예측 제어 기반의 전류제어는 제어주기 동안 하나의 스위치 상태가 인가되어 낮은 스위칭 횟수로 인해 높은 전류품질을 기대하기 힘들다. 이러한 이유로 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 공간 벡터도 상에서 전압벡터의 세분화를 통해 스위칭 횟수를 늘려 전류품질을 높일 수 있다. 또한 계통 위상각을 이용해 필요한 전압벡터만을 사용하여 비용함수를 계산하기 때문에 제어주기 동안 계산시간을 보장할 수 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 방법이 기존의 모델 예측 제어 기법의 전류제어 기법보다 향상된 전류품질을 보장하는 것을 검증하였다.

  • 디지털방사선영상시스템의 영상 품질을 비교하기 위해 영상의 정량적인 분해능을 나타내는 변조전달함수(MTF), 노이즈 특성을 나타내는 잡음력 스펙트럼(NPS)을 이용하여 영상 품질평가를 하였다. IEC61267 선질을 사용하여 IEC62220-1에서 제시하는 기하학적인 조건과 실제 임상에서 사용되어지는 기하학적인 조건을 사용하여 그리드 및 부가필터, 임상선량을 이용하여 edge 팬텀을 사용하여 MTF, NPS값을 측정하였다. 그리드사용 유 무, 부가필터사용 유 무, kV, 임상선량(mAs), 영상검출기까지의 거리에 따른 MTF 결과는 임상조건 100cm, 180cm과 IEC62220-1 기하학적인 조건 150cm에서 MTF 공간주파수 측정값은 비슷하게 나타났으며, 오히려 임상조건 100cm에서 공간주파수가 높게 나타나는 경우도 있었다. NPS 결과는 선량(mAs)이 증가함에 따라 감소함을 나타내었다. IEC61267 선질을 이용한 영상품질평가에서는 IEC62220-1기하학적인 조건을 이용한 품질평가보다 임상조건 기하학적인 조건을 사용한 영상의 품질이 좋았다. 본 논문의 영상특성 평가 연구 결과들을 바탕으로 향후 IEC 표준의 영상평가에서 제시하는 평가방법보다는 임상 조건을 적용한 영상특성 평가방법을 적용한다면 실제 임상의 디지털방사선영상시스템의 영상품질을 적절하게 유지할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the quality of digital X-ray imaging system. The image quality evaluation was conducted By using Modulation transfer function indicating the quantitative resolution of the image and the noise power spectrum showing the noise characteristics. Using a IEC61267 radiation quality was applied to the geometry to be used in clinical and geometry presented in IEC62220-1 and Additional filter, grid, the clinical dose and the MTF value of edge phantom was measured. Result of the MTF corresponding to each item(Grid, Filter, SID, kVp, mAs), the clinical condition 100cm, 180cm, measurements of the spatial frequency of the MTF IEC62220-1Geometry 150cm became similarly apparent, rather spatial frequency was also the case high in clinical conditions 100cm. NPS results, as the dose(mAs) is increased, NPS showed that reduced. The image quality evaluation using IEC61267 the Radiation quality, Image quality of the video using the clinical conditions Geometry than image quality evaluation using IEC62220-1Geometry was better. It shows that MTF and NPC in IEC and clinical condition were not significantly different. In order to apply the evaluation method of image quality applied with clinical conditions rather than the future method, to be presented evaluation of IEC standard, based on the results of the image characterization studies in this paper, the methods that shows good quality of spatial resolution and decrease NPS value as the least dose, used suitable parameters for whether or not using added filter, grid, change SID and clinical quality(kVp), dose(mAs) etc should be found. then It is believed to be able to properly maintain the actual quality of the image of the digital radiographic imaging system in clinical.

The Quality of Milled Rice with Reference to Whiteness and Packing Conditions during Storage (백도 및 포장조건별 쌀의 저장 중 품질 특성)

  • This study investigated the effectsof whiteness and packing conditions on the quality characteristics of milled rice during storage at $25^{\circ}C$. Three kinds of packing materials (kraft paper sealed polyethylene and perforated polyethylene) were used to pack milled rice of different whiteness grades (36, 38, 40 and 42). The moisture content and weight of milled rice packed in kraft paper dropped very rapidly compared to values from milled rice packed in polyethylene because of high gas exchange through the paper. On the other hand, the increase in fat acidity of milled rice packed in kraft paper was less than that of milled rice packed in polyethylene because the moisture content of paper-packed rice fell rapidly. The overall quality of cooked rice rose with whiteness, and dropped with extended storage. The overall eating quality of milled rice paced in perforated polyethylene was bestwhen rice was prepared for the table after 8 weeks of storage.

The Study on the Characteristics of Pellets Manufactured with Morphologically Different Domestic Larix Kaemferi Carr Sawdust (국내산 낙엽송의 톱밥 유형에 따른 펠릿특성에 관한 연구)

  • morphologically different Larix Kaemferi Carr sawdust. The pellet characteristics included moisture contents satisfied the first grade (less than 10%) of quality standard of wood pellets announced by Korea Forest Research Institute. Densities were also adequate for the first grade (640kg/$m^3$) on the quality standard and there was no large difference in other characteristics of pellets, however, pellets manufactured with planer shavings had the highest density. Ash contents also passed the first grade (less than 0.7) of quality standard. But bark pellet exceeded the second grade (1.5%) in ash content. Lower absorption ratio of bark pellet showed the effect on hygroscpicity. The heating value of the manufactured wood pellets in this study exceeded the first grade of quality standard(more than 4,300 kcal/kg).

Voice Source Modeling Using Weighted Sum-of-Basis-Functions Model (기저함수의 가중합을 이용한 음원의 모델링)

  • 본 논문에서는 음성합성(speech synthesis) 및 부호화(coding) 시스템에 있어서 음원(voice source) 모델링에 관한 문제를 살펴보고자 한다. 기존의 음원 모델링 시스템이 가지고 있는 여러 문제들을 극복하고자 기저함수(basis function) 의 가중 합(weighted-sum)으로 음원을 모델링 하는 새로운 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 방법에서는 음원 파형(voice source waveform)을 적절히 표현하기 위해서 필터뱅크(filter bank)에 기초한 기저함수의 가중 합으로 나타낸다. 다양한 음원 특성을 효과적으로 나타내는 음원 파라미터를 구하기 위하여 EM(estimate maximize)에 기초한 구조에 관해 조사한다. 제안한 방법을 이용하여 다양한 유성음에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 제안한 추정(estimation) 방법 및 모델링 방법을 이용하면 기존의 방법에 비해 더 정확한 음원 파형을 추정할 수 있고, 다양한 음원 특성을 나타낼 수 있다. 또한 음성합성 및 부호화에서도 음성품질(voice quality)를 개선시킬 수 있으리라 기대된다.

Speech enhancement system using the multi-band coherence function and spectral subtraction method (다중 주파수 밴드 간섭함수와 스펙트럼 차감법을 이용한 음성 향상 시스템)

  • This paper proposes a speech enhancement method through the process of combining the gain function with spectrum subtraction method in the two microphone array with close spacing. A speech enhancement method that uses a gain function estimated by the SNR (Signal-to Noise Ratio) based on the multi frequency band coherence function causes the performance degradation in high correlation between input noises of two channels. A new speech enhancement method is proposed where the weighted gain function is used by combining the gain function from the spectral subtraction. The performance evaluation of the proposed method was shown by comparison with PESQ (Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality) value which is an objective quality evaluation test provided by the ITU-T (International Telecommunications Union Telecommunication). In the PESQ tests, the maximum 0.217 of PESQ value is improved in the various background noise environments.

  • In order to offer a service of highly qualified information, software of good quality should be designed and developed. We need the united estimation method because the existing approaches for the quality measurements measure the attributes at the different viewpoint individually. Therefor, this paper Propose the model that handles many methods of measurements. Our model selects the ratio scales and calculates the relative significance of them by using the rough logic. As a next step, the proposed method integrates the significance of scales and the measured value of them based upon the fuzzy integral. Finally, the correlations are analyzed between the existing scales with our measurements and our model is validated through statistical technique.

Fingerprint Image Quality Assessment for On-line Fingerprint Recognition (온라인 지문 인식 시스템을 위한 지문 품질 측정)

  • Fingerprint image quality checking is one of the most important issues in on-line fingerprint recognition because the recognition performance is largely affected by the quality of fingerprint images. In the past, many related fingerprint quality checking methods have typically considered the local quality of fingerprint. However, It is necessary to estimate the global quality of fingerprint to judge whether the fingerprint can be used or not in on-line recognition systems. Therefore, in this paper, we propose both local and global-based methods to calculate the fingerprint quality. Local fingerprint quality checking algorithm considers both the condition of the input fingerprints and orientation estimation errors. The 2D gradients of the fingerprint images were first separated into two sets of 1D gradients. Then,the shapes of the PDFs(Probability Density Functions) of these gradients were measured in order to determine fingerprint quality. And global fingerprint quality checking method uses neural network to estimate the global fingerprint quality based on local quality values. We also analyze the matching performance using FVC2002 database. Experimental results showed that proposed quality check method has better matching performance than NFIQ(NIST Fingerprint Image Quality) method.
